Above and beyond her skills in the collaborative process, she cares deeply for her clients and is good at figuring out any underlying issues of what might be going on. I felt as comfortable as could be with a difficult process, divorcing a husband who was in denial and didn't want a divorce at all. Theresa supported me beautifully and led us through the process smoothly.

We followed through but I wish I'd just hired Theresa from the outset- feel free to learn from my experience. She and Trinity succeeded in several key areas where many others did not: communication, explanation , flexibility, billing. Theresa has a paralegal and an assistant and no email or call ever went unanswered. Most responses were same day or within 24 hours. Every time I needed something explained and reexplained they ALWAYS did so with patience and professionalism and would write it down for me. Theresa and Tribity were willing to work with our mediator but still complete the other portions of the divorce, which many attorneys won't do. Trinity has a monthly billing review which is automatically sent and you always see the hourly billing and rates and they take multiple forms of payment. Very transparent. So professional. Believe me, many attorneys and mediators aren't so organized. In my divorce there were many bumps in the road and problems and it drew out for a long time. Theresa and her whole team were very humane to me and were sometimes the only bright spot in the process- they were people to rely on and I hope if you're in the same boat as me an my kids were that you find the same respite in Theresa Kulat and Trinity.

I would add, make sure that you have time to double check things if you hire her. I had to call her repeatedly for information on the case, there were factual errors in the paperwork that she expected me to proofread and catch, there were sometime large gaps in time from when I reached out to when she replied, and she actually gave me incorrect information! For the quality of service she provides one would think that she is a novice lawyer charging cut rate prices. Sadly this is not the case. I felt like I had to shadow manage my case and eventually just got fed up and told her I no longer wanted her services. To quote the other reviewer working with Andrea Harvey was the "most expensive, unproductive and cumbersome legal experience ever."

I had a bad experience with another lawyer prior to working with Andrea that caused a my first dissolution case to be dismissed. As a result I was very skeptical when it came to hiring legal representation. After sitting down to talk at our initial consultation Andrea put me at ease and I was ready to move forward with my case. Andrea kept me informed every step of the way. She was also professional and courteous at all times. If you would like a trustworthy attorney that will get the job done look no further. Andrea Harvey is a no nonsense lawyer with a heart of gold. I highly recommend Attorney Andrea Medlock Harvey.

Enjoy it, as you are paying dearly for the view. I do not think she provided insight or guidance into the emotional process of creating a settlement. What she did say was pretty canned and obvious. She spent a lot of time on stuff we had no disagreement about. When my husband would dominate the discussion and project anger at me she did nothing to curb this. She appeared to be totally tone deaf and did not pick up on any emotional cues. She often did not respond to emails. $400 an hour is a lot to pay for this, or was it $450? We ended up seeing her three times (one meeting was 2 hours), were charged $5000, at which point my husband withdrew and backed out of two of the three major agreements we had made. Perhaps she had nothing to do with him backing out, but I can't help but think a skilled mediator would guide people towards decisions they felt good about and that would last longer than a month. The saddest part is that by going to her my husband and I thought we would be engaging in the process of the divorce in the best way we could, but instead she made it worse, and charged a lot of money to do so. It kinda sickens me in retrospect.
