This search proved much more difficult than I thought it would be. Most of the places that I found online had phone numbers that were no longer in service or there had been no activity on their websites for a while. When I phoned Shining Eagle, the voicemail robotically repeated the number I just had dialed, so thinking that it was no longer a business, I dropped the call without leaving a message. Within minutes, I had a callback. At this point, I was just so happy to talk to a real person, that I decided to just go with it. The gentleman was very professional; he asked questions about the vehicle, the shape it was in, and what I wanted to have done. We agreed on a day/time and price. I sent a follow-up text confirming the info with the address. About 15 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive, he texted, apologizing to say he would be slightly late due to an unforeseen family situation and asked if his new ETA (30-45 minutes later) would still work. He then arrived at the new agreed-upon time. Once here, he didn't waste any time. I learned that he has been detailing cars for about a decade. Clearly, it is a real passion. He had everything he needed and was incredibly organized. We again reviewed the objectives at the car and then then for the next 3 1/2 hours, he worked non-stop. He is serious, focused and meticulous. When he was done, I barely recognized the finished product. It isn't just clean, it is restored. I highly recommend this company!

We hired this transportation service to provide shuttle transportation for our family during a…read morefuneral. We expected professionalism, compassion, and respect during an extremely difficult time. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. While family members and children were inside the funeral home saying their final goodbyes to their deceased mother, the owner and driver entered the funeral home to confront the daughter about rules regarding food and car seats. These rules had already been communicated to us, and we had already agreed to follow them. The timing and approach were extremely inappropriate given the circumstances. After leaving the funeral home, the owner again confronted our family about the same rules. We calmly explained that we understood the expectations and were willing to comply, but asked for some empathy given that we were walking out of a funeral and preparing to go to the church. Instead of de-escalating, the situation continued to escalate. As we were loading car seats, the owner physically pushed a four-year-old child out of the way in order to get to her vehicle door and close it, despite the car seats already having been removed. Multiple members of our group attempted to calm the situation so we could simply proceed to the church, but she continued escalating the interaction. The owner then called the police and claimed she had been assaulted. Officers arrived, assessed the situation, and determined that her allegations were unfounded. Because of this incident, the transportation service we had arranged and prepaid for was not provided. Our family was forced to drive our own vehicles behind the hearse to the church and cemetery. Many people were unprepared for this sudden change, had limited fuel, and were left scrambling during an already emotional day. During the incident, the owner stated that she had undergone brain surgery approximately three weeks earlier and suggested this contributed to her behavior. We cannot comment on her medical condition, but this statement, combined with what occurred, was concerning. Additionally, during a very short drive to retrieve the children's car seats, we personally witnessed the driver drive directly into oncoming traffic, creating a near-collision where another vehicle almost struck the van. This was alarming and raised serious concerns about safety. After the incident, the company posted photos of our family on Facebook along with additional claims about what occurred. The posts included photos of crumbs left behind from children's car seats, which were presented as an issue. Considering the passengers included toddlers and the transportation service was never completed, we found these posts to be unnecessary and unprofessional, especially involving a grieving family. We paid for this service in advance and have not received a refund despite not receiving the transportation we paid for. We understand businesses have rules and expectations, and our family was willing to follow them. The issue was not the rules themselves, but the lack of professionalism, compassion, and appropriate communication during a funeral. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this service.

After a series of 3 side-by-side scrapes, all in 1 accident, the entire right side of my Audi was scraped up pretty bad! It included losing the passenger mirror along with horrible scrapes along the quarter panels, the 2 doors, as well as the bumper!!! Tim Hart pretends to be a decent human being. In fact, he is a liar and a cheat…read more Like many liars, he cannot remember what he said before, so I heard many contradictory things from him. When my Honda CRV stopped working, he said it needed a whole new engine and that he had one all lined up. Believing his story, I sold the car to him for well less than 1/10th of its value. After he bought the car it suddenly did not need a new engine and was repaired at no cost by his friends in Red Hook. I kept in touch with him. A few weeks later, he could not remember what problems the car had that need to be repaired. Five months later, he suddenly could remember, and gave me a list of things that had been repaired. One of these items, the brakes, had been inspected and okayed by my own expert mechanic prior to the car's breakdown. Furthermore Mr. Hart claimed that he wanted my car to loan to clients whose cars he is repairing. What did he do that? If he advertised himself as a used car dealer, customers would be more suspicious and harder to swindle; if his purchase offer seems to be a one-time thing, he can cheat you all the better. He resold my car a few months after he bought it from me. Tim Hart is in fact a used car dealer and a dishonest one. Why do people lie in the first place? Lies are not a baroque linguistic decoration; they are a strategy to benefit the liar and disadvantage you. If your car won't go, take it to a reputable repair person who is not trying to buy your car. It is worth the towing fees to avoid being scammed for thousands of dollars. Do not believe what an expert says if he is trying to buy your car at the same time since he has a vested interest in lying to you. There are a handful honest and decent people in the car world and I have found two of them by now. Tim Hart is not an honest and decent human being. He is essentially a crook who should be avoided at all costs. I don't know how he sleeps at night.
