This school was the worst mandatory 6 year investment of my life. I'm actually embarrassed that I…read morehave to say I graduated from this hell hole. I'll list pretty much everything I've seen, experienced, and more below. 1. Favoritism- If you are not on the good side of the staff, they WILL pick you out. The staff (excluding teachers and the front desk staff, who are extremely underpaid and under-appreciated) will grant favors to those who they think seem fit. You can see examples of this in their hiring, process as well. Some students may recall an incident where there was a feud between a student, and a student related to a staff member. Needless to say, no matter the evidence provided, the related student was protected, and the other was expelled. 2. Lack of Material, Staff, and Control- I don't know where the school spent their money, but there was never enough books, enough materials, or enough staff. The school couldn't keep control of their students, if their budget depended on it...oh wait, it does! My graduating class was ~12 people. 2 people didn't even show up to the ceremony, and 1 of those people were a 5th year graduate (which is a fairly common thing with this school). 3. No tolerance- This appeals to the same-sex couples. Presidio will try to do what they can to keep same-sex couples from showing affection towards each other. I'm sure many students and parents can testify to that. I'm not sure if this is because of religious, personal, or "professional" reasons, but I do recall a staff member saying this to me, as well as a few other students. "Not in front of the kids. Do it outside of this school." I'm assuming "it" meant expressing themselves in their relationship choices. 4. No Real Classes- Granted a music class where somebody just picks up an instrument and plays with it is fun, where is the learning involved? I learned to read music, and play songs together with my classmates when I was younger. Most of the time, kids in music class did nothing but sit around and play on their phones or watch movies. There was almost never any real learning going on in the class. Also, if you were expecting a PE class, or credit requirement...they didn't have one. I actually graduated without taking any physical activity classes at all. I actually graduated with the amount of credits totaling below what any other public school student would have had to do. I wish I could continue writing about the personal experiences I had there. How my sister suffered because I personally didn't make it to school on time. Or how they don't have a nurse on staff, and diddled their thumbs around when my little brother busted his head open. They still don't have a nurse to this day. I believe there was recently a picketing about it which I saw on the news, yesterday, 9/10/13. Naturally, Presidio board and staff refused to show their faces to the camera. It's ironic how life can present the world to us at times. Today, after what's seems like an…read moreeternity, just out of the blue I made an appointment to go see Stefin Gordon at Rainbow and check out their huge selection of high end acoustic guitars. I've been a longtime customer of Rainbow, but my career as an ER nurse had kept me insanely busy over the course of the pandemic. Even after it was over, I was so burned out emotionally, I just couldn't even reach for my guitar. So today, ironically, something just told me, it was time. I called and spoke briefly to Stefin and said that I was looking forward to seeing everyone again, including my old buddy Scott Riedle. Once I arrived, Stefin told me the terrible news of Scott's passing. It really hit me cause I had come to know Scott as someone I would regard as a friend. I feel so bad cause I was so caught up in the pandemic and all it's horrors I never even knew Scott was ill. We chatted about him, of course and then explored my next purchase. It was, despite learning of Scott's passing a delightful experience as always and I look forward to seeing Stefin and the others again very soon. Once I got home I looked up Scott's information and I come to realize that he passed away a year ago. Who knows, maybe Scott was giving me a kick in the butt from the other side, saying "come on man, start playing again!" Regardless, that's how I'm going to interpret this coincidence. I'll be getting a new guitar from your friends soon Scott, and I'll be thinking about you when I play., Miss ya buddy!

I just finished my second 6-week clay class with Rebecca and it was wonderful. The studio is very…read moreprofessionally designed with three throwing wheels and tables for students to do slab work. I had always wanted to take a clay class and I can now check this off of my bucket list. First of all, Rebecca is a class act. She really knows her stuff and guides you forward with a affirming presence. She made it easy for me to feel comfortable working with the clay and not feeling like I had to have a perfect outcome. Clay is fickle and the results you get are not going to be Art Class results right away. More than anything, I just needed a creative outlet to try something new. I'm please with the pieces I made, even though some didn't work out like I wanted them to. That's just part of the learning process. It's called Clay Art for a reason. At the front of the studio when you walk in the door is a gallery of pieces by advanced artists. In looking at them, I was reminded that it takes total dedication over many years to develop the touch required for mastery of this craft. I began an amateur and ended a happy amateur with a few pieces that I'm proud off. I highly recommend taking a 6-week class with Rebecca. I recommend you drop by the studio if you're looking to purchase some really amazing clay or pottery art for your home or office.

She really needed a private class that could work with her schedule. I was so frustrated that I did not come back for the last two classes. I went to pick up my projects and could not find one of them. No explanation just gone. When teaching a class I have found it works best when everyone is working on the SAME project, and the instructor has examples in stages to show and tell them while doing a walk around checking in with students while the class is working on the SAME project/item. This was not the case everyone was all over the place and there really was no organization to the class plus we did not follow what was stated in the class notes. I feel it was poorly organized, lack of instruction and follow-through. Rebecca was our instructor, she is a kind and thoughtful person who is very knowledgeable, and I think if she changed a few things she could make the classes fantastic. This was a beginner's class, so I sincerely feel they need to be more structured and supervised (walkaround). I would like to note that my mother, husband and I all took the class, and this sentiment was felt by all. To be truthful, due to my experience with this first class I will not be taking another class, sorry but that is how I feel. I took this class to gain some rudimentary techniques, relax, and spend some time with family but instead left with two classes to go due to anxiety and learning NOT MUCH to NOTHING! I am not someone who gives up easily but I felt the frustration and anxiety simply was NOT worth the gain or lack there of.

My children have attended little ranch day school since 2024. Of course I understand through school…read moreand different ages and atmospheres children will act certain ways and accidents happen. With that being said my oldest son (4) has been being bullied by multiple children and adults in his class. More often than not the classroom ratio is severely off. It has gotten to the point where my son is afraid to go to school where as that was his favorite thing to do last year. He scream cries and physically vibrates from shaking so bad out of FEAR of a TEACHER....Priscilla. Priscilla is allowed to have her son in the same classroom as she is monitoring however her son is older than the other children and much bigger over all. Her child is autistic and non verbal. Majority of the time I am picking up or dropping off i see Priscilla physically overpowering her son, dragging him by the arm or just over all yelling. I understand autism is its own to handle but this child is left to use the other kids as biting toys and punching bags. I've witnessed multiple children get shoved across the room by said child while Priscilla was worried about facing me and denying anything I said. My four year old son was also able to make it out of the classroom (child locked door) out of the campus and out the front office before an adult saw him running down Glenn because he was so afraid of this specific teacher. His reasoning was "but mommy I stayed on the sidewalk i was safer ". The corporate office of small miracles conducted an investigation supposedly and the fix would be moving Priscilla out of her own class into training and then she would not be allowed to be alone with her own class. They moved the teachers schedules around so she's not in my sons class at drop off or pick up but she has continuously found reason to write my son up immediately after being reprimanded for her behavior (feels like retaliation at this point) My son has also informed me that Priscilla pinches him. -I asked if he liked a list of teachers, his answers were all yes except Priscilla I asked why and he stated "she touches me and yells at me" I asked him to show me how she touches him and he pinched himself on his shoulders. This is not the first time Priscilla has been found in the middle of child abuse allegations at this specific school. 2024 another mother found her sons head covered with a blanket (by Priscilla) and the cot was also kicked out from under the child's head. Speaking with the director of the school Maria Monaco does nothing. She is very good at rebuttals and not listening. She's cold and tends to appear as fake. Speaking to the corporate Maria apparently also does nothing because there is very little follow up on her end.
