My significant other visited here and is allergic to lidocaine. The doctor talked her into it, and…read moreher throat swelled shut and thankfully not all of it since she tipped her head to the side so it would not drain down her throat. The doctor was a complete jerk and because she had to have special anesthesia was irritated that he had to apply it every 15 minutes. Why would someone want a needle jammed in their mouth every 15 mins if they didn't need it? She could have had her throat close up and died from it. He then proceeded to say at the end of the procedure that he was almost done so he didn't need to apply it again and it wore off. He then worked on her for 30 mins after the anesthesia wasn't working. It's been three months and she is still having problems with her mouth because of this unprofessional arrogant know it all. Needless to say, if you have any thing out of the ordinary then this doctor is not for you. He owns this place and thinks he's king of the endodontic world. Horrible customer service and I called to complain and they told me to write them a letter.

He said he wanted to consult with my dentist there and come up with a plan. Two and a half weeks went by so I called to make sure I wasn't lost in the mix. A polite lady said that they had been on vacation and that she would leave a note for them to contact me asap. 6 weeks went by, nothing. Screw them. I went to NUVIA in Roseville and got it done. Also my wife went to Col Hgts Dental and said the clinic was dirty. STAY AWAY FROM COLUBIA HIEGHTS PERIOD!

I believe ethics are extremely important when partnering with a healthcare provider. Unfortunately,…read moreI have to question this after what happened to me. Reading the reviews, I see this is a pattern for this dental practice. I came in as a new patient for a routine cleaning since I've just moved to the area. I was really excited to establish care here since it's close to me. I also was happy to have a lady doctor. My insurance is kicking in on February 1 so I wasn't open to any extra services quite yet. I just wanted to establish care, get a good exam and above all, a cleaning! I had made my insurance situation clear when I made the appointment and again with the assisting staff. Also, I didn't actually need more X-rays as I have them from my previous dentist, but they insisted. After all that, the dentist gave me a hard sell on 4 quadrant deep cleaning and a new crown (which I did need), but not on that day ... I didn't want to pay out of pocket given my insurance would be kicking in soon. My dentist was visibly upset that I didn't sign the expensive out-of-pocket treatment plan on the spot. She then spent maybe 5 minutes cleaning my teeth. Terrible vibe and a waste of time as I have to now schedule an actual cleaning somewhere else. What a disappointment. I think the dentists must have a sales quota. I will be reporting them to the BBB, the city and various licensing associations.

It was a long procedure and the dentist and his assistance checked in with me multiple times to see how I was doing and helping me to be comfortable. Initially the front office had told me that they would not be able to verify my insurance because it was the weekend (and even suggested that I might come back the next day), but when the crown procedure was diagnosed and recommended they were able to verify the insurance (which covered 50 percent of the cost). Very glad to have landed in this office and might choose to use them for non-emergency dental work as well.

A DENTIST & TEAM THAT CARES!!…read more I usually HATE going to the dentist, I've walked away from many dental offices feeling like no matter what I do to take care of my teeth nothing is good enough, or I get referred to a super expensive specialist, and if not I have to pay super expensive bills for being uncomfortable and anxious for an hour or two. That being said I have NEVER had such an amazing experience and have never been so comfortable during the whole process! Even when I voiced that I was getting nervous my dentist stopped everything and talked me through the options and made me feel comfortable and confident in the plans moving forward. I felt like a person that was getting help from a professional and not the usual distant non personal experiences. I cannot say enough good things about Bass Lake Dental, everyone was kind and helpful and was there to help you feel confident and comfortable the whole time. I've found my forever dentist here and I hope you do to!

I'm really impressed with Personal Care Dentistry after being a patient at Park Dental for years. The hygienists are lovely people (shout out to Brianne, if I remember her name correctly, she's amazing), and mostly good communicators. I had to get my permanent retainer removed, and they offered a much more reasonable price for the work, including replacing it with a better version. They recently made huge renovations to their clinic (thanks to building equipment malfunction on an upper level), so it's very new and clean. They do charge extra for credit cards, which can be a lot when the bill is so large (as it often is with the lack of dental insurance coverage. They do offer 5% off when your insurance doesn't cover the expense). Parking: free in a parking lot
