Bought a used vehicle from here about a year and a half ago. Great customer service. They disclosed what was wrong with the vehicle beforehand, basically some tranny leaks we had fixed elsewhere. I was able to negotiate a lower sales price due to knowing there's was some work to be done. That was much appreciated. We did find out when our usual garage fixed the tranny leaks that the vehicle tranny fluid was black, probably was when we bought it, but with a closed system the dealer couldn't have known that as they did not touch anything tranny related. Currently, I have a different vehicle on their lot needing tires after a pot hole incident yesterday. Our experience in the past with this company tells me we'll be well taken care of this time too read more

Adrian lies to customers Jim the service manager has to cover his tracks. Northland Chevrolet will tell you one thing and do another. Will not call you back and act like you've never been there how this company exist is beyond me. I had to contact Chevrolet corporate and let them know How they conduct Business . will update. As the Minnesota Attorney General will tell you my last visit I dropped off my truck and stated an electrical issue was stopping my vehicle from starting stopping intermittently and my transmission was shattering. I check in a week later they say they have no record of me being there even though they have my truck I check in the next week and they say they're waiting on a service contract. I said I would pay the difference if they are putting non-OEM parts in after warranty I was told my truck was done. Everything was covered. I get there and I was told I have to pay $500 for a wiring harness which gym the service manager waived because he knew Adrian was a scammer. Apparently the next day of my transmission was shattering so I brought it to a real professional who told me it was a rebuild so I called them back and asked what the deal was, and they finally admitted that they got the transmission from a junkyard after I specifically stated I wanted OEM and to call me with any updates. I picked up my truck, they lied to me and now I'm dealing with a vehicle that was in worse shape than I picked up. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from Northland Chevrolet, I've contacted Chevrolet corporate Minnesota Attorney General and will be pursuing pursuing this matter legally and will update. Sidenote this company works hand-in-hand with Northstar Ford by the mall stay away from both of these companies as they are pure swindlers... read more

Terrible first they were going to give 11000 then 9500 only to back out and no take the trade at all never do business with them liars

they sold me a truck that had issues the day after I bought it and luckily I paid for a warranty when I purchased the truck. I've owned it for a year put 20,000 miles on it and it's been in there service shop 4 times for the same issue and have yet to fix it properly or find the problem. read more

I went to have them buy my Jeep on a Tuesday, not one person reached out to me for 3 days because they missed a spot for me to sign. Not one person reached out, I was told "we didn't even mail it out yet". where was my phone call Tuesday-Friday? I had to reach out and I had to track down the salesman who "didn't know anything". They have absolutely no idea what they are doing here. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We were travelling and needed service on our new Silverado. The service department got us in quick and took care of the problem. I wish my local Chevrolet dealership was this prompt and polite! If we lived near Superior, we would use Northland Chevrolet. read more

We bought a 2013 Dodge Caravan from them for $7,000, and instantly had problems. It started immediately when I discovered there was no AC. Then, at week 3, we discovered that the struts were snapped and the brakes were only paper thin and about to break, so we had to get that fixed. We talked to them and after a lot of back and forth and pressing on them hard about this, they agreed to fix them, despite our asking to be put into a different car. We expressed then that it seemed like an illegal practice to sell a car in this condition without disclosing it or fixing the problems (since they were dangerous problems rather than just a cruddy car). 2 months later, the car broke down while driving it due to a bad alternator. 2 months after that, it overheated and we were once again stranded on the side of the road. After getting that fixed, it overheated again and I was stranded - AGAIN! That's when we were informed that it had a broken head gasket and the whole engine was shot, so the car is complete trash: only 7+ months after I bought this worthless thing. I would NEVER buy from them. They took advantage of a young guy who came to them after 2 previous cars crapped out within a month or 2 of having them, and desperately needed a reliable car. This was expressed multiple times: we need a reliable car. Instead of being honest and telling us that they didn't have a reliable car in our price range so we could go somewhere else, they brought us a car that was only worth $2000 (at best) and sold it to me for $7000+ at a 25% interest rate. Here I am 7+ months later of payments where 80% was going to interest and I still owe almost $7000, despite putting $1500 down. I don't know how that's possible, but now I have a worthless car with a bad engine, no trade in value on it and I can't even get $300 for junking it. I've been trying to reach the sales manager, Joe, for months about the warranty. I have left multiple messages and he refuses to call me back. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU and rip you off!!!!!! read more

I'm very disappointed in Chevrolet northland inspections! I bought my 2017 jeep from them November 8th and on the 13th I had new tire's put on despite them telling me I could get another year out of them. Due to me taking my new to me jeep on a road trip next week. Let me tell you I am SO GLAD I got new tires!!! There was a massive cut in one of my tires and it could have blown at any given point and sent me straight into a major accident!!! This is a HUGE safety concern! Myself or someone else could have been severely injured!!! Needless to say I will never be buying a used vehicle from here again not will I ever have a vehicle serviced here and have lost all faith in their service team. read more

Northland Chevrolet - Car Dealers Near Me - Superior, Wisconsin

See all

I'd give 0 stars if I could! This place is taking advantage of a mother whom came into the dealership looking for a used car with few miles for her and two children. They claimed that the car I purchased passed all inspections. Little did I know after I purchased the car that two days later the check engine light turned on and there's no ac in the car! I callled them regarding it and they told me it probably just needs a recharge. Engine light wasn't there concern... well here I find out the ac is completely broken and needs a few sensors and thermostat. They finally called me back and stated to bring car back they're would take a peek and cover cost of repairs. Two weeks later now and they are telling me they can't cover the cost of the repairs that they claimed they would fix. In the Wisconsin inspection sheet care is in great working condition no issues ac was checked off as working so as far as I'm concerned they are falsely filing paper to state of Wisconsin. I'll be contacting BBB! read more

Very very nice to me, I came in to get my car looked at because it was leaking oil. They didn't charge me, were polite the whole time, and I will be coming back! read more

I bought a used car from here in September. After 2 weeks it began having issues not blowing hot air. I found out it needed a completely new radiator and my service man recommend I discuss this with the dealer as it was a very recently purchased vehicle. When I called Northland Chevrolet they were very unhelpful with this process and helping me fix my vehicle. I was told that a car is a machine and machines break down. Additionally, I was disappointed in the poor quality of their detailing of the vehicle and the immediate need to change license plate lights. Overall, I would never recommend this business to any friends or family and will not be doing business there again. read more

I've been doing business with them for years, and own two cars from there. I have had some good experiences, but several bad. 1. Bought a car off the used lot- 3 days after, the touchscreen went out. They charged me full price for a diagnostic report and the repair of it. 2 days after that, my window motor broke. Don't buy used cars from there. 2. Scheduled an appointment for an inspection on my other vehicle. sent my fiancé to drop it off and pick up the loaner. No one there had any idea or record of my appointment, even though I had gotten a confirmation email about it. The gentleman who took the keys had no idea what was going on. Do people not communicate there? How did a schedule appointment get lost? I will not be purchasing a car there again. I would urge others to go elsewhere. read more

Dan Ploehn was absolutely awesome! I went in unsure if I could get the vehicle I wanted and he did absolutely everything he possibly could have and got me into it! He was funny, and personable! Which is GREAT when you're spending a couple hours in one place! Everyone there was very nice and helped me with any questions I had! Great experience! read more

Had one of the worst experiences working with their service shop. Brought it in to be repaired, it was pretty expensive, but I figured it was worth the price to have it done by a Chevy dealer. Two days after getting the car back from the shop I experienced the EXACT same issues I was having before. They diagnosed my car a second time and gave a completely different issue and quoted an absolutely ridiculous price for repair. I will not have them doing any further work on my car and am bringing it to a different shop that I can trust. Would not recommend to anyone looking for car repairs! read more

Worst place ever. Turned in a leased vehicle and because of covid we weren't there when it was inspected. There was some charges that were legitimate but there was a charge of over $500 for a scratch that went down the side of truck from drivers door all the way back to the wheel that was not there when we dropped off. It's very obvious that it was done all at once. They said there camera didn't cover where the truck was (how convenient). Spoke to Matt the manager and he basically said too bad nothing he can do. Needless to say I won't be going there ever again. Our family has 3 newer Chevrolet's that will now will be serviced at Kolar, who will also be where we shop for new vehicles. read more

I bought a truck from this dealership and it was the worst experience I've ever had to date! My salesman was so uncomfortable that it made me uncomfortable! I was very disappointed with him and the lack of service provided. I took time off of work twice after purchasing the vehicle, first to get it detailed-which wasn't ever completely done considering I had to remove sap stains- followed by a promise of a gas card after being disappointed. On the second visit he asked for my keys and then was surprised I had gassed up the truck I had bought on a quarter tank of gas. Then they asked me to come back when my tank was low so they could ride with me to fill up the tank-during a pandemic?! No thank you! I would have had to go back a third time and have close contact with them. All I wanted was a gas card after the hassle I went through and my time that was wasted. We had agreements that were never upheld and when I called him out on them he changed his story and played a pity card on me stating that he would have to personally purchase a gift card for me without even considering the amount of money I had spent on the truck. (2018 Toyota Tundra). I wish I could go back and never give them my business. I would run away from this place if I was looking for a vehicle. I feel cheated and lied too! Forced to give a 1 star because there is nothing lower. There were several other minor incidents I don't have the time to explain because the bottom line is I left extremely unsatisfied! Place is a joke!! read more

Took are car in for a maintenance issue. They said it needed a part then said there was a short then called and said they needed to keep the car one more day because the mechanic couldn't program apart. Then they called us and said that there was something else wrong with that part of the car and Would need more parts which will cost more money. Went to pick it up the way it was because it was not going to put another $12-$1300 more on top of what we already spent. Then they charged me three hours time of diagnostics which I knew nothing about I knew about the first hour but the person said no they told me but they did not. So we still have a car that is not fixed right I'll take it someplace else read more

I took my truck into the service department in late march to have some regular service done. Oil change, rotate tires, service differentials and transmission. I also had a rattling noise in the back end that I figured was suspension related. The service department ended up finding over $3000 worth of things to fix (none of which fixed the rattling I had wanted fixed). I was on a work trip, and had my employees handle the issues while I was gone, as this is a work truck. So, they had already paid the bill before I returned. Ultimately, they were going to charge me another $1200 to fix the rattling issue on top of what they had already charged . Well, it wasn't even an issue at all (which I found out after I took it somewhere else). After I got the truck back, I started having trouble with the transmission. Not shifting correctly, or not shifting in to gear at all sometimes. I took it in yesterday as I wanted to say that something they had done was not right. They charged me $120 to take a look at it (after they had screwed it up in the first place and told me that they wouldn't charge the fee). And, its still acting up. Long story short, I won't be going back to Northland Service department, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Everything was fine when I took it in. And now its far worse than when I took it in in the first place. It was not a good experience. This is the first time I have ever posted a review on Yelp. But this one was so bad, and I am so upset, I figured I had to. read more

Dennis D. on 03/23/2014 Recommended? No They lie through there teeth Bought a used SUV from northland Chevrolet. Started having some issues with the vehicle. My wife called down there to talk to them about it and there response was basically oh well. We did not get 10000 miles out of the SUV or should I say 3 oil changes before we found out there was metal shavings in the oil. Needless to say my wife drove it for 2 more days after the 3 oil change and it started clunking bad. So we had it towed to the local Buick dealer to find out that it had threw a rod. So after spending over $20000.00 at northland Chevrolet it is going to cost my wife and I well over $6000.00 to fix the vehicle. So people I suggest you never buy a used vehicle from northland Chevrolet because they new there was issues with it when they sold it to us. I wondered why the salesman ask us how long we planed on keeping it. Well now I know why. read more
