Hired them for new siding and to add 2 windows in my basement which they don't even have anyone to do the windows so they never got done. So they owe me $ for that which I'm chasing Frank around for. The whole experience with them was horrible lies , no shows , no call backs or return any text messages , subcontractors which they tell you are employees , horrible quality, horrible communication, horrible customer service. The owner will not face you when there's issues he will hide and ignore you. They are not even paying their subcontractors. They will take your money and disappear. Very soon they will be out of business there's no chance they will be open for business much longer they way they run their business. Take the bad reviews seriously for your own sake. with all honesty i believe even 1 star is too good for this company... Like,,, how the heck do this company still operating and staying in business... This company is horrible, unreliable, zero credibility and zero work ethics... My fiancé and I hired them in August small 2 bedroom house and this is January 1st and they are yet to finish the job... They owe us money, giving us the run-around, not answering our phone calls. My fiance went to their office since they were not answering his calls, they literally closed the door in his face, We have video proof of this encounter. They told us they would come and finish the job but as of now they are a No SHOW We would never hire them for anything ever again, Nor would we recommend them to anyone. To make it worse ,,, my fiance like to take his time and shop around to find the right person/ company who he feels would best suit him but because I was there and I liked how he sold and delivered his pitch. This guy was so patient and came off so honest. I believed in him and convinced my fiance to go with him... We were completely fooled,,, Do not let them draw you in with their sweet and fake honesty... it is all a lie... Empty promises... All they want is for that contract to be signed... Overview: We hired them to redo our roof inclusive of our skylight in May 2021. We were left with a year of trying to resolve a leak amidst a very rainy and stormy summer. After consulting with another veteran roofing company locally, we discovered why the job that was done left us with a leaking skylight for over a year and required more money and work to be done in the end. After the completion of their job, we ended up having to hire another company who helped identify the problem, assess next steps and helped us FIX the issue....one year later. Conclusion: I would not recommend them. Full Background: Since we moved into our home we had a leaking issue by our fireplace. After receiving a number of quotes my husband went with Northkit based on their responsiveness, and reasonable pricing. 5/10/2021: The job was done in a quick and painless fashion. We had our whole roof replaced plus a special ordered skylight replaced. Satisfied customers, happy company, paid in full. 5/26/2021: First Documentation of leaking Contacted Northkit who responded immediately and tarped the skylight until the company came back to determine leaking origin. It was determined they would have to reorder the skylight and replace it in order to fix the leak. June 2021-June 2022 The leaking continued. As with all things during the pandemic, the wait time for reordering a new skylight was pretty extensive. Balancing time and necessity we were told the skylight leak would be managed if they applied a sealant but the would void the warranty of the skylight. Their solution did not in fact solve the problem. The next company we used even said it wasn't how it should have been fixed, and have since replaced the skylight and reinstalled it properly. Through the remainder of the summer into fall we noted the leak, shared videos and photos, as well as said to proceed with the new skylight order. Not only were we ghosted but we were treated as if WE were a burden to THEM. We have remained nothing but professional and persistent for good reason OUR ROOF WAS LEAKING. After many attempts and no responses, we ended up contracting another roofing company who was able to assess and solve the problem through appropriate installation of a new skylight and shared with us notes on what was done incorrectly the first time around. As of today 6/13/22 OVER ONE YEAR LATER, lots of grief, and so many calls, emails and rainy days praying my kids wouldn't get rained on... we now have a NON LEAKING roof with a functional skylight that is no longer covered by a tarp! Sorry for this insanely long recap, but I think it's very important for folks to understand the stress we were under especially during the pandemic home with little ones having to essentially fight for a service we paid for to be properly completed. read more

Their salespeople are hired from a third party. Quote was totally different than what we discussed. I could not comment on the quality of their workmanship as I would never have given them the job. Totally unprofessional and disorganized. I have heard some people had good experiences, but I would stay far away from them. They kept pushing financing for a very small job... I hate to post a negative review, but..... Northkit did my roof and all seemed fine. But later when heavy rains started it became clear they put my gutters back sloppily. One gutter piece is missing entirely. I called numerous times, left messages and texts begging them to come and replace. They never called me back. Once they promised to come and fix. Nothing happened. Here I am months later and I will have to go to another contractor and probably spend $200. read more

Initial call and presentation was great. However when the time came to discuss numbers, it was all high pressure sales tactics. Guy had to go outside to call boss for a better number two times. Further he said I had to agree that same night and would not even give me the weekend. He said if I called back a few days later it would be more expensive. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! We hired Northkit to replace our roof in November 2022. Vaughn, whom we had never met, came to pick up a deposit check of 50%. When my husband asked for a receipt, he looked surprised and said he'd email him something. They came and completed the job. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed. The roof line on the side of our house is an inverted V. On one side the singles are flush with the roof line, on the other they hang over. Simple fix you'd think. The gutter on the front of our house must have been stepped on or something, crushed and left not fully attached to the house. We have brown gutters and eaves, they used white trim. No one asked what color trim we'd prefer. We assumed (how dumb of us!) that they would match the gutters and eaves. I have never seen any house done this way! They also left nails all over our driveway. My husband and I were left picking up nails so we didn't get nails in our tires. Here's the most interesting part! When they did the back roof (a flat roof), they managed to hit the studs and now the nailheads in the ceiling, in both our bedroom and bathroom, pushed through. How does that even happen!!! All these issues could have been resolved easily. We weren't even able to withhold the remainder of the payment. We received an email from the finance company stating the job was completed and the company was paid on the day they finished. My husband has left repeated voicemails and texts to Vaughn, the owner and Bryant ,their salesperson . NO REPLY AT ALL!! This company does not care about their customers, or obviously, their reputation. They're in and out, paid and DISAPPEAR!! read more

I used Northkit roofing to replace my old roof with a new one. The team is the worst, most unprofessional team when it comes to communicating with clients. My main contact was Vaughn. He gave me his word that the work will be 100% covered by my insurance.(he shouldn't have promised anything). That was the main reason why I picked them. He then went back and forth with the insurance and convinced me to sign for the financing of the remaining balance until he finalize everything with the insurance. ( he told me that it will take no more than 30 days for me to receive the check) . He also promised to install a piece of the roof framing that was off. Frankie came and picked up the piece, again promising to come back and install it within a week. That never happened. It's been 4 months already, and I'm still trying to get in touch with Vaughn, Frank or Joe. I've been calling every week, sent txt messages to Frank I even emailed them and they didn't even bother to answer any of my calls and explain what the heck happened. I am a human being I can try to understand whatever their excuse is but they are being so unprofessional and childish about the whole situation. Like they all disappeared once I signed the financing paperwork. I will not recommend this Company. You might think twice before choosing them. I hired Northkit Roofing in March 2022 to replace my roof of 16 years that has been leaking. Joe turned up with Computer in hand ran my credit reprt and told me I have been approved for $18,500.00. I was happy to solve my leaking issues once for all. Then Vaughan Blehl the owner called and told me I do not have to rip the roof up that he could do a commercial coating that he assured me will definitely work he also me a warranty extension from 15 years to 20 years by this time the financing company Sunlight Financing had run my credit and had approved me for $22,500.00 @15% when I enquired why the rate is so high? They said they no control. Bottom line my roof is leaking worse and in places it was not leaking before which they are aware off because they came in an put down a tarp that was the last I saw of them despite numerous calls and emails. I WAS CONNED BY THESE THIEVES. They come to our neighborhoods con us then run home and disappear. I have no protection from my town or officials. Its feels like they are allowed to harm me Check your contracts thorougly before u sign too. What good is a 20 year warranty if you don't pick up your phone in the first3 months? The worse part the leaking was so bad Section 8 cut off my rental payments causing me increase loss of income they knew too. They robbed me and my family, BEWARE!! read more

Had Northkit roofing replace the entire roof on a home I recently purchased. Vaughn went above and beyond to get me the estimate quickly. He answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable. His estimate was very fair and explained all that was going to be done. Once all the paperwork was signed Vaughn sent over my information to his business partner Frankie who handled scheduling and the rest of the job. The job was booked within a week and was finished in 1 day. Frankie spent most of the day on the job site and made sure everything went smoothly. At the time of writing this review it has been 5 weeks since the job was complete and many heavy rainstorms and as you would expect with any good job no issues at all not even a drop of water.
