I want to mention the terrible service provided by one of the bakery employees. Last week, I went…read morethere with a family member, and we asked the person working there--a tall, fair-skinned young woman who was packing up some platters--if she could give us one of the ones she was working on. She replied very rudely, with a bad attitude, saying no because they were for the next day. However, there was another worker there--a very kind blonde woman--who approached my family member and gave us the platter we needed. We asked for a few other things, and she was never rude to us; on the contrary, I want to commend her for providing excellent service, unlike her rude and unpleasant coworker who failed to deliver good customer service. I asked for the name of the young woman who treated us poorly so I could report her, and I was told her name is Jade; the other, very kind blonde woman is named Orisia. She truly provides great customer service--kudos to her.

I travel 45 min to shop…read morehere and about two miles from the store entrance my low tire pressure warning light came on. By the time I parked my tire was flat. They were completely booked for the day but Rob, Nic and Larry said they would take a look at it. In less than an hour they had put on my spare and I was ready to roll. They charged me ZERO even though I had not purchased the original tire from them. Also refused a tip. I know this job was aggravating because they had to remove my many coolers to get to the spare tire but they told me "Don't worry about it." So, I made sure to share my good experience with the store mgr and told him I would post review here. This senior gal is so grateful these guys squeezed me into their busy day. I have had nothing but positive experiences at this Costco in the 13 yrs I've shopped there. The staff (in store, gas attendants and tire center) are always friendly and helpful despite the crowds that frequent this store.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably frustrating that others…read moredeserve to know what they're getting into. I'm an avid BJs customer. Love the prices and selection. The Whippany store has a hot dog and soda below $2. Such a value! The gas is always the best price too. So when I needed tires, I went straight to their Tire Service Shop. I was told my tire service would take 60 to 90 minutes maximum. THREE HOURS later, I got my car. The delays were entirely avoidable. An hour into the process, an attendant informed me that they couldn't find the wheel lock key in my glove box. Nobody asked me about it when I arrived. Instead, they wasted an hour before bothering to communicate the problem. Here's the kicker: After they lowered my vehicle and removed from garage, I personally opened the glove box and found the key exactly where they claimed to have looked. I probably get my tires changed once every 5 to 10 years. The staff here is changing tires for three cars every hour. I would expect a little more communication on best practices to be efficient and provide ahead of time. I gave the key to the attendant in under a minute. Despite arriving first and 15 minutes before my appointment, I watched them service TWO other vehicles ahead of mine at this point. The complete lack of communication and customer service was frustrating. This wasn't some complicated mechanical issue. It was a straightforward tire service made unnecessarily difficult. Nearly three hours for a 90-minute service, two customers taken ahead of me, and a missing key that was never actually missing. That's not bad luck. That's bad management and worse service. Save yourself the aggravation. Take your business somewhere that values your time and knows how to serve customers at their tire shop. Again, the big box store and gas station meets or exceeds expectations.

It's small but I was impressed by their selection of Jamaican goods. We were able to find Betta curry powder and Maggi's all purpose seasoning. They didn't have Ram it up which is a curry goat booster. The employee was helpful and offered to order it immediately. He said in the future to call ahead to see if they have a certain product. If not, he could always order it. If you live or work close by, I definitely recommend the Real Caribbean wholesale for all your Caribbean products.

While their gasoline is substantially cheaper than the gas stations around my area, I also grocery shop at Costco for selected items. On this trip I picked up a package of St. Louis ribs ($4.29 lb.), a package of Colossal Shrimp ($9.99 lb. and a cheesecake which I particularly enjoy (4.5 lbs. for $19.99). My son was coming over for Father's Day and my propane grill has been buzzing since early April. Many of the grocery items are bulk purchases, clothing, electronics, alcoholic beverages, and so much more are available. The aisles are wide, the meat and seafood is extraordinary and the gasoline price can't be beat. The membership cost is a small fraction of what you save at Costco Wholesale. The one star deduction because the gasoline lines can be long and the store can get crowded.

This store seems newer as well and they have so much more products than Teterboro. They also have the dining area with their famous pizza and hot dog. I also found the pho boxes I was looking for and the prices were cheaper than online. I also bought a 750 ml bottle of Bartenura Moscato for only $12. Found my favorite mango rasmalai in the store as well. I was so elated to see this store having self checkout lane with about 6 kiosks. That is such a relief as I didn't have to wait in line only to scan and pay for couple of items. I also went to the Customer service to return few items and the staff member was super helpful, processed the return in couple of minutes.
