Perfect size to walk your dog for a couple or a few laps around the inner perimeter. The paths are all lined with bark and well maintained-no muddy puppies in the car. People are good about picking up their dog's poop. There's enough room to let your dog off its leash so it can play. Have only had one experience with an aggressive dog off its leash and an ignorant owner not controlling his animal.

What a great place to take your pup! This off-leash area is just lovely. There are trails for the dogs to run through, with more open areas scattered here and there for the dogs to play. It is well maintained, but still retains that wild feel. There are PLENTY of benches for human and dog alike to perch on, and throughout the whole area there are plastic bag dispensers for picking up poop (in case you forgot yours). There's a water pump with a large dish right at the entrance to the park, and you'll find pups lapping up the fresh water, or getting cooled off under the pump. The people here are very laid back, they all seem to keep their dogs under reasonable control, and everyone is responsible and cleans up after their pets. All in all a great place to bring your pupsters. I look forward to going back!

Great off leash dog park! It is clean and not too big. I have a small Pom so Marymoor is a little overwhelming. The park is mapped out like a track and has a weaving trail. Makes for a nice walk for the owners too. It's easy to get too and you don't need a discovery pass to park.

This dog park is awesome! Its so refreshing and woodsy and it's set up really well. There are tons of trails to walk around and let your dog explore, yet it's not big enough for your dog to get lost. It's stress free and very enjoyable! My dog had a great time and the dogs he met were great to play with. Really impressed!! There are also wood chips laid out instead of everywhere just being dirt so it doesn't get as muddy either!

Nice area. It's more of a forested fenced maze to walk through. Not much room for dogs to chase balls and really run.

Here's the thing - I don't like dog parks in general. I think they are a hotbed of bad behavior (human and dog) and pretty risky all around. Dogwood is different. The rules are enforced - (look at the other ratings, the negative ones are from ages ago. Maybe they improved?) - there are staff and "regulars" all over the place, keeping eyes on behavior and monitoring sizes, barking, play, etc. They require spay/neuter, which automatically helps keep things calmer. Being able to grab a cider and a snack and watch my pup play is SO cool! The people (guests and staff) were friendly, and more importantly, so were the dogs! Max made some great friends, and his energy was appreciated and not scolded! (He's not quite two. He's energetic, but not aggressive or reactive.) They request that people not bring treats or personal toys into the play area, and this really does cut down on resource guarding and similar behavior. They told me they wash/sterilize the balls every night, and that made me feel good. This is Max's new favorite place!! My partner and I plan on at least once/week outings here!!!!

One thing we noticed was a couple of smaller dogs wanting to instigate, but the staff was very proactive on noticing the behaviors and acting on them. The last time I did this my Apple Watch said I had climbed what is equivalent to 22 flights of stairs. The final stretch is steep and your legs will definitely know that you earned the view. The beautiful flowers and trees also make the walk worth it during the spring and summer months. There is a nice resting area at the top. I am also happy to now see snack vendors setting up here because a cold drink really helps before walking back down. As someone who lives in the area I would not drive up. Street parking is limited and always seems to be full. The hunt for parking might become its own workout. I am not sure if it is officially part of the park but there is also a playground for kids a few sets of steps downhill. Do not forget to walk over to Parsons Gardens to see the flowers during the summer. You should also stop at Marshall Park for views of Elliott Bay and the cruise ships on a clear day. The walk along the West Queen Anne retaining walls also offers beautiful scenic views. Kerry Park is a must visit in Seattle. It is also a great local walk to enjoy with your dog friends.

Everything is fenced, which makes it easy to relax and let your dog enjoy some freedom. One of our favorite features is the dog beach, where the dogs can access the water and play. Whenever we come to Seattle with our dog, we make a point to stop here. It's such a great place to spend a few hours and let your dog really enjoy themselves. The park itself is huge and has other recreational areas to explore, but we usually stick to the off-leash area and dog beach. We absolutely love this spot and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle with their dog!

Magnuson off leash park is HUGE to put it simply. There are few gates to enter into, one of which is right near the "small" dog section of the dog park which is nice the other entrances lead to a huge field mixed with grass but is mostly dirt. At the entrance are some hoses to hydrate the dogs or hose them down quickly before entering of leaving. On really hot days I'll spray my pup quickly to cool him down. From there, there is another little area not as big as the main area, but there are some additional benches and is a bit more secluded than the main. The main area has a little info board, lost and found and a covering with a table and bench so you can set things down if need be. There is a path that's maybe 0.5 mile walk that leads to the main attraction here, a nice little cove of water where the pups can go jump in the water. It's great. My pup is a tri-pawd and doesn't really swim but does like the water. There is a nice long running mat that leads into the water. It lets him gradually get into the water and it is such a thoughtful addition there. I find the people at this area are generally nice and have had pleasant visits each time here. Best Off leash area I've visited thus far.

For the most part, we haven't run into any issues bringing our senior pup here (he's a chihuahua beagle mix) and he does well meeting all the other dogs and people. Over summer - the dog park can get pretty smelly. I think it's from those hose/water run off but there have been some days where it smelled kind of gross so we left. Also, always watch your pup around the drinking bowl and run the water to make sure it's fresh and not stagnant or contaminated! This set up reminds me of the one by Amazon, just a lot larger while still being only a mid to small sized dog park. Dog parks come in so many sizes. Every time I stop by there are many people with their dogs. My dog always has a good time playing. I like that this place isn't so large that my dog runs off in places I can't see. I can see my dog from anywhere in here with plenty of running room for all the pets and their owners. Nice job on this one. Probably the best dog park in the area based on size, offerings, and cleanliness. There isn't a bunch of dirt or gravel like many of the dog parks so your dog will stay relatively clean. Huge bonus in my opinion. I avoid many parks because my dog immediately gets so dirty.
