TD put the checks on hold, which they legally can do and I have no problem with. I met with Sheryl yo see how long the hold woukd be. She pulled-up my account and told me she could see the checks were deposited, cleared and I had spent the money. No matter how I attempted to explain to her and basic math would have shown that I had not spent the money. I left frustrated and feeling belittled, called customer service and they were able to quickly see the money eas in fact just on hold, not spent and gave me a date of availability. The CS agent called her while I was on hold explained the situation to her and still claimed I had spent the money.

I had the worst experience, I had made a deposit in cash, the teller counts the money on the machine a couple of times, and he told me I was short of money, I told him to give me my money back, I counted it, and I was missing money. I have asked the Assistant Manager to balance the teller's money and she just checked his computer she did not count his money to make sure he balanced. I have requested the video when the teller was counting my money to the assistant manager, branch manager, reginal and district manager, I was told they cannot show me the video. I am very frustrated; I trusted this branch with my money and in front of my face my money disappears and now the bank does not want to help me by showing me the video. Also, in the past I had made a cash deposit and the teller told me I was missing money, I told the teller to give me my cash back and I counted it, and I found the missing money. It seems that tellers are used to telling customers they are missing money, when making cash deposits. This branch cannot be trusted.

I have to say this is the third time Rosemary has helped me and whether it was question or an issue, it was her mannerism and professionalism I encountered every time and was taken by... I have to say the customer service in this branch is simply exceptional.... I have always dealt with Felisha and MaryEllen who are so caring and always go above and beyond for me and will spend as much time needed to resolve any issues even if it meant staying late. They are truly genuine and I adore both of them. It's not often you find a small local branch where everyone including tellers, customer service , managers etc.....know and value you... They all call me by my first name and greet me upon entrance and I now know why the bank is so well run and so professionally managed....... and that is because they take after their manager Rosemary.......

If you hate it when your bank cares about you and expedited sending out a replacement bank card. Then go to north shore bank where you need to go into the brick and mortar store to get your new card. Also if you enjoy being treated like an annoying pest then deal with any of the women in the bank at any time. Make sure you don't interrupt them when they are taking to each other though.

Even though it's no longer the tiny co-op it was 25 years ago, the subsequent buyers have managed to maintain the small-town feel that makes banking here so easy. Shout out to Jacki at the Brimbal Ave branch and Wilson at the Cabot St branch, who have always been 100% professional and helpful during every interaction, but honestly I have never had a bad experience with an employee here.

Checked back next day, machine was fixed but they wouldn't print it that day because they had already done it at other branch...but were not going to send it until the next day? So they basically waited 3 days to send me my card, meanwhile zero help with their online banking app. Zero instruction about what the account features, rules and such were either. All around absolutely terrible customer service which is what I was looking for in a local bank. Will be closing this account as soon as possible and staying with online banking since their service is so shoddy

I love how they eagle watch my checking account, always on the alert for suspicious activity and immediately notifying me when there is such activity. I've used all types of financial institutions during my life time, I've never had such a comforting sense of individualized and personal customer care from any bank I've ever used. The staff at this bank just knows how to make you feel like you're part of their family. Always offering great advice on handling your personal finances and expediently delivering on everything they commit to. It's a small, privately run establishment but, like they say, big things do come in small packages. And here's a true testament to that: Just 9 days ago, I lost my pride and joy pup, Riley, to a hit and run driver. We had just gotten back from a 1/2 day in the woods playing all kinds of fun doggy games. In an instant he was taken from me. Since Riley was 9 weeks old, he use to go to The Savings Bank with me whenever I was making bank deposits. He just loved everyone there because they were all over him, spoiling him with tasty treats and lots of praises. When they all heard about Riley's demise, each and every one of them stopped what they were doing and came to me to console me with heartfelt sympathy and genuine empathy only found in the deepest of kind souls. Starting from the top, Maria, the branch manager, who has professionally and watchfully guided me out of potentially financial devastation. She's real, she's honest, and she's down to earth. Love her! Then there's Elizabeth, the Accounts manager. The same as Maria, sincere, sweet, and genuinely concerned about the welfare and security of your account(s). I recently had the privilege of running into Elizabeth and her awesome beau at a restaurant. We all sat together and enjoyed great memories of Riley and shared many wonderful personal stories. A great bonding experience! There's a gentleman there named Matt B. This guy can light up a stadium with his warm, genuine personality. Matt is never anything but right-on with his professionalism, compliments, impeccable manners, and jovial disposition. He runs deep and, for a young guy in his early 20's, exhibits great promise for a very bright future. The teller, Despenza (hope I spelled that right!), is yet another teller who is spot on with superb customer service. Sweet, loving, and down-to-earth, just like they all are. All the other employees there always smile at me and wave from a distance. That's just how they all run, and it's awesomely warming to go there on a weekly basis. Not being a big corporate bank has a lot of merit. You might give up a few perks the big banks offer but, in return, you get the best attention to your financial needs on a very personal level, they never treat you like just a number , they work with you, not against you, and, the most important, they're always watching your back, and you can't help but notice the pride they take in doing so.
