I like that the bank appears extra clean and well kept. I like the fact that the drive thru is large and has easy access. I do not like that they refused to put money in my daughters account because I did not know her debit card number. I have been to different TD Branches and they had no problem doing such, actually they were very pleased to assist me. I wasted a good 20 minutes waiting to locate my daughter debit card number for no reason at all. FYI,,,,,,, I WAS GIVING YOU MONEY.....NOT TAKING IT!!!!!! For my experience there I give a Solid 2 Stars.

I got to the bank at around 415-420 and was suprised that they was still waiting for me with a smile! The revere branch is very professional and attentive. Revere branch does not charge you for a new debit card, yet the lynn branch will. Hours are not bad, not open on sundays.

I was there today, and the customer service is bad, I went to change my card because it was broken…read moreand I specified that I wanted my same number because I have several pending payments, the person who works there MAYA RIVAS changed all my number and told me that I could not have the same one because it was not possible, later I called to confirm if it was true and they tell me that if it is possible, you can change the card and keep the same number, so Miss MAYA RIVAS gave me very bad service, I hope that when other people go they treat them better and try to solve what they are going and not to make it worse.

The machine that does this on the shoggest location has been broke over a year. I have to assume the only reason they can't fix it. I won't fix it is because they can't make money on it. Every time I go in, they act like it just happened. Bad enough they Charge $12 to have an account per month. And then the one service you need from them they can't provide.

I can't speak to loans as I never took one from here. But the online/app/distant ATM experience has been increasingly frustrating for the last year or two. "Upgrade" should always be used in quotation marks no matter the business, but the bugs are ridiculous and this time around there's been no response to two requests to fix things. I no longer live in MA, but for the first year or so in my new neighborhood (and all over the country and the world), ATMs worked fine. Then in summer 2019, they (literally) overnight started rejecting transactions. The explanation was that the machines (not supported by Metro) didn't have the right security features, but they had the day before, so...? And this latest upgrade is so far not horrible, but at least two regular monthly transactions have changed or been dropped and I'm guessing my emails are waiting in a queue somewhere. Not worth it anymore.

Metro contacted me and told me I needed flood insurance. I purchased $70,000 in flood insurance. I got a letter from them that they accepted my insurance at the amount I purchased. Banking rules and FEMA rules both state that financial institutions cannot make you purchase more insurance than you could owe them. A year later Metro contacted me and told me I needed to purchase $500,000 in flood insurance. I sent them copies of the banking rules. They didn't care. I asked to speak to the underwriters that made this change. They refused to let me speak to anyone with authority over this unfair business practice. While I was trying to work with them they purchased the $500,000 policy at my expense. I had no choice but to refinance with another credit union who confirmed there was no need to purchase more than I owed them. I believe Metro intentionally forced me out because mortgage rates had risen to 7% and they weren't making enough profit on me. Unfair business practices against banking rules. I was with them for over 10 years. Beware of this institution, they are crooks. I'd rate them -10 if I could.

Some people are just miserable and rude. I like to go to this bank because it's the closest one to me but i guess I'm take the extra half hour ride elsewhere because every encounter i have had here has been HORRIBLE.
