My beloved Lexus

I have owned my Lexus since 2017 & I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The service here is by far the best service I have ever received from any dealership in my life. My service advisor is Oliver & from the day we met his number one priority has been to make sure we are happy with the job that is done on my car. Also, he is always in a good mood. In the world today, that's rare! He gets back to me immediately when I have questions. He goes above & beyond every visit. I honestly will never buy another car other than Lexus bc there's no reason to! Oliver & Lexus are the best! As a matter of fact, we love my car so much that 3 years ago we bought another Lexus for my husband. We get all of the maintenance done with Oliver at Lexus & it is always done perfectly! The cherry on top is Janette in the Service Dept. She makes scheduling appointments so easy. She is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met! She even changed out the batteries on my key fob for me. Oh! Last but not least I love that at Lexus I can pop in for a car wash & a drink. Maria is always so sweet! She makes me a dirty chai latte to die for! (If ya' know what I mean!) Everyone at this dealership is fantastic! I'm sure I am forgetting someone but I'll save them for my next review!

My husband and I finally had to break down and get another car. We were looking for a Toyota Grand Highlander but found the one we wanted here. After we expressed interest on a website, we were messaged by Greg who let us know it was available and that we could come in for a test drive. It was late but we went in anyway and we were very warmly greeted by the front reception desk staff. We own a Lexus and had been here before so we knew to head to the cafe area while waiting for Greg to be free to talk to us. It had been years since we had been in this dealership but the cookies and drinks were still very good. Greg and his assistant James worked with us and after test driving the vehicle, and waiting a few days, we returned and bought the car. We returned on a Saturday, which is a very busy day at most dealerships, and despite it once again being kind of late, both Greg and James took the time to make sure we understood everything we needed to know about the car. So far, we've been very pleased with our purchase and the customer service we received!!

Bought a new 2024 Lexus GX from North Park Lexus. Why 3 stars? The $83k SUV was dirty inside and out and delivered with interior damage likely from North Park's detailers that applied the unnecessary and unwanted protective coatings. I'll provide more details infra. But when a dealer can't deliver a new car that costs $83k clean and undamaged, something is fundamentally wrong. Sales service: Franko was a great salesman. He brought a new GX to our home for us to test drive. Franko was easy to work with and a nice guy. Negotiation process: Buyer beware if you want a new GX. Right now you can't get a GX the way you want it. It's a hot car, and it's a take it or leave it approach with most dealers, including North Park. Expect sticker bloat including nonsense dealer options and port installed options. North Park really bloated the ticket with totally overpriced nitrogen at $299 (go to Costco and nitrogen fills for all your tires is only $12 total) and a stupid protective coating package. Total sticker bloat! But that's the free market, and we knew that at the start of the process. Trade in: First offer was a total insult. We said deal is off and requested our deposit back. Manager eventually came out and provided a better but not great trade in on our pristine 2019 Toyota. Delivery of the car: Horrible job! Both the exterior and interior needed cleaning. We pointed this out when we picked the GX, and our critique was brushed off. Instead of listening, our salesman overlooked obvious dirt on the exterior (all over) and said it was beautiful. Also, the interior was horrible! Windows and the LCD screen were covered in a difficult to remove oily residue. The seats had an oily residue. Also, some protective plastic from the factory was left on interior parts. We spent 3 hours cleaning just the interior the day we bought our GX. North Park needs to go up to Sewell Lexus in Dallas and get schooled in how to prep a car for delivery! And then we discovered interior damage, likely from North Park's second rate shop that applied the overpriced protective coating package. North Park immediately agreed to fix the damage, but time is money. Perhaps North Park Lexus' standards have been eroded by all the publicity about Tesla delivering dirty Cyber Trucks. I'd love to hear North Park's perspective on this complaint. In contrast to my negative feedback in this review, see my reviews on Yelp of Sewell Lexus. Sewell Lexus in Dallas knows both customer service and how to properly deliver a car. Finance department and closing: Since we did not require financing, we told the manager in advance that we would spend no more than one hour in the purchase process. Goal was achieved without any upselling or time wasting. Taylor in the finance was very professional. Kudos to North Park's on this point.

Came by to get my car washed and only had to wait about 30 minutes. Always love visiting the coffee shop and getting a latte, popcorn, and the sugar cookies! The service is excellent as always!

I recently purchased my car from North Park and I was welcomed with such hospitality! It was my first big girl purchase and Brian, Brittany and the whole time made my experience seamless. They listened to my wants and concerns and worked to get the best car for me. And I loved the gift! I highly recommend them.

I had been working with Sales Specialist, Dan Scheible, since mid August to find the perfect NX 250 I was looking for. He met with me multiple times and let me test drive any vehicle I wanted. Never made me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience to him. He was able to find me the exact NX250 I was looking for so I placed the $500.00 holding fee. I waited almost two months for this vehicle and never cancelled. The vehicle was finally ready on Oct 14, 2024 and in typical Dan fashion, he was ready for me when I arrived. He was always transparent with the pricing and even had the vehicle bow wrapped when I arrived. He let me test drive it before we went inside to speak with the Financing department. This is where my experience took a turn. Up until that moment that I stepped in the finance department my experience with Lexus was a 10/10. The woman that they have in the finance department was accommodating at first until I expressed my unwillingness to lease a 50k vehicle for 1k a month while being in what Lexus calls Tier 1- credit. Once the negotiating began, and my significant other left the room, she began to make inappropriate comments regarding my finances. No one in their right mind should be willing to pay 1k a month for the next 72 months on a 50k car.... regardless of their financial standing. After attempting to negotiate, it was clear that the dealership was not willing to compromise on the deal (although I waited 2 months for this specific vehicle and was a guarenteed buyer). After leaving her office upset, I met with Dan and apologized. I really wanted the vehicle and I really wanted to make the sale for him to thank him for all his help. But after my experience with the finance department, I left disinterested and without my dream NX250. UPDATE: GM, Taylor Atkins, gave me a call shortly after my review and we were able to discuss my experience and he went the extra step to right a wrong. We negotiated my contract with his and Dan's help. They made the sale and I LOVE my new car! I want to personally thank them and Andrew for all of their help.

Sloppy work. Went in on a Friday and took 1 hour and 50 min for an oil change.

An oil change took 1 hour and 50 min. Was told it would take one hour that's why they refused me and others to give loaners. For a text after 1 hr and 44 min that my car is now being worked on, a video 2 min later and then a text my car is ready? Sloppy work on the car wash.

While Ms. Chanti was assisting me, she noticed there was a recall on my vehicle related to an issue I had already experienced before the recall was officially posted. She took the time to explain how I could contact Honda and possibly be reimbursed for the repair -- which was a significant amount and greatly appreciated. She also informed me about an updated part that needed to be installed, and the team completed that while finishing my routine maintenance. In a short amount of time, everything was completed and my vehicle was fully updated. I was extremely impressed with everyone's professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. The free coffee, comfortable waiting area, and outdoor seating were also a nice touch. The team at Gunn Honda is outstanding, and I always look forward to having a positive experience there. Special thanks to Ms. Chanti for truly going above and beyond for the customers.

Good customer service & communication keeps returning customers happy.

Cavender Toyota - My beautiful Sienna!

My experience with Cavender Toyota on my latest purchase was good overall. The bottom line is that…read moreI am very happy with the car that I purchased and feel like I got a competitive rate, especially considering some of the incentives in their pre-owned program. There were a couple of bumps in the process that I consider typical when purchasing a car at a traditional dealership. I initially set my appointment up with Francisco Berrios. After learning that I was interested in looking at pre-owned cars, he turned me over to Zach Drysdale, who was more familiar with the pre-owned inventory. Zach was the salesman who handled the primary points of the sales process. He did a good job of listening to the features that I was looking for in my purchase and helped guide me to some of their options including some special incentives on new cars that he thought I should consider. I still leaned toward pre-owned. The dealership had given me a nice, competitive offer on my used Camry and I had a specific price point in mind that I communicated. I was primarily interested in staying with a Camry model, but was interested in looking at a hybrid model. I was somewhat hesitant, but Zach was able to give me some data and personal testimony that eased my mind. After test-driving a couple of cars we sat down to discuss the price. I made an offer and, as is typical, he went to get an okay. We had settled on an amount, but Zach said that the offer could be applied to a different car than the one that I drove, although it was the same year and model, and seemed to be almost identical except for the color. I never did understand why the deal worked with that car instead of the car that I had driven. It didn't appear to be significantly different in any aspect and I actually liked the color better. Zach didn't seem to know of any other feature differences either. But this and the next steps were a bit confusing and could have made me step away from the deal. Part of the issue was due to my schedule. I had to put the deal on hold because I had a commitment, and I explained that I would be able to come back the following day. Francisco had returned and another gentleman who I assume was an upper manager who gives the final okay in settling on the deal came to speak to me. He made an offer $100 above what I had tentatively signed for-- and thought the deal was for. This was quite confusing because I had thought the price had already been established. He put a little pressure on me to stay and finish the deal. I explained clearly that I was simply out of time and could not finish the process that afternoon. So, I left and Francisco assured me that the car would still be there for me when I came back the next day. When I came back the next day, the price was indeed a little more than I had signed for, but as I said up front, I felt like it was still a good deal. It was a 2026 pre-owned car, with a pre-owned price, with only around 30 miles on it. I had seen '24 and '25 Camry hybrids at other lots that had a couple of thousand miles on them for about the same price. So even though there were some negative points in the process, I felt like the deal was competitive and I'm very happy with the car that I purchased so far. As long as it doesn't give me problems, I'll be happy with it for a long time, but that's why I usually buy Toyotas. Zach and Francisco were good to deal with, but as I say, Zach was my primary salesperson for most of the process. By the way, the financial officer who took me through the paperwork process, Ricky Rodriguez, was a delight to work with.

Terrible Experience - They Talked Themselves Out of a $68,000 Sale…read moreI walked into this dealership ready to buy and had a pristine 2020 Nissan Rogue to trade in. Unfortunately, the sales team completely blew the deal. They refused to offer anything more than the absolute cash value on my trade-in. I understand dealerships need to make money on trades, but I don't need a lecture about it. My job was to bring them a quality vehicle; their job was to figure out how to make a profit. I was willing to move forward, but their rigid "take it or leave it" stance made it clear I was better off walking. When I told the salesman I was leaving, he literally said, "Go ahead and walk away." So I did. I got in my Rogue and left without looking back. Later that evening around 7 PM, the salesman texted me asking if I had ended up buying a car yet. The very next day, I went to another dealership. They immediately offered me $13,000 on the trade (significantly more than what was offered here), knocked $1,500 off the price, and didn't push any dealer add-ons. I drove away happy in my new vehicle on May 1st with zero hassle. This dealership single-handedly lost a $68,000 sale because they wouldn't budge even slightly on the trade-in. If you're trading in a vehicle and expect fair value, look elsewhere. Very disappointed. They did turn the super loud music down. It was bothering me very badly by the time I came back in to talk to the guys so that was a plus at least they thought about me for a little bit then, as soon as I start walking away, the music got turned right back up, so that was kind of disrespectful.
