This business must be running well until me. I called for a garage door replacement 2 months ago, owner asked me for 1k down to order the door, so I did. Then he never showed up at the scheduled time, stopped replying my calls and messages. It took me lawyer to get him back in touch and now we are sparing time each week trying to chase our money back. The owner is full of excuses and lies. 1k is not a small amount to any family, certainly not to mine. I'd recommend you stop using this firm if you had in the past, and do not use them if you never did. read more

I've been so impressed by Rob at North Metro Garage. I found him 4 or 5 years ago via yelp and he's saved me on several occasions, at several homes. (Once even after hours in a snow storm!) He's always been quick with getting to our appointment and always on time. He is knowledgeable and honest, and has always offered multiple options for repair vs replace. His prices are reasonable and he's easy to work with over the phone. read more

Robert came out very last minute and fixed our garage in 30 minutes! Will keep his number handy! Thanks Robert! read more

Great Service, quick response, reasonable cost. I had a spring break on my overhead door and called North Metro to get an estimate. They were able to quote me over the phone by asking a few easy questions. They scheduled service for the next morning arrived on time and got the work done quickly. He even through in a few extra small services to get things working better. 100% recommended for garage door service. read more

Garage snagged on my front bumper/plate, which may have caused door to get a little crooked. It got worse over time, until it got stuck yesterday. Had North Metro out in 2019 for a door issue as well. This time, and that time were both quick and easy. Painless scheduling, friendly service, and clear explanation of what he thought may have happened. Fixed it all up pretty quick. Back to operating correctly. 5 Stars Service! read more

My daughter's garage door would not open. I called North Metro (Rob) and mentioned the issue. Since I was 10 min from her house, I stated I would call him back with what I saw. There was only one spring on the garage door and it was broken (Homeowner NOTE: You should have two springs on your door in case one does break. Then you can at least open the garage door to get your car out. I had 2 when one of my springs broke and I could still get the door open. I also had both replaced since it really did not cost much more) I called Rob and stated it was a broken spring and that there was only one spring. He stated he would be there in an hour as he needed to get some supplies. He showed up on time with two springs and put everything together in under an hour...includes my casual chatting. Rob also noticed the top panel of the door had a crack in it and it would not have long to go. He put up some angle iron to secure the crack until a fix could be made. Great response, great service, great guy, good prices. What a value. My daughter will be using him to replace the top panel and he will be my go-to for any future garage door/opener needs. Thanks Rob! read more

Rob was very helpful! Responsive, patient and willing to save his customers time and money. He immediately picked up my phone call and helped me diagnose my garage problem over the phone FREE OF CHARGE. Who does that nowadays? I will definitely go back to Rob if my garage door starts acting up again. Support a local, veteran owned business by contacting Rob for all your garage service needs. read more

I had an issue with my garage door and needed an expert. Robert came over at the agreed time, got the door working again, but the actual opener had a mechanical problem. He got the necessary parts, came back the next day, and fixed everything. I definitely recommend hiring Robert if you have any garage door needs. read more

My garage door spring broke Friday afternoon, and I contacted Robert after seeing great reviews here on Yelp. He answered the phone and asked me to send over my information via text as he was in the middle of a job. I did, and we made plans to meet on Saturday. When he got to the house (on-time and texted in advance) he took a look at the garage and was ready to begin work. I explained that the springs had been replaced not that long ago. He told me that there is a 'Heavy Duty' spring replacement option that would last ~3x as long, and wasn't significantly more expensive. I of course decided to go for that option! I wanted to give Robert kudos for 1) coming out on a Saturday and 2) telling me about an option that meant he would have to make another trip out (he didn't have the HD springs in stock). He came back this morning, did a great job replacing the springs and fixing a couple broken hinges. I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend North Metro Garage to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly small business to support. read more

I called North Metro Garage after my springs broke and my cars were stuck in the garage making me late for work. Robert was at a family event and understood my situation. I had a spring bust this morning and called. Rob came by and replaced my springs and balanced the door in around 30 minutes it seemed. Rob was professional and very friendly. I highly suggest you call North Metro Garage. read more

Robert is a one man business and he is extremely friendly and does great work. I called him about a broken torsion spring and he was able to make it over in under 2 hours. When I asked for a price for the spring and replacement he said it was $150 which was quite a bit cheaper than other places in the area. After having the spring replaced in 20-30 minutes he noticed the door was not sliding as well as it could. So he took an extra 30-45 minutes to make sure the door worked better and didn't charge anything for the extra effort. I also asked about weather stripping for the bottom of the garage door since the things offered at Home Depot were not large enough to fill the gap caused by an uneven concrete floor. He offered to call the manufacturer and see if they could provide anything better. If I ever have any garage door troubles in the future I won't hesitate to call him. read more

Pricing is competitive. Rob was great - polite, friendly, and honest. He was early to appointment, replaced both garage springs, and checked over everything... (I was missing a few screws). I would recommend to friends and family. read more

Called this company on a Referral from a Friend, after our Garage door broke. The Company was Professional and Flexible on Scheduling a Repair as soon as it was convenient for US (I believe it was the same day even). Robert did a Great job of fixing the problem quickly & efficiently. It was also Very Affordable (unlike some other quotes we had gotten). We still have his company's contact Information super handy, right by the Garage door button in the Garage...so that if we have any other concerns we can call Rob immediately. They really did a Great Job, our Garage door now runs better than it has since we moved into this house (almost 13 yrs. ago). I would gladly Recommend that anybody should Call and give them a Try! :) Thank You, - a Happy Customer. read more

Called and Robert was able to stop by on his way to another appointment. Lucky it was just an adjustment to my spring. Work was done right then, quick and easy. Very professional and friendly. I would call again. read more

I contacted North metro 3 months ago to replace my garage door. He said that he would fit me in as soon as possible. A couple different times he told me this week and then next week. After almost 5 weeks of messaging, I quit contacting him. He never responded after his last claim of waiting for a door, I can probably get you in next week. Don't call this company, lots of excuses and little action. Not professional customer service. Doesn't deserve the one star, but had to give a rating to post my review. read more

Thanks Cody!! The new door looks and works great. I would highly recommend these guys for all your garage door needs

I would recommend these guys for anyone who is having trouble with their garage door. I believe them to be an hones and responsive operation. They evaluate the problem without jumping to replacing the opener as others do. I feel they saved me significant money. read more

I bought a house and my existing garage door spring had broken, the railing was coming off the walls and door itself was in disrepair. I called Robert the Monday the spring broke and I had a brand new door and tracking system in place by Thursday. I waited a month to write this review and the door has functioned perfectly since then. Robert did a fantastic job, could not be happier. The job took longer than expected because of the poor condition of the hardware on my old door, but Robert got through it and the results came out great. He also sourced a very quite double steel, insulated replacement door at a cost better than HomeDepot/Costco. I recommend Robert if you want a no nonsense and painless garage door service. read more

I moved into a new house and wanted to replace the existing garage door openers with new Liftmaster openers with Wi-Fi. I knew the model I wanted and asked for quotes from several companies and chose North Metro Garage based on the reviews on Yelp and that they quoted exactly what I requested. Rob made an appointment and came on time to do the install. He was professional, friendly and did a great job. I could not have been happier; thank you Rob and Yelp. read more

Robert came early and immediately diagnosed my problem and fixed the issue. Extremely professional and customer-oriented. Highly recommend!

I needed another repair. Robert was on time and fixed the problem. This time the gears were shredded.

Robert gave me a good quote that was reasonable without even looking at the problem. Several days later, he made it out to my place and did the repair work I needed and provided a senior discount when I asked for it. Robert always had a smile on his face and it was a pleasure having him do the work. read more

Called Robert with a garage door issue and he was able to make it out the same day. Super friendly and trust his judgement on repairs that were needed. Would highly recommend! read more

I had a few quotes from different companies to replace my garage door, but Robert was the most persistent (and cheapest, though one other company said they would price match) and was able to do the work before the other guys. He even offered to work on a Sun if I needed. read more

Friendly, patient, knowledgeable and he fit me in the same day I called. Will be calling North Metro for all garage needs from here on out !

The cables on our garage door drums had come off completely. We then noticed that the spring had broken in two. We called Robert at around 10:45 Friday evening thinking to leave a voicemail when he actually answered the phone. We let him know what the issues were and he quoted us a price of $175. He said he could be out Sunday morning to repair everything. He just left about 30 minute ago and was true to his word. He completed all of the repairs in about 30 minutes and charged us the price he originally quoted of $175. Very professional, personable, and honest. We highly recommend North Metro Garage Door and Robert for your garage door repairs. read more

I rarely, (if ever) write reviews. However, Robert at North Metro Garage deserves 5 stars. (Honestly, we would have given 6 stars, if possible!). I called Robert last Sunday night (late) with a broken garage door. Robert had other things to do Monday morning, but rearranged his schedule to meet our needs. He came to our home less than 12 hours after the original call, had our garage door repaired within an hour and charged us the original amount he quoted. Unlike other garage door companies we have heard of, he not only didn't try to upsell us on additional charges, Robert checked and lubed the door for an even quieter functioning door. More businesses should be like North Metro Garage. We are keeping Robert's card and recommending him to everyone we know. This is one small businessman we want to see succeed. Thank you Robert! read more

Called Metro North Garage for service on a broken garage. Set an appointment with owner Robert Meizo. He showed up 2 hours late and was rude. After agreeing to having the work done, he presented a bill at 3 times the amount we agreed upon. What's worse is a few weeks later, the problem returned. read more

I was in the process of moving out of my home and two days before the move-out date, my garage door opener failed. I had gotten a quote from Robert before and his quote was one of the best, and so I decided to reach out to him again. He was able to come the next day, swap out my garage door opener, and get me back to normal for a very good price. Overall, the quality of Robert's work and his price is excellent. I will absolutely reach out to Robert again if I have any garage door issues. I have no hesitation in recommending Robert to my friends and neighbors. read more
