I recently had the pleasure of working with North Hills Tree Service, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. After being referred to them by a friend who couldn't tackle our large oak tree, I reached out to Ryan, and despite living outside their service area, he kindly made the effort to assess the job. His level of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction was evident from the start. Ryan provided us with a thorough quote, taking the time to explain every detail of the job both in person and through the written estimate. What truly impressed me was his dedication to ensuring we understood the process and felt confident in their approach. Additionally, his flexibility and willingness to accommodate our needs, even offering a discount when another job in our area became available, was a genuinely kind gesture that we greatly appreciated. When the team arrived to complete the job, they conducted themselves with utmost professionalism, efficiency, and skill. Not only did they deliver exceptional results, but they also left our yard looking better than ever before. In comparing North Hills Tree Service to other companies we had considered, there was simply no contest. Ryan's team excelled in every aspect, from their expertise and meticulous methods to their competitive pricing. What truly set North Hills Tree Service apart, however, was the level of care and attention they demonstrated even after the job was completed. Ryan personally followed up with us shortly after to ensure we were satisfied with the outcome, a gesture that truly spoke volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. In summary, I cannot recommend North Hills Tree Service highly enough. From start to finish, Ryan and his team exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you, Ryan, for your exceptional service and professionalism. You have earned a lifelong customer in us. read more

After reading the Yelp review on 7-5-2017 Tom called me and said I was mistaken and that he put the estimate in my mailbox. We agreed that there was some missed communications. Tom said that he wanted to make it right, he was out of town, but would call me tomorrow on 7-6-2017 to schedule the service. The next day Tom came over to our house with the proposal. I signed the agreement and Tom said that he would text me on Saturday 7-8 when they could schedule the work. On Saturday he said it would be done on Tuesday or Wednesday, weather permitting, and that he'd confirm on Monday the 10th. On Monday he called at 10:30 AM and said he had a crew nearby & could do the job today if I wanted. I said yes! He called back at 10:50 AM & said that they were on their way. They arrived at 11:15 AM. The crew was totally professional & courteous. They ask if they could us the driveway & backyard. In a little less than an hour they had removed all the trees, cut the stumps close to the ground, and had cleaned up all the waste & debris. Everything was completed perfectly. Please disregard my previous negative assessment. I would highly recommend Tom & North Hills Tree Service for any job that you have! read more

Last week I had a 100 foot oak tree fall on my lawn. I was grateful that it happened overnight and that no one was injured. I needed to take care of this emergency immediately. The problem was that I was not pleased with the tree service company that I had used in the past. I asked a friend for a referral and he suggested North Hills Tree service.I called and they responded immediately. A day and time was set and they promptly arrived on time. The crew was courteous and to the task in the most professional way. The cutting, sawing, and chipping commenced with the total clean up of the remaining debris. Not just a great job but I felt that they were reasonably priced for all of the labor involved. As luck would have it my next door neighbor had the same thing happen 2 days later and he too called North Hills Tree Service and was just as pleased as I was. Thank you to the crew for a great job. Two large dead pine trees, massive split limb on 200 year old tree, black walnut tree encroaching on second story roof, large holly bush, and huge flowering shrub all were removed. Other tree overhanging second floor roof pruned. Assisted with call to electric company due to line encroachment. Stump grinding on two items in front yard done. Cleaned up dead tree near front driveway and all debris removed from entire job. Cut black walnut into fireplace sized pieces and stacked them as requested. Had to wait a couple of weeks to get on their schedule, but well worth it; pricing reasonable and all work done in less than a day. Outstanding job; 5 stars! read more

We had multiple trees of a variety of sizes and difficult placements on our property. We received multiple quotes from a variety of services. Many of them were significantly higher, and did not really focus on what our needs were. Thomas was ontime and very quick to meet for the quote, and delivered our quote quickly. I am very happy with their overall work. They went above and beyond and included the pickup of a number of branches that my wife massacred with her chainsaw the weekend prior. North Hills Tree & Lawn Service rocked! read more

I wanted to thank Ryan and his crew for a great job, Ryan came to the house and listened to what I wanted done. He made suggestions and gave what I feel was a very fair price. His crew removed an old huge pine tree from our back yard and then tackled an enormous oak in our front yard. They did a fantastic job and the oak looks fantastic. When they were done, the raked and blew all the debris from the yard. All in all, very professional service and an excellent crew. I highly recommend their service. read more

Great Company! Easy to Work With! I was given a competitive quote and once I received a date for the work to be done, I realized that there may be a conflict in other work that I was having on my house. I contacted the owner and he managed to fit my job in the following week, two weeks earlier than expected. I recommend North Hills Tree Service not only for their continued professionalism, but their attention to detail in making sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. Bruce Jackson read more

These guys were great. Immediately came out and gave us a price quote that was well below the other 2 quotes we had to wait for. They were booked out about 5 weeks, but managed to fit us in while they were on another job in the area so work was done quickly. Really happy with the job they did in trimming and shaping trees and shrubs in our yard. I would strongly recommend. Trustworthy, professional owners who are not looking to price gauge. It's a pleasure to watch these professionals work. I hope this was helpful in one making a decision. Regards, John g read more

I don't often have an opportunity to rave about a company's outstanding service. But Ryan and his team were especially good at what I wanted done. I rate service on several criteria: Skill, communication, professionalism, and price. North Hills hit a home run in each of these categories. I will have more work to be done in the future and I have no doubt that Ryan and his team will be the ONLY tree service I'll be calling. read more

Ryan did an excellent job of giving us a very competitive quote and then cutting and removing the trees from our backyard (in Gibsonia) as promised. His quote was one of the lowest and he was one who was available within a few days to do the job. He was very professional and responded promptly to queries. He finished the job on time. We highly recommend him and will ask him to help us with other jobs too. read more

Great price, great work. Responsive and very easy to work with. We had a dead tree removed and the stump ground by North Hills Tree & Lawn Services for significantly less than the other estimates we received. We'll be inviting them back in the fall to do some trimming of several other trees on the property. I highly recommend Tom and his team! read more
