This was my very first time talking to a tree removal business with Arborists. The person answering the phone is not creating a welcoming feeling. She speaks is such a condescending tone. I was sorry that I called and bothered her at her job (sarcasm) She spoke very fast without any emotion and seemed so annoyed when I asked questions. She didn't even let me finish my reason for calling when she barked at me " Address., Name. " She made me feel as if she was way to busy to deal with a customer. (the reason she has this job) Then when I mentioned that I wanted them to answer a couple questions about some ornamentals, she replied "that will have to be a seperate appointment" I asked why I had to have a second appointment for just some questions. She did not reply. I just wanted to get off the phone. UGH. I have not received a call back regarding any quote appointment, etc. I will not use this company or recommend them. They should rethink how they allow office staff to speak to customers. I am sure I am not the only one that has experienced the attitude.

They worked well around things in our yard that couldn't easily be moved out of the way (swing, fire pit, stack of lumber, etc). They are an ISA-certified member and employ their own in-house arborist. My friend had previously hired Adler & Sons to prune her trees, and she highly recommended them for my trees. On the business's website, I filled out a form to ask for an estimate to trim my few trees. A few days later, a very courteous employee visited my property to view the trees and to give an estimate. The cost to trim, thin, shape, and deadwood my 3.5 trees (one tree is on a property line) and to haul away debris was $1,000. Of course, the cost to trim other customers' trees would vary based on the size and condition of the trees, any nearby structures, the season of year, etcetera. A couple of weeks later, workers arrived at my property to perform the work. They spoke to me very courteously. They parked one of their trucks on top of protective pads in my driveway. Two other trucks were parked in the street. For over two hours, the employees used saws and a bucket truck to trim dead branches off my trees, and they used rakes to clean debris off the ground. Now my trees and yard look great. I now consider Adler & Sons to be my #1 tree company, and I highly recommend that other people hire them. Please note that this business also sells its mulch, filter-sock and other compost, sawdust, screened topsoil, and aggregates such as gravel, limestone, and crushed concrete.

He initially responded quickly with a great quote - well…read morebelow the other 3 I obtained, however, when it came time to scheduling things became an issue due to lack of responding. Timing took several months for him to get back to me with a date to get the work done. I eventually made it "in the books" twice, however, he no-showed both times and did not respond to text or call (I could see that he read my texts day of). The second booking, he actually blocked my number when I attempted to call the day of to clarify timing/logistics. I unfortunately ended up burning 2 PTO days to be around to entertain the kids while the yard was off limits. Maybe he under quoted and didn't want to do the work? Anyways, proceed caution and low expectations. I ended up going with a different tree service who were easy to work with and great communicators.
