JJ Tree Services gave me a quote, and I decided to go with them because they were one of the cheapest options with the best reviews. They scheduled me out for 2 weeks. I took the day off to monitor the work because the tree was right over my house so a high risk of falling on my house. They showed up late (2 pm when they said 8 am), so I was already frustrated that I took a whole day off when I did not need to. Then they cut down part of 2 other trees to make the larger tree easier (they asked and I agreed). Then the one guy climbed the tree, said it was too dead to cut while in the tree, and came down out of the tree. They explained they would have to come back with a lift. They told me they would be back on Monday, and I was okay with that. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE. So, they caused me to panic because the tree is much more dead than we thought and then they just decided never to answer me again. The tree is directly above the bedroom I sleep in. I have called multiple times a day for 4 days now. Their voicemail is full (assuming they are ghosting others now too). I've texted as well and no one will answer. JJ Tree Services is not worth your time, especially if it is a tree you are already stressed about.

I also felt that there pricing especially on the azalea's where extremely expensive more than double the cost of home depot for similar size. I originally went to Cavacini Landscaping as the Home Depot near me had none left. I ended up leaving and going to another Home depot where I bought azalea's for half the price. Cavacini had a good selection of perennials but again pricey. If I was in a bind I would go back as the plants looked nice and the service was friendly and staff was helpful.

When I tried to explain my situation (an irresponsible driver hit my lawn and took out a tree and three shrubs) I was rudely interrupted and told, "you're just looking money. The estimator came at the appointed time, walked the property with us and made note of what we wanted. The estimate was provided via text & email before he pulled out of our driveway. Accepting the estimate and paying the deposit couldn't have been easier. The 4 guys who came to do the work shortly thereafter walked the property with us and were careful to understand exactly what we wanted. They were knowledgeable and professional. Everything was done as we wanted, and they checked in with us during the process to make sure we were satisfied. They cleaned everything up well.
