I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're after a fair price for a straightforward task. I had a…read morereally disappointing experience with Kyle's customer service. He tried to justify an unreasonable price increase by claiming he had to 'walk the block' to get from the front to the back of my property. In reality, it's literally 50 steps, and he parks his van right at the back of my row house, at the property line, making the 'distance' seem like a non-issue. On top of that, he mentioned volume being a factor, but I don't even have a yard--he's just weed whacking cracks in cement. For such a simple job, the price hike felt completely unwarranted, and the customer service was lacking.

His work is beyond reproach, and I am very meticulous when it comes to my yard. As far as his rates are concerned -- I am on a small fixed income and his rates are very affordable. In addition to cutting my lawn, he trims my hedges and recently completed a large mulching project for me which totally exceeded my expectations! There is no clean-up for me after he leaves -- Kyle does it all! No job is too small or too big. I would highly recommend contacting him for a quote. Mona H., Duquesne Heights, Mt. Big Ed's Lawn Service Is a Scam…read more We hired Big Ed's Lawn Service in early June 2025 and paid up front as they requested, hoping to get the job done quickly. I'm recovering from surgery and physically unable to handle the lawn myself. With weeds getting out of control, I was depending on them to follow through , especially since we're at risk of a visit from code enforcement. After they received our payment, Big Ed's completely disappeared. No job done. No refund. No responses to multiple follow-ups. This is not just unprofessional; this is a scam. They took the money and vanished. Do not trust this business with your time or money. Avoid at all costs.
