The fiber for our internet was buried within inches of the edge of our old driveway, but while it did get exposed in the process, even my ISP said "WOW, who is doing this job? Because they are REALLY careful". Add to that there was ZERO mess and everything was perfectly trimmed. Fast forward to this afternoon. They came, about 10 of them, and same thing, there was not a single black footprint, they had mats to protect the sidewalk, cleaned things up, texted early that they were running about an hour behind and the 100+ foot driveway was completely redone. After a late start, the job took two and half weeks to complete. During the course of the project, I asked John to please let me know about any additional expenses that would be incurred and the pricing of these. He was very dodgy and wouldn't give me a straight answer. Finally, after the job was complete, he came by and stated that the final price for the work was $7100. He had added line items to his estimate, which we never discussed. Unless you want to be taken advantage of, don't hire this company.
