Bottom line up front: I met 2 salesmen, and the owner, and all three are excellent folks to deal…read morewith. I bought 1 clean vehicle that is running very well so far. The experience was lackluster at first, but was turned around and ended well. The long version: I was looking for a family vehicle, and after looking around a bit, I found that Great Neck Buyers and Sellers Inc had a very clean 2012 Land Rover Lr4 with 81K miles. Listed Price: $16,695.00 I verified that it was there. Kay was very pleasant on the phone. I was coming from 1 hour and 20 minutes away, and scheduled an appointment to test drive the vehicle. I was already approved for the loan with my bank. When we got there we were introduced to a salesman name David. David was an excellent salesman, I have no issues with him. He was just doing his job so I don't blame on him. He quickly let me know that The price was not the real price in that I would have to add $1,995 down payment to be at the price. So the vehicle's actual price was: $18,690! Anyway, we where allowed to see the vehicle, but it was not ready for a test drive. I insisted that we test drive, but was brought in to do paperwork instead. I figured ok, no problem. I explained, as we start the paper work, that I was already approved by my bank. That news seemed to trouble Dave, he mentioned that we MUST finance with them. They don't like you buy without financing through them, since the owners make money with the banks and so they require you to finance. But he was nice enough ask for an exception, and he got it. He then proceeded to go though some numbers, so he got a piece of paper and started adding in more fees (he did waive some). By the time we got to the finance guy here is what it started to look like: $1995 down payment $1099 Prep Fee $295 Doc Fee (waived) $525 DMV Fee (insane) The straw that broke the camel's back was when he mentioned a warranty, and I told him that I had one included in my bank's financing. He had to ask for permission to waive this as well. When he came back, he introduced me to Kazi, another salesman there, who politely explained their warranty policy (that you must buy one from them), he offered that he would ask the company for permission and give me a response the following day. At that point, I explained that enough was enough, and that I did not agree with their style of operation, and would be looking elsewhere for a vehicle. So I left. About 45 minutes later, I received a call from Kazi requesting the opportunity to make everything right. He promised to have the vehicle ready for test drive the next morning. I agreed to discuss it the next day and see. Kazi called me the next day as he said he would. I explained that I felt that since I was fortunate enough to be approved with warranty already, that I did not appreciate such of what i felt was a run around. He was very apologetic, and courteous. I asked him for the no-nonsense price, and he told me 18,500 plus tax and tags. I took a day to think about it, and agreed to test drive and if all well, purchase. Kazi was off on the day that I went in to test drive and purchase. But he made all accommodations for me, so that I had a pleasant experience when I went back. I did. David had the vehicle ready to test, I did, and agreed to purchase. From that point on, I worked with David and John, the owner, whom were both professional, and courteous for the entire transaction. In the end, I purchased a fine vehicle at a decent price, from professional and courteous people. My only qualm is with the process, the added fees, hidden down payment, and the required finance and warranty, but at the same time, if I was not preapproved with a warranty, I would have had no issue with the latter. All is well that ends well!! I recommend this dealership, just be ready for the parameters stated. What cannot be understated is the professionalism of all three gentlemen, and especially Kazi for reaching out to make it happen. Thanks to David, Kazi and John.

It's a hole in the wall. Do not bother trying to sell your…read morecar to them. The salesman I worked with claimed he had experience selling tons of Honda Accords yet when questioned about the model I was considering, there were so many things he wasn't sure about with the car. Also, the online prices are tricks because they claim it doesn't include the cash down prices. So the car I viewed online went up price wise about 3K when I went to view it in person. Before looking at my car he tried talking me out of buying the Honda I was looking at. Viewing my car across the street he said it might go for one price however he'd have to have an appraiser look at it closer yet he didn't think there was one on-site that day but he could try to find a manager. Giving the keys to my car for a closer inspection, the value of my perfectly conditioned vehicle went down by 1-2K for bullshit reasons that were completely unfounded. Ultimately, he tried to tell me that my 2019 Lexus F Sport with less miles than the 2019 Honda Accord Touring was worth less trade in wise and I would owe money towards getting the Honda. Insurance would argue otherwise; a Lexus is a luxury vehicle. Not a Honda. The value of my car is not worth less than a Honda, especially not the same year and less mileage. save your time and gas. dont go here.

After 12 years of purchasing and servicing vehicles at Audi Great Neck, I am extremely…read moredisappointed. My 2018 Q5, with only 30,000 miles, first experienced mechanical problems in June, before Audi's extended water pump warranty expired August 31. I contacted Audi of America on September 11 while overseas and was instructed to bring the vehicle in upon my return. The earliest available appointment was September 27. The dealership diagnosed a water pump/thermostat issue and provided what I consider an excessive repair estimate of nearly $4,000. Despite these circumstances, Audi denied goodwill coverage, offering only a $400 discount. After 12 years of loyalty, I expected stronger support and advocacy from this dealership. We were also considering purchasing a new Audi Q3, but this experience has caused us to seriously reconsider doing business with Audi Great Neck.

Audi Great Neck filed the application for registration was late, and they cannot give an ETA on when it will be complete. I've been trying to resolve this issue via phone calls and emails for 3 weeks. There is no sense of urgency on the dealership's part, to the extent they respond at all. tl;dr: this dealership sold me a car but refuse to provide the title or register the vehicle. Nightmare to work with. Would not recommend. --Update as of May 17-- Audi Great Neck has yet to provide an ETA or explanation. I still do not have title to the car I purchased. I still do not have a registered car. It has been more than two months now. In response to "Colin J." from Audi Great Neck: GM Jorgina Beto emailed me on May 6th to say that an update would be coming the next day. It's now May 17th, and still no update. Jorgina has ignored subsequent communications.

The best experience at any dealership I ever had!…read more Here how it went: Work environment? Friendly, and clean! Nice showroom, and they have snacks for customers! And plenty of tv screens to watch whatever on cable! I walk towards the establishment for my appointment to view a car I found through CarGurus and there's a gentleman there ready to help me out, Steven. Real cool guy, we chatted about cars, features, etc. We immediately took a look at the car, inside and out, car was in VERY GOOD condition. They keep their cars very clean and show room ready. SERIOUSLY! Next we went to the desk to talk numbers, everything was correct as shown online. I already came in with the intent to leave a downpayment regardless. The most important thing about shopping for a car is to be educated and understand businesses have to make money. Research the cars you are interested in and match the value that way. Long story short, after all the questions with Mike, I was very happy with the final cost, VERY reasonable for a 2014 Infiniti q50 hybrid which included taxes and regulations all done right there in the office. Mike is a honest guy, and its obvious he understands the business. I came in with the decision to buy a car TODAY, and I did just that! Nothing secretive or shady about this establishment. They explain everything, even if you dont understand the first time. ****NOTE TO BUYERS**** Dont believe the other reviews, use a different source to read true reviews to judge this company. While I was there, about 4 other people were there to pick up a car that they TOO just purchased! And everyone was happy! The company is not pushy and they dont try to up-sale you on any and everything. Come in during the week when its not as busy! Look for Steven, and you'll eventually meet Mike! He'll get your numbers right and explain everything!

BUYER BEWARE -- CERTIFIED LUXURY MOTORS!…read more We found a truck on Carfax advertised for $28,800. We went to Certified Luxury Motors, sat down with the salesperson, and were told they would not run a hard credit check until they determined whether we were pre-approved. After waiting about 25-30 minutes, we were told we were approved and took the truck for a test drive. During the test drive, we noticed the brakes and/or front-wheel alignment seemed off, and we immediately mentioned it to the salesperson. While we were waiting, another customer came in who had purchased a vehicle from the dealership just three days earlier. He was calmly asking for help because his vehicle did not come with the wheel-lock key, and he had gotten a flat tire but couldn't change it. Instead of helping him, the salesperson called the Nassau County Police. At that point, my boyfriend and I looked at each other and said this was a huge red flag. We almost left--but decided to continue with the deal. We added the truck to our insurance and paid our down payment. Here's where things got really concerning: we had not yet been given the final numbers or sat down with the finance manager. After our money was taken, we were finally brought into the finance office. The truck that was advertised for approximately $28,800 suddenly became around $72,000 after taxes, fees, financing, and other charges were added. We questioned the numbers, refused the deal, walked away, and thankfully received our money back. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Don't rely on the advertised price. Ask for the complete OUT-THE-DOOR PRICE IN WRITING BEFORE PAYING A DOWN PAYMENT OR SIGNING ANYTHING. This was our personal experience, and based on what happened, we would NOT recommend Certified Luxury Motors. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. READ EVERYTHING. ASK QUESTIONS. GET ALL THE NUMBERS IN WRITING. BUYER BEWARE!
