The most beautiful and gigantic plant nursery I have ever seen. It's located in a Historic fruit…read morepacking shed, ( a huge rustic warehouse ). I loved just looking up inside this building, you could see the old workings from it past. It seems like half a mile of plants. The inventory is huge and I could have spent a Million dollars here . And the plants were reasonably priced. Better than big box nurseries. Rare plants. My friend and I were in Heaven. There's a Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating that's always booked. Reservations are essential, my friend and I thought we could slip in and have lunch, it was a 45 minute wait, only finding that out after we had stood in line for over 20 minutes plus.. The property is like a beautiful garden with a koi pond and wonderful garden art that I wanted so, so badly. Money . There's also an olive oil and vinegar tasting room and a separate gift shop all in this wonderful warehouse setting. My friend bought 2 oils costing $40.00 . But they were exquisite, beautiful and flavorful and unique tasting. Yum. High hand also has a venue for weddings and I believe a brewery. It's mind blowing ! Serious gardeners must visit there. It's about a two hour drive from Reno. I give it 5 stars absolutely..

Omg can I live here? Amazing and sprawling nursery. Plus the outdoor restaurant in the greenhouse…read moreso amazing. We ordered chicken salad sandwich, salmon, salad, fish, tacos, everybody enjoyed their food. Love that they allowed us to have our dog with us. She loved that. Such an adorable venue. They also have a bar and music venue on the opposite side of the property. Service was fine. Although one of the servers (not ours) brought our dog some water. Very sweet. A little pricey for food. We got a couple of plants and some pots and some decorations. It was a lovely and enjoyable. I will definitely be back!

We purchased about $900 worth of plants in spring 2011. When I went to pick up our order I was…read moreskeptical about some of the plants because some of them had brown leaves. The lady who helped me said it would be fine just pull off the dead leaves. I did this...however when I got home I had a friend who is a master gardener come look at everything and she informed me that the plants were diseased. Within a few months several of the plants had died. When I called to tell them what happened they would not do anything about it. I was told it was due to improper watering or planting. All other nurseries that I have purchased from have offered a one year guarantee (which I have never had to use) so I will definitely look for that next time. One last note I was referred to this nursery from the landscape designer and purchased from them because the prices were supposed to be "wholesale " however after purchasing I have looked at other prices more carefully and found that other places "retail" is better than sierra view's pricing I received. I just can't believe they aren't willing to replace my plants at cost or offer some solution. Go with someone else who offers better pricing at stands behind their product with a guarantee!

Warning: DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! Whatever few dollars in savings there might be, it's not worth…read morethe time, effort and threats in dealing with them. I also used this plant supplier on recommendation of a landscape designer. They say they are a wholesaler, but she'll sell to individuals, and her plants are not cheaper or better quality than those from the other nurseries I had to go to when she didn't deliver what she said she would. We redid our front and back yards -- many plants, over $1400. She did deliver some plants on the day and time that was agreed to, only no one was at the residence to take delivery. When we did get home, plants were all over the driveway, unsorted as to front and back (although they were ordered that way) with little to no identification on the pots as to what they were. When we sorted them out (which took ALL DAY since we are not plant experts) with the help of the plant list I had supplied to her, her initial invoice estimate, and Google, we realized that the invoice she delivered with the plants was in error -- she charged us for plants that were not delivered at all and sizes of plants we didn't receive. When I told her what had happened, she said it wasn't her fault, she was out of town so she had no control of what went on the truck or came off the truck. She said her dad (who doesn't work at the nursery) loaded and unloaded the plants and admitted he didn't know what he was doing. I had to go to 4 nurseries to get the plants that she hadn't sent so the landscape installers had material to work with. I had to ask her twice in an email as well as once on the phone for a corrected invoice. She did send me one after a couple of days. It took me over 3 hours to try to reconcile her 3 invoices because she had different totals and plant costs on all of them! She didn't simply correct the mistakes, she changed prices on other plants, too. When I didn't respond immediately (since dealing with her takes waaayyyy too much of my limited time), she threatened me through an email to take me to small claims court, and take the designer there with her -- who doesn't want to go and admittedly would have nothing to contribute because she wasn't there either when the plants were delivered! Sierra View also tried to make it the designer's fault and take her business away. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot..... Oh, and all of this was still within 30 days of receiving the plants. P.S. They also charge an exorbitant delivery fee, because she says their delivery truck only gets 8 miles/gallon.. In 2012? Really?!
