It was boxes of take out containers, bags, silverware etc. Maybe that is the only place they have to store it, but it is kind of weird that it is right there at the entrance. Also, I'm not sure if there was an issue with the heat just that day or if it is always an issue, but the seating area was not warm at all. They had a small space heater in the back that wasn't making a dent. I wasn't planning on eating there anyway, but if I was, I probably would have changed my plans. The pros are that the service was extremely friendly and helpful. They also make everything to order, so you aren't getting food that has been sitting around on a grill or in a warmer like you might at some fast casual places. The food also tasted great. I got the teriyaki chicken and the chicken had a lot of flavor and was tender. The down sides are the price and the sauce. The portions were large in that there was a decent amount of food in the container, but there wasn't a lot of chicken for what I paid. Also, it was SWIMMING in sauce. I usually like a lot of sauce, but this was a bit too much. The sauce did have a nice flavor, but I wish they would ask about how much sauce you like (thinking of the places in the mall that ask if you want additional sauce). It comes with one side of yum yum sauce (which never seems to be enough, but $1 for an extra seemed to be a bit too much for the size). Overall, tasty food but could use some improvement on presentation - both of the restaurant space itself and the food.

The bathroom smelled like someone accidentally dumped a whole bottle of bleach, and the eating area also smelled faintly of bleach, as a result. Service. We were quickly given water and our server, a femme with glasses, was very attentive and polite. ---- Overall, for sushi, it was just okay. I've lived in California and Hawaii, and have high hopes and standards of sushi. Some of the rolls here are overrated and overpriced. If you can learn what the good deals are here, or if money is no issue, it's an okay place for sushi for Pittsburgh.
