Absolutely awful online shopping cart system and most employees who answer the phone don't know what they're doing. I tried to order 2 coats online. I provided address, credit card information and a Nordstrom gift card info. Couldn't press 'Place Order' link. I called numerous times spending well over 1.5 hours to buy these two coats. No one could help. They give excuse that maybe it's Safari browser. I tried IE and Firefox and both had the same problem. Finally, I spoke to 'Mary' and she helped me. Only shopping cart in history that asks for credit card information at checkout BUT you're not supposed to enter it there. You are supposed to enter it in your account information. Even when I entered it in apparently in the wrong place, I got a message that it was saved successfully. If It wasn't for Mary who was very helpful, I would be SOL getting these coats. No one could take my order over the phone. No one else could help and it's the worst shopping cart I've ever seen! Hopefully, they fit and I won't have a hassle with a return process, if required. Can't imagine anyone else wasting this much time to buy something online. In a second, they could have easily been at another website. You'd think Nordstrom would know that. read more

It's fairly messy & disorganized but who can't love great brands at waaaay discounted prices. From work out gear, to shoes, purses, sunglasses, luggage, accessories .. it is a great place to go and feel like a kick-butt shopper because you'll be getting such great deals. Don't miss their generous clearance racks. You can also check out with any employee in the store without waiting in line at the cash register - like the Apple Store's style. I have gotten a sweater, watch, workout gear, and leggings from here and they are all some of the nicest things I own and I got them for such great prices - same prices as if I went to Target!!!! Just be sure you go in there with the mindset to search for buried treasure ;) read more

I love this place. I wear a larger size shoe, and they have tons of shoes in all sizes. Fantastic prices! I sometimes find great deals on dresses, too, but I go for the shoes. Thanks, Nordstrom Rack!! read more

Not that cheap. Bad customer service. I went here because I wanted new work shoes. I was waiting in line to check out and the cashier just left her register without saying a word to me. There goes my business. It's a shame... just because it's an outlet store doesn't mean there should be sub par service. I've seen better employees at McDonald's let alone other retailers. read more

I love this place. The deals are a plenty. The people who work here are helpful. They have a large shoe selection to choose from. Be prepared to take time looking through all the racks so that you can find the best deal. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is always busy. The store is disorganized compared to the Ann Arbor or Lake Orion/Auburn Hills location. Forget about getting trying to get through the shoe aisles here. They are a mess. The clothes here aren't as organized either. I do like the accessories and mens area here. Prices are good and if you have time can find great deals! That is the reason for 3 stars. read more

I've been coming here for years & have noticed that the level of customer service has diminished, every salesperson my mother asked for help was considerably rude. I used to work for Nordstrom so I know how the company prides itself on good customer service. Sad. Also multiple merch found damaged. read more

I revisited Nordstrom Rack and was VERY pleasantly surprised that there were no lines! They have associates in green shirts placed throughout the store who will check you out ON THE SPOT!!! Those same associates are organizing too, so the store is not NEARLY as disorganized as in my previous visits! It was pretty nice and tidy! What a fabulous idea!!! Now I know I will be shopping here more often as the majority of my time will be spent BUYING and not WAITING! A BIG KUDOS to you Nordstrom rack!!!! read more

I've never had such bad service at a Nordstrom before. First of all the store was a mess, everything was all over the floor. It's a wonder I found the one thing I was looking for! The main reason the service was so bad was because I had to wait over 30 minutes in the line at checkout. 30 minutes!!!! How is that acceptable??? The people ringing the resister we're moving sooo slow and when the manage finally came up to help one of them she jumped on a register like she was surprised with how long of a line there was. she obviously had no idea what was going on in the store she is supposed to be managing. I worked retail for a long time and can tell by the way this store looked and the line that it is clearly not being managed very well. This has definite tarnished my view of Nordstrom. read more

No complaints, quality clothes, it's always clean even when there are tons of people shopping. Staff is super helpful and friendly. And discount name brand clothes, shoes and accessories!!! What more could a girl ask for? Love it read more

So pleased with this store. Returns no problem. Employees very helpful (especially cashier Julie). Friendly environment. Lots of great deals! Prices on some items high but a lot less than the regular Nordstrom prices. If you have time to look around the store (like a few hours), you will be able to find some great deals. Get on their email list to be notified of extra deals/sales. My new favorite store! read more

Over priced crap. Go to marshells or tjmaxx if looking for true discount on brand name items.

Rock on!! When this Nordstrom Rack first opened you were lucky to find anything half way decent. Since they have opened I have found several amazing pieces. Including a pair of Jimmy Choos for 75% off the retail price!! I died. I wish the Nordstrom fuline store had higher end merchandise. We live in Novi not the Amazon!! I find higher end brands at the Rack in Novi than I do at the actual store.. kind of interesting? The trick to this spot is to go when you have time, frequently and take a Xanax because the staff is overwhelmed with many customers at a time. read more

the store almost has to much product in it as it is always a mess and the customers think that your searching for the hope diamond and are ruthless to go along with the rude employees read more

I've been to some Rack stores where they had nice stuff that had been marked down from the regular Nordstrom stores. This particular store is nothing like that at all. It's more like a mix of T.J. Maxx and Macy's. A lot of the stuff here consists of lower-end items tagged to make them look like you are getting amazing discounts. Think "made for outlet" merchandise that is everywhere now. Not worth the hassle or the long checkout lines. I walked out of here without buying a single thing. read more

I waited in line 45 minutes until the store opened at 11 AM. Once I got inside, I gave the sales clerk the duvet and shams that I had ordered in March and had been unable to return due to the coronavirus. I returned it in the original packaging. It never came with a receipt. I relayed this information to the clerk. I also told her that the order was placed on my Nordstrom charge. She then asked me if I purchased it at a store other than NORDSTROM. I repeated what I just had told her that it was purchased at Nordstrom rack online and that I purchased two and kept one. I gave her my credit card so she could check. She said It only showed three items purchased in May. I said those were returns in May to NORDSTROM. I have had other purchases since March. She said there are none and you could not of bought any. I had to pay for this purchase so I didn't have interest charges for three months. She never said I'm sorry for your inconvenience and so happy to see you back here. Just an accusatory tone and that I didn't buy it at Nordstrom rack. I finally said perhaps you need to check again? Finally a manager came over and found the order and issued the credit. After the transaction was completed, I explained what transpired and that I was never shopping at Nordstrom rack online or in the store again. To be accused of buying an item somewhere else because a sales clerk could not find it and Nordstrom rack did not mail a receipt with the order and never receiving an apology from the sales clerk is unconscionable. I would expect this perhaps at Walmart. Not at NORDSTROM. read more

"To provide outstanding service every day, one customer at a time."-- Nordstrom Rack mission statement. I purchased a pair of Sperry rain boots from this particular location on 11/5/17. I wore these boots to take my trash to the garbage that same day. On my 30 second walk to the garbage can I noticed the boots would not stay put on my feet. I suppose they run a little bigger than I thought. I take them back to this location to return these $90.00 boots that I no longer have use for the very next day 11/6/17. The cashier lady says she cannot take the boots back because they have a leaf on the bottom and have been worn. I wore these boots for a total of 30 seconds and it cost me $90.00 The manager said there was nothing that can be done she cannot sell them back. I asked her "do you tell people this when they are purchasing? That all sales are final? Because I wore these for 30 seconds and now I'm out $90.00. She said it's on your receipt have a good day and rolled her eyes and walked away. I have never had a "customer service" representative be so dismissive. I'm not one to sit there and argue with ignorance. So I'm here to let everyone know I would not recommend this location to anyone. As you can see the business is not abiding by their mission statement at all. Management can't even have a decent conversation. This is probably why Amazon is taking over because I'm sure if I had a bad experience there it would be handled properly. Now here is trying to find a girl or women I can donate my boots too because they are too big for my feet. read more

There's not many Nordstrom Racks in the area, we decided to head out this way so we can check out the area. The store was packed on a Saturday afternoon. I went to do a return and purchase a pair of boots. The cashier didn't say anything while doing the return, not very friendly. I let her know I also wanted to purchase these boots, she said she needed to do them separately. That's fine, but technically I could do them as an exchange. I didn't argue and waited for her to finish my return. We asked her to look up our Nordstrom card, she asked for our zip and we provided her with two because we recently relocated. She totally ignored the number I gave her and tried the one on my husband's license. I asked her to try one more she replied. And said how many do you have?! We just moved so I'm not sure which address its under.. Relax lady! Sheesh have some courtesy. It finally went through, but if she heard me the first time she wouldn't have had this issue. I'm sticking to the Ann Arbor location, they don't have rude employees. read more

$80 Gold Jimmy Choo Heels. 'Nuff said!

Went in today and I found a shirt that I really liked and wanted to buy, it was the last shirt in that style. I did notice a makeup stain on it but I was still willing to pay the discounted asking price. When I attempted to checkout I was told That I couldn't purchase the shirt because of the stain. I was told by the cashier that Nordstrom prides themselves on customer service and that they couldn't sell a garment with a stain. I referred them to all of the items in the store that had make up transfer stains and the manager said she's not aware of that. Ummm, what? Then I said I would just like to buy the shirt, and I understood it would be final sale. They said no. I asked what they were going to do with it, she told me it would be sent to be sold at "Last Chance". I was incredulous with disbelief. I said I would not be leaving with out the shirt, it was now about more than the shirt. Then the manager said she'd have to see if their "seamstress" could get the stain out. Umm, ok, let's waste more of my time and yours! Sure! She comes 10 minutes later from the back of the store and hands me the slightly damp top letting me know her "seamstress" was successful. I'm picturing this, um, person in the bathroom scrubbing at the makeup stain with a paper towel. Why? Why all of this? Who the heck knows but I'll NEVER go back there. read more

In town for work, so over the weekend I ventured out to shop and grab something to eat. I am a huge Nordstrom Rack and was very happy to learn that there was a location close to my hotel. The store was not bad, very clean and tidy, in comparison to other Rack locations. My only complaint, it was smaller than other Rack locations and therefore the merchandise was limited - designer shoes, jewelry and handbags. read more
