    [Re-review] Attended the "Oh What Fun event this evening to kick off the holiday season and experienced one of the most hilariously distasteful things I ever did at an event like this. There was plenty of free alcoholic drinks flowing but my friend does not drink. When she went up to the bar on the 5th floor, she asked a bartender for a non-alcoholic drink (a soda perhaps) and the bartender told her she could give her one of the mix-ins (Sprite, apple juice) but would have to CHARGE her...I'm sorry? So guests of this event would be punished for not drinking alcohol? Absolutely disgusting customer service without consideration especially when a glass of soda is likely a tenth of the price of the alcohol being added to it...

    Anna in women's shoes is an amazing salesperson. She made us feel so comfortable and brought out so many shoes for my wife to try on. This is a great Nordstrom moment. Thank you Anna

    Hems are noticeably uneven

    Update: this is only my second time wearing these pants since they "fixed" the hem, and it literally fell apart the moment I left the house. Frustrated is a gross understatement.

    This review is for the cafe- stopped by for lunch yesterday and I wouldn't have known this cafe was here if my cousin wouldn't have told me about it. I'm so sad I didn't know sooner because the food was beyond fresh and delicious. I got the burger with the Parmesan friends. They were beyond delicious and their truffle dip was delicious. Burger was cooked medium at perfect temp. My cousin got a salad (I can't remember which one) but it was also delicious. Service was a 5/5! Will be back again when I'm around the area!

    So I go to Nordstrom yesterday to pick up two Ralph Lauren Cape dresses that I ordered on line last week. 1 in red and 1 in black. I go into the dressing room to try them on before I bring them home. The red dress is on a hanger and in plastic covering, the black dress is shoved into a bag that has nothing to do with the dress and it was filthy dirty as you can see in the photos. I couldn't believe that I received my merchandise like that . I was so upset. I just returned both dresses and I'll go to Ralph Lauren at the flagship store and purchase them there. I then proceed to go to the fifth floor to buy pantyhose. I ask one woman for help and she says she's busy. She gets me someone else a girl named Dianna who comes up to assist me. Not that it's part of her job performance, but she looked miserable and definitely treated like she didn't want to take care of me or anybody else she'd rather be watching Netflix at home. And to add insult to injury She wasn't much help when I asked her What size do you think I need? These are my height and weight. She handed me the pantyhose and said well. Here's the stats right here. I could've done that myself I then asked her for a certain color and she said she didn't know if they had that color. I said well can you find out needless to say I never got that color because she never looked in inventory. I then asked about another company and they're sizing and there was no sizing on the back again, she said she didn't know and I said well how do we find out because I don't know either! I felt she was rude, unwelcoming it wasn't busy there and she wasn't giving the kind of Customer service I felt I deserved in a fairly empty store. Needless to say, I left Nordstrom really pissed off. 2 experiences 2 different floors both rotten. At this point, I wouldn't recommend going there aside from maybe the cosmetic floor . It's sad because I've been a card holder since 1997

    I had a great time shopping today. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The sales associates provided excellent service and immediately understood what I was looking for when I described an item. They offered me alternative options, and when something wasn't available in-store, they reminded me that I could order it and have it shipped to my address for free. I also have to give a shout-out to Lance at the Shoe Bar for making me a cocktail that almost convinced me to stay longer and spend more money!

    It was my first time as the flagship store and I was in heaven! I specifically came for the Louboutin boutique which didn't disappoint! Tony was my sales associate and was a 10/10! He was patient, offered great suggestions and attentive. Their selection was amazing and I could have spent all day in this store! They do have a bar or two if you would like to grab a cocktail while enjoying some shopping. One store is dedicated solely to women while across the street is men's! They not only have designer but also contemporary designers as well. I can't wait to go back!

    TL;DR: This Nordstrom Store provided a welcoming and INCLUSIVE shopping experience for ALL! I am updating my previous 5 star review of the Nordstrom Flagship store on 57th to reflect another exceptional customer service experience. I previously wrote about Jody- the dress whisperer who helped assist myself, my mother and my sister purchase evening gowns for my brother's wedding. I had been very rudely turned away from Bloomingdale's and Sak's who offered to help my petite mother and sister but- in words I will not repeat on Yelp- stated they did not serve individuals of my size there. BTW the average american dress size is between a size 16 and size 18- I guess those stores did not get the memo. Jody at Nordstrom's on 57th was beyond warm, professional and efficient. She had 5 black evening gowns in my size for me to try on in under 10 minutes, while also pulling gowns for my mom at the same time. We had all our gowns altered with Nordstroms in house alteration (and having a Nordstrom's credit card we received nordstrom notes for most of this cost). The gowns when altered were given back to us in these nice nordstroms garment bags. These garment bags are so helpful in protecting your gown and transporting your gown. I had my gown dry cleaned last week for a special occasion and unfortunately, my dry cleaner somehow lost the garment bag and did not sell any! I called Nordstroms on 57th as I could not see any garment bags listed on their website. Due to some technical issues with their phones, I was connected with Margalit in the lingerie department. Margalit was kind enough to check the back for me and confirm they had the garmet bags and put one aside for me. When I arrived at the Nordstrom on 57th the next day, I was greeted warmly by Margalit who remembered our conversation and as soon as I said I was there for a garmet bag she greeted me by name and returned in 2 shakes of a lamb's tail with a bag for me. Margalit was warm, professional and efficient!! I stopped across the street at the men's store to purchase a gift for my boyfriend and also had a wonderful experience with nordstrom employee Jazmin! I will write a review for them next to share that experience!

    Writing this review for Yuki from the women's intimates department. I had been wearing the same strapless bra for the last 6 years until finally the underwire poked through and drew blood! Bra shopping is hardly my favorite thing to do, but I went in to Nordstrom hoping to find a replacement. I was browsing for a few minutes when Yuki approached me asking if she could assist. She took my measurements and listened closely to what I was looking for. She went to look for options and came back with a ton. She pointed out how each fit (or didn't) and what to look for. She picked out a few that I would not have considered based on how it looked on the hanger. I'm glad she had me try them on anyway, because they worked! I left with 4 new pieces (including the strapless I was trying to replace). I was there for less than an hour. Ladies, you know how difficult it is to find a good bra. Go see Yuki.

    Nordstrom Flagship store on w. 57th St had its Anniversary Sale which ends today. Giving away perks in the morning. Most staff is nice enough but makeup ppl r very pushy & invasive in your face too too much. I couldn't shop comfortably I had to ask them to stop . It was like every minute another would signal another salesperson ‍ to approach they need to work on that. We spend money all year give us a chance to look for sales w/ out being annoying ppl spend more when they're having fun. I got anxiety bc I didn't know when another person ‍ would jump out at me. Ijs Lots of great deals though. Last chance to get over there b4 sales return to regular prices. Lol

    Another successful visit to the Nordstroms store thanks to sales associate Jelani Williams. I had taken a picture of a pair of booties I found online and liked but while looking around wasn't able to locate them in the store, Jelani to the rescue. Jelani went to the back and bought out the box with one shoe (which I tried on and loved) the other was on the rack....with the patience of a saint he went thru all the racks trying to locate the matching booties. Unable to find it I saw him heading back to the stock room was gone for a little bit but was unable to locate it. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to purchase and he offered to order it for me online since the booties would more than likely be in either another store or the warehouse and could be fulfilled. This visit was on Monday and my booties arrived on Wednesday. Ladies like many other reviewers who suggested to size up I would go 1/2 size up. I always wear a 9 which is the picture of me wearing the booties and "yes" the heel is very hard and it's pretty narrow in the lower portion of foot. The 9 1/2 just has a wee bit of space that a pair of thick socks couldn't fit......they are perfect. Love love love my new booties and I hope Jelani is available anytime I visit the stores shoe department

The experience and quality is H&M, but the pricing is at a premium. While I'll probably buy from MM la fleur again, it won't be at this boutique, which is a shame because it's the closest to my home and work.

    I had a work trip run expectedly long and desperately needed some things to wear, without having…read moretime to go to a physical store. MM Lafleur's stuff is overpriced and basic, but I can count on it to fit me well. I ordered $2K of stuff and paid extra for expedited shipping. I just wanted a simple solution and was willing to pay $ for it. Fedex then refused to deliver to my address because I had forgotten the unit number. After waiting 45 minutes on hold with them, I confirmed my name , contact info and the order number, and called from the phone number on the package, but they refused to deliver. (I gave them the correct unit number, or gave them the option of leaving it inside of a locked gate at that address they had access to, but they refused). I contacted MM Lafleur via email hoping they could make it right, but they basically shrugged their shoulders and said 'we've processed your refund, you should have your money back in 7-10 days.' They claimed that Fedex said I refused the package, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm going to be working all weekend and don't have the time to go on a shopping trip. I would happily go to a Fedex location to pick it up, happily arrange to be outside the front address when it's delivered. Insult to injury, they said -- 'please update your address so this doesn't happen with future orders.' Sometimes people make mistakes with addresses, I've never had a Company refuse to contact the carrier to make an update. Just laziness with a side of "not my problem" attitude. It didn't seem like MM's customer service bothered to read my email and wasn't interested in engaging. (Maybe they're using AI instead of employees, who knows). Maybe their reps are paid based on how quickly they "resolve" cases. I know I shouldn't be shocked by crappy customer service, but I've had better experiences with Spirit Airlines. MM LaFleur -- do better.

We made a significant purchase. ($3.000) The very next day many of the items purchased went on sale. I was notified of the sale via emails direct from Alice & Olivia. Sadly, I left town and could not assist with the adjustment. I asked my daughter to return to the store for an adjustment since it was less than 12 hours since our initial purchase. She went to the store for an adjustment with her receipt. The store manager, Danni gave my daughter the run around regarding her adjustment. She was told she needed the receipt and the clothing. My daughter had to return to the store again with the receipt and clothing in hand the next day. Danni gave her the run around again. She did not want to honor the adjustment but finally did. I had to call and speak with Danni on the phone to make this happen. Danni said she was following store policy. I googled the store adjustment policy and it lists a 7 day adjustment policy. The adjustments we were requesting was day # 2 & # 3 after the sale. The worst part about this whole experience is my daughter is physically handicapped. She had to make two additional trips to the store for an adjustment. As a mother of a handicapped daughter, this shocked me at how insensitive Danni handled the entire situation. Danni can see my daughter is physically handicapped! If the adjustment return policy is to have the receipt and clothing in hand it should be listed on the A &O website. It is not. I feel Danni needs sensitivity training. She could have handled the adjustment request much differently especially seeing my daughter is handicapped. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this location. The purchase which was a good experience turned into an awful one.
