Place the order at one end of the counter and you pick it all the way on the end. They take the sandwich in back to finish it. I ordered a corned beef on an onion roll. While I waited they have a nice selection of baked goods. Cookies, bread and desserts!! The decor is eclectic with nice nods to delis. I received my sandwich and ate outside, because the indoor dining area was full. My sandwich was really good, I would like a little extra mustard next time. The meat was tender and flavorful. The menu had a nice variety of both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes, as well as sushi. Our order started with the Gyoza (six pan-fried dumplings), which were fresh, hot, and very good once they came (after the entrees). We both had Crispy Egg Noodles dishes, mine with beef and vegetables, and my husband's with the chicken, shrimp, beef, & squid combination. We were surprised to find out that "crispy egg noodles" were the same as what we know as Chow Mein Noodles, like you can buy in a can at the grocery store. We were expecting fresh noodles fried crispy. But once the sauce soaked into them they softened and were fine. Next time, though, I think I'll try one of the soft egg noodle dishes instead. The real star of the entree was the meat, vegetable and sauce stir-fry that topped the noodles. The beef was tender, plentiful, and flavorful, and the types of vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, sprouts, celery, and carrots) were exactly what I like in a dish like this. The soy-based sauce was flavorful without being too strong or salty. Truly, other than the surprise with the noodles, everything was perfect. The portions were huge, so we each brought half home to eat later. They sell Japanese bottled sodas, but we opted instead for cans of Coke and Diet Coke respectively. I ordered two breakfast bagels (egg, cheese, sausage), a plain bagel with cream cheese, and a lox bagel and two mini plain bagels for my kids. Not one person enjoyed their bagel. It was extra chewy, dry, and absolutely tasteless. The lox was forgettable. The cream cheese was good, but that was it. Add on a very long wait time for a line that wasn't very long and less than friendly service and that leads to this low review. The only perk was the parking lot and arriving early on a Wednesday left ample parking. Will definitely try out another option next time we want bagels.

Because of the landlocked country's very cold climate and lack of rivers/lakes -- making produce, rice, and spices very difficult to grow -- this is a cuisine that's all based on meat, animal fats, dairy, and some noodles and dumplings, with some culinary influences from it's neighbors Russia and China. But the owner is very helpful. After giving us tea and golden-fried dough balls as a classic Mongolian welcoming appetizer, she said they could make me one of the Chinese-inspired glass noodle dishes with just vegetables. It was a generous portion, seasoned in a no-frills way with salt and pepper, but very tasty. My husband, who eats meat, had the much more traditional buuz, which are dumplings with meat. He was happy with it. We also got a sauerkraut and carrot side salad with light vinegar, and a Russian-inspired potato salad with carrots, peas, pickles, and mayo that is not vegetarian -- it tasted quite savory and a little smoky, and we think it had some ham in it. And of course we had to try the Mongolian milk tea, which is made with green tea, whole milk, butter, and it's slightly salted (in Mongolia, this would be made with horse milk.) It's an acquired taste, but it fits the cuisine. The whole experience and friendly hospitality of the owner made this a fun dinner for us.
