Do not go here! The guy knew nothing about hair and messed up bad! The fade was so bad! Asked the top to be trimmed and shaved all my hair off. Also odd they face you away from the mirror. I didn't want to cause a scene so I paid and left. I had to go to Supercuts to have them fix it. They all comment how bad he cut it. read more

I'm running late from work on a Tuesday and so I check the hours on the google map and it says closes at 6 pm so It's around 4:45 pm and so I dare the traffic on Hamner ave and the one lane bridge thinking I have until 6. I get there at 5:20 pm and I try the door and it's locked. I see the barber cutting hair and so I knock and she say's there closed? I look at the sign on the window and it's say's closes at 6 pm. This place always has availability for me last minute. As a dude it's usually a week too late when I realize I need my hair cut, so I really appreciate that I can call them up and get an a cut anytime. The people are very friendly, highly recommend. read more

So, we called for appointments and prices. We were told 40 dollars for a layered women's hair cut and 26 for a man's flat top. A bit pricey but we had been wanting to try this place and really needed hair cuts. We got there a bit after an hour of their opening time on a Saturday. It was empty. That might of been our first red flag. Only two stylists there. A woman, Griselda and a man. Griselda was really nice but for 40 bucks I didn't even get a shampoo or a style, just sprayed barely damp and cut so quick I was done before my man of 30 years which is the very first time that has ever happened. Literally, we both got started same time and mine was done a good 10 minutes before my husband when normally he is having to wait 15 minutes longer for me. The cut was not the best to try and say it nicely. I had to ask her to even my sides and they are not even. She didn't even up the back either which is part of why i went to get my hair cut. I didn't notice till I got home unfortunately. I full on told her I was coming to get it evened out and fixed because I had done my own hair and needed it shaped up. More like a 15 dollar hair cut is what i got. Not any different then what i had done on my own. She also attempted a hard sale on a pack of products for 50 bucks that I didn't ask for or need. I just declined. Was pretty disappointed in all of it. Won't be going back. The male barber was very obviously not in a good mood and definitely did not know how to do a flat top. So why didn't they say that when we called in? I had to point out that the sides were uneven, he also didn't even get my husband's hair wet and once home, after a shower, uneven spots everywhere that I had to fix. Suffice to say, my husband was very upset about the bad haircut. Sadly we are still on the lookout for some good hair stylists. This is not the place to go. read more

Excellent family run barber shop. This is a proper barber shop with after shave and straight razors.

Brought my son here to get a simple comb over cut. #2 on the sides and scissor the top up. The lady literally did it in 5 minutes tops & it was like a chop job in him. There's no quality work here- she left a big chunk on the side and didn't blend it in, and the back of his head is not blended at all just all choppy and uneven. Terrible job! Not worth $20- go to fantastic sams and it's cheaper! Also another lady was doing a clients hair when she was finished she called another client over to start his hair and didn't sweep up the old hair off the floor and chair or wipe down and disinfect the chair and cover. Never coming here or recommending this place especially without sanitizing precautions in place! read more

Was visiting the area for the weekend and came in for a last minute cut. I showed the barber a picture of what I wanted, and ended up with nothing like what I asked for. Worse, the fade was terrible, and my beard wasn't evenly trimmed. I had random long hairs all over the place. I kept asking him to fix it but he finally took off the cape and walked to the register without finishing the job. Very unprofessional and seemed like he didn't care about my business. read more

I like this place but Im only offered one barber to cut my hair the chair next to the window, he did a fantastic job the first time and now it feels like a rush to get me out with a very noticeable line around my head. Went here a while back and kinda disappointed I didn't have the same experience other people did. Seems like the more experienced barber was on his phone at the time, and I was the only customer there. The back of the neck shave was definitely a good experience. But when it came to the actual hair cut, that was not worth the shave. When I tell him "I want the step cut about as high as yours" I'd expect they can look at the mirror and do the same, but no. I was already pressed for time to get the cut that I asked him to just clean it up. Then told them I wasn't happy with the cut and just wanted them to touch it up to what I wanted. I just hate having to go back to the same person to do a job right the second time around. read more
