This review has been due for about a month now. Honestly, I was uncertain of what to think about this because I could not find the spot, but after communicating with Octavio, I realized that it is located in a Salon with this page as his personal landing page. When I had my haircut, it was very long for a male (over a foot long). He previewed an example video I had shared with him prior to the appointment and parted my hair systematically to be able to cut my hair efficiently. And on top of properly chopping off plenty of my hair, he also gave me a very professional fade that made me look sharp. If anyone is skeptical about going here for a cut, I highly advise you to try him out at least once and go from there. I have moved 75 miles away, but I still intend to return for another haircut because I was incredibly pleased with the results I got. read more

Just got my haircut from Octavio yesterday. I'm still amazed by how great it looks. He works off appointment, which is great because it basically means you'll be seen right away and won't have to sit around, waiting, for too long if at all. Octavio is really professional and detailed in his work. He works with precision and you can tell he's really skilled in his craft. He takes the time to see what kind of haircut you want and can take feedback on the fly if something needs to be adjusted as well (trust the process though, it'll come out great!). Pricing is very reasonable as well. I'm glad I found a "go-to" barber as my last one is too far from where I live and quite a hassle to drive to. I generally cut my own hair but for bigger occasions, I'll gladly go to a barber and save time from the process. Octavio is located right off the freeway so this will work out well. It had been about 2 months since my last cut. I would normally go to my barber in San Diego but with my busy schedule I haven't had the chance to visit him. I'm picky with barbers because I normally ask for a medium skin fade which I've had butchered before by barbers I've tried. First off, I am extremely picky when it comes to my barbers. I try and take everything into account. Cut quality, friendliness, professional manner, time management, etc. Octavio passes them all with flying colors and remains my go to even though I drive out of my way to see him. My hair is really thick and I've had other barbers struggle with getting a consistent cut but this isn't a problem for him. For starters, the convenience of Octavio's barbershop right off the 15 at Hidden Valley in the Dollar Tree/Starbucks/Chase bank shopping center is great as it is easily accessible. Yeah so I had a appointment and he is just horrible. He wasn't clear about his intentions especially with cutting hair, he doesn't even work at a shop it's a eyebrow place. Also when I was texting him he his so vulger and rude just unprofessional. There's many hacks like this in the system so you have to weed them out. He has no people skills at all even one of my friends tried to text him for a appointment and he was lagging and not be prompt on the day. This guy is not it, just like many others get someone who cares and has better skills especially customer wise.
