You could really taste the authenticity of the green tea, and everything was very well balanced. It wasn't too sweet, and there was just the right amount of lemon and honey. Very refreshing, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. The shop was clean and tidy. I did have to wait a little while before my order was taken because no one was really up front initially, but eventually someone did come over to help me. They also have a contactless kiosk where you can place your order yourself and then simply wait for it to be prepared, which is a convenient option. I'm pretty sure it's a different boba shop now. Upon entering I did notice that it was pretty dimmed in here. A good amount of tables but what's odd is they taped all their outlets so you can't charge any devices. That's not customer friendly especially since I was going to be here for several hours. My phone got down to 5% while I was here and I felt I might get confronted if I lifted the tape to charge my phone so I didn't. Haha I decided to get an apple green tea with boba and their sandwich combo. I got the fish katsu sandwich and it came with fries. For a boba spot, their specialty food was pretty yummy! I ate half of the fries and half the sandwich and I was pretty full. I ate the rest of the fries during dinner time and the next morning i toasted the half sandwich and ate it for breakfast. With tip, everything was about $23. I noticed they had gameboards and a little community library with books. I was able to focus and read for a few hours. Scones are usually brittle, but this mochi scone they have is really delicious, you can taste the strawberry in every bite and it doesn't taste artificial! The mochi is so good and they warm it for you and it's just soft, fluffy and melty, I would honestly come back to buy a few of these. I also ate it the next day and after microwaving it for a few seconds, it was just as fresh as the day before! I also ordered the mango panna cotta which was awesome, it's higher in price but they give you a huge portion of the dessert! There was plenty of panna cotta and the layer of mango jello that sits on top in combination with the plentiful, super big, juicy mangos topping, this dessert was a winner in my book! Overall I had a really wonderful experience at Boba cha with the staff and food, I'd definitely come back to try other drinks and get some of them scones.
