Fantastic experience from start to finish - Ray was professional and friendly on the phone, he asked me to send pictures of my patio door lock which was not working to make sure he could replace it with the right part. Once he established that he could fix it, we quickly arranged a time for the next day via text message. Jordan was just as professional and friendly as Ray, and in no time we could lock our sliding door again, quite a relief! The fee was reasonable as well. read more

By the time NORCAL Lock and Key called me back I had called someone else. Maybe next time.

This is long overdue. I apologize for the late review. But, I would highly recommend NorCal locks. They're very reasonable in price, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Ray was very nice, easy going, in all the explanation regarding the process of rekeying our home. Communication was on point. Thank you Ray. Jordan came over to do the work. Hey was great! Very professional and easy going as well. He installed several doors with new locks and our master bedroom door with keyless door lock. Works awesome! And very happy with the work and Norcal's professionalism. Thank you gentlemen. read more

Of course our front security door lock jammed on a Monday morning with a packed schedule. We called NorCal Locksmith with the hope to at least get someone to come out for a repair sometime during the week. Surprise of surprises Ray returned our call almost immediately and was able to come to our home within the hour! Ray repair the security door lickety-split and even did some additional door tweaking to make sure everything was perfect. He had everything he needed for the repair in his truck, so we were back on our Monday schedule with barely skipping a beat! NorCal prices are so reasonable and fair that its easy to call them for home service. They are worth every penny that you don't mine paying! read more

Efficient and courteous. Did a great job! On rekeying our house when we were selling!

NorCal Locksmith is a mobile locksmith business that can provide you with all your residential and commercial needs. I highly recommend to anyone that needs door hardware and lock services in the area! Ray, the owner of the business, is quick to respond, efficient, and friendly. His pricing is straightforward and reasonable compared to other locksmiths in the area. I have worked with Ray on multiple occasions at various properties in the Roseville area, and he is always my first (and last) call. The prompt service makes my job easier. Thank you Ray! Overall, NorCal Locksmith is a reliable service and always exceeds expectations. read more

Ray is a true professional. We recently purchased a new home and elected to have the entire house re-keyed. I wasn't sure what to expect with this type of service, but Ray ensured that I was taken care of. I called a few other locksmiths in the area that seemed fairly priced and respectful, but once I spoke with Ray he elevated the locksmith game. He was informative, transparent and extremely happy to help. It may sound strange, but Ray is truly passionate about being a locksmith. He's damn good at it as well. I also had Ray correct a lock in the garage that wasn't turning into the lock position smoothly and required some door adjustment to get it to work. He made some corrections, but after about a week the problem returned. When I called Ray, he apologized profusely as if it was his error and offered to come back out immediately to correct the problem. This wasn't his workmanship, but rather an issue with our door and lock. However, Ray felt that he should have caught the problem the first time and wanted to make it right. This is real customer service. All in all this guy is the real deal. I wouldn't trust this type of service to anyone but this guy. Thanks Ray! read more

I'd give this guy 10 stars if I could. He is incredibly talented. I had a situation with a new door lock/handle I had purchased. Didn't quite fit right, some holes in our wood door had been made by a previous installer in order to make it fit (but the holes were never dealt with), and the lock cylinder fell out completely in pieces. I had gone through two other locksmiths who couldn't seem to solve the problem. My husband was ready to throw the entire door out. Ray truly saved the day (and my door). He is an outside the box thinker (which I greatly admire). He offers solutions and clearly knows his stuff. Honest, courteous & kind. Thanks again Ray !! read more

Since I'm not from the area, I was yelping to find a local locksmith who could help with rekeying a door in a meeting room I use for work. Ray is basically a one man operation, but he operates well. When I called to set up the appointment, Ray gave me an estimate. My actual price ended up being a little higher- there was some unexpected trouble with the actual lock I was trying to have fixed. During our appointment, Ray took a phone call with customer. He was polite, gave realistic time frames, and accurate estimates. -Accepts credit cards, has merchant machine. Bonus points for that. I'd definitely use NorCal Locksmith again! Thanks Ray. read more

I called to have a padlock fixed and received a return phone call the very next morning. Knowing that the amount of repair was going to exceed the price of the lock, he (sorry I did not get his name, so rude of me...) made a recommendation on how I could repair it myself. He took a little time out of his day to speak with me and for that I am a fan! read more

Outstanding Service! I had a relatively small front door lock issue. Ray called and troubleshooting the problem with me, determined we needed an appointment. Made one for a few days later, showed up on time, fixed it for the price quoted... my go to locksmith! read more

Ray is great! Responsive, very reasonably priced, honest etc! Would definitely use him again!!

When I called looking for a locksmith to come out ASAP at approx 2 pm, Ray was one of four businesses I called. Three of the four calls resulted in "the earliest we can come to you is tomorrow" responses, including Ray. (The fourth call never returned my message.) However, Ray was the only one who offered me two other businesses to call (one of which I had already spoke to) & the only one who explained his cost break down when he quoted me over the phone. He also provided the earliest time to schedule me. I'm glad I called him back after calling around. Ray arrived on time the next day, was quick (without being rushed), informative & personable. I'm very pleased with Ray & his service. And his pricing is very reasonable! I would definitely call him if I ever needed a locksmith again & I would strongly recommend him to others. Thanks Ray! read more

These guys are great! I requested a quote to have a new deadbolt installed and have 3 doors re-keyed. Within 30 minutes, I received a quote, and was able to schedule an appointment to have the work done the same day. I received updates from Ray when the technician would be arriving. When Jordan (tech) arrived on site, he was quick and efficient. If you need fast, reliable service, I definitely recommend this company! read more

Super fast response time, helpful, friendly and true to his word. Grateful for the change out of our safes lock.

Ray was great! Fast friendly service. Extremely knowledgeable about his trade. I would/will recommend him to all of my friends and Lincoln neighbors!!! Thanks again NorCal Locksmith! read more

Ray, owner of NorCal Locksmith, is exceptionally responsive by cell or text. He helped us when a Medeco key broke off in one of our door locks. (The Medeco locks were installed by a previous owner prior to 1994. Medeco keys are almost impossible to duplicate and seem to be a home security overkill.) Due to Ray's obvious competence and demeanor, we had all of our Medeco locks replaced with standard Schlage locks a week later. This was performed quickly and with complete professionalism. I give NorCal Locksmith my highest recommendation. read more

I would recommend this locksmith to everyone... The nicest guy ever ....Ray got everything that I needed done and then some. I needed my front door lock changed and he had that done quicker than I have ever experienced. Then he helped me with an electric door lock and it was a little tricky probably because I'm not very technically disposed!. He was very patient and we finally got it working and I am super Duper happy I needed my front door lock changed and he had that done quicker than I had ever experienced. I had a problem with the deadbolt on the front door of my house. It was sticking and I thought that I needed to either have the lock replaced or repaired. Given that I currently have all the locks on my house keyed the same way, I didn't want to purchase another lock and have to deal with multiple keys. I checked Yelp for a local locksmith with good reviews and found NorCal Locksmith. Based on the reviews I read, I decided to give them a call. The person I spoke with asked what the issue was. He asked if I had tried to lubricate the lock and while I had sprayed some lubricant on the bolt itself, it was suggested that I could try to lubricate the internals, if I was willing to give that a shot. If that didn't work or if I was not willing to try, he would be more than willing to come out and take a look himself. Really? Someone making a suggestion that would save me money? That's a rare find these days!!! To make a long review short...I unscrewed the two screws that held on the bolt knob and plate, sprayed some WD-40 to clear out some of the gunk, wiped it down and added some oil to the mechanism. Once it was all put back together, everything worked great! When/if I need a locksmith for other work, I will definitely call on NorCal Locksmith -- additionally, if I hear of anyone who is looking for a quality locksmith, I will send them to NorCal Locksmith! read more

I found Ray on Yelp when we had an interior door that was locked by one of my toddlers and the key was missing. He arranged to come over the next day at a time convenient for me. Over the phone, he gave me an idea what the pricing would be (basically, he told me exactly what it would be). He was prompt and courteous. It took him less than 3 minutes to pick the lock. I was ready to pay him but he offered to make a key for the door which he said was complimentary. I took him up on the offer as I like free things. Using the Yelp 10% off discount, my total bill came out to 58.50 ($50 service fee and $15.00 for the lockout service). Awesome service, fast and efficient. Like, like, like. read more

What can I say??? Ray ROCKS! He's professional, on time, honest, super skilled, friendly, affordable....the list goes on and on. If you're in the area and need some security stuff done he is the GO TO man. I don't laud so loudly often, but in this case I'm happy to make an exception. I'll def call him again-he's helping me with my gate even still. I'm thrilled to recommend him to everyone. Thanks, Ray! I'm ALMOST out of singing Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me" thanks to you.... hallelujah! (Least I'll be locked up safe....) read more

He took my info and got someone out that afternoon to help me out. The tech (Jordan?) was extremely polite and professional. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Thank you NorCal Locksmith! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company, and the owner, Ray. I had an unusual situation take place with the lock on my door handle, Ray came out, assessed the situation and took care of the problem. Ray is extremely nice, proficient, and went the distance, diagnosing a couple of issues that he went on to fix. He went above and beyond what he had to do. I sincerely appreciate what he did. His pricing only included the piece that had to be replaced and his trip fee. This is the second time I have done business with NorCal Locksmith and would recommend him to any one that is seeking a reputable locksmith. read more

Norcal Locksmith does excellent work at a great price. Punctual, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend this company!

Ray was wonderful. I needed locks changed on my new house immediately! Since the former owner's friends kept helping themselves during escrow to items included in the sale. Ray came out, changed all the locks and even noticed the well house as he was leaving and stopped to do that too! He refused to let me pay him for it. Wonderful customer service, give this man all your lock business! read more

My cleaner accidentally locked me out. I called NorCal Locksmith and the locksmith answered right away. He came out within 15 minutes rescuing me & my melting ice cream. Unbeknownst to me, I have a special lock that doesn't just pop open. But Greg had it op an in no time & matched my front door key with my screen door key. He was very personable & a pro. I would definitely recommend him and use his services in the future. It was refreshing to experience excellent customer service. read more

"Ray has performed work on my house at 2 different times. He changed the locks in our house when we first moved in and then helped secure our house with additional deadbolts at our request. From my first interaction with Ray I was very impressed. He was always patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and sincere.
