Big bill- extra fees- and low commitment to customer care. And we're talking about children here. It's mainstream process through, don't make any waves type care, get you out the door to Walgreens for over the counter as fast as possible. And the other yelpers aren't kidding....you're going to wait. Block out a half day. 2. They are not capable of sensitive administrative processing. If you need it to happen- it won't. We had to pay 20$ for a physicians sign off on dental work....yes just the signature. Rivertown is going to get into your pocket through quite a few tunnels- like buying a car. "Convenience Fee" type stuff. 3. Front desk assistants are congruent with city DMV and probate ladies. Don't bother them with a question or a call. You'll be lucky to find a topic they deem important. 4. There is no such thing as a "sick side" and a "healthy side". That's a gimmick to make you more comfortable and snag the business of the simple minded. They bottle neck all of the kids into the same hallways doors rooms bathrooms and common areas for services/treatment so don't be so quick to assume the sick kids are quarantined off and you're breathing separate air. Because I live 1.5 hours away, I cleared it with the office to see all 3 of my kids in one appointment. I confirmed the appointments the day before. The day comes and I load my kids up and drive all the way there. When I walk in, I'm not greeted and they pretend I don't exist for about 2 minutes. When finally acknowledged, they refuse to see all 3 of my kids. The owner refuses to make an exception to the policy. I explain that I cleared all this when I made the appointment and reiterated my travel. I then repeatedly asked if I can just speak to the owner and I'm told over and over "she wouldn't want to speak to you" like I'm some kind of pariah. I'm not yelling or being disrespectful in any way, but apparently I'm not worthy of a conversation. When I ask why, same response. Then I'm told I basically have to choose which kid is less important to me because they'll only see two. But yeah...I'm the problem.

After all, it was his appointment for "medicine review". My daughter had done some research and talked with other parents in similar situations with similar negative side effects and wanted to discuss possible other options with the doctor. When my daughter began to talk, the doctor was visibly agitated and became immediately confrontational. She verbally attacked my daughter with condescending remarks as if how dare she question these medications. She then said, "Oh so you are the doctor now and I have nothing to say". She just sat there and started typing her notes. I then asked her a question and she said "ask her, she's the doctor" and pointed at my daughter. I questioned her comment to me and she said "I'm not going to repeat myself". She stood up and said "good luck" and opened the door and walked out. We didn't know what had just happened. We were both in shock. We walked to the counter to check out and the girl said "I'm sorry it looks like Dr. Chaundra has released you as a patient". The girls behind the counter were very kind and sympathetic. The look in there eyes was obvious that we weren't the only ones to have ever experienced this behavior. So we left there with NO doctor, NO answers, NO plan for a precious 7 year old. How could a doctor prescribe narcotics to a child and then in a matter of minutes just leave this child hanging with no direction? Completely unprofessional and inhumane! Still in disbelief...
