Guys- from A normal realistic parent, not someone just ranting on here due to 1 bad experience…read more 1. Rivertown will get the job done- but the same way the insurance companies do these days. Big bill- extra fees- and low commitment to customer care. And we're talking about children here. It's mainstream process through, don't make any waves type care, get you out the door to Walgreens for over the counter as fast as possible. And the other yelpers aren't kidding....you're going to wait. Block out a half day. 2. They are not capable of sensitive administrative processing. If you need it to happen- it won't. We had to pay 20$ for a physicians sign off on dental work....yes just the signature. Rivertown is going to get into your pocket through quite a few tunnels- like buying a car. "Convenience Fee" type stuff. 3. Front desk assistants are congruent with city DMV and probate ladies. Don't bother them with a question or a call. You'll be lucky to find a topic they deem important. 4. There is no such thing as a "sick side" and a "healthy side". That's a gimmick to make you more comfortable and snag the business of the simple minded. They bottle neck all of the kids into the same hallways doors rooms bathrooms and common areas for services/treatment so don't be so quick to assume the sick kids are quarantined off and you're breathing separate air. Be smart...go somewhere else there is plenty to offer in Columbus.

I have been calling Zoe pediatrics (since that's where I got the Dx) and talking to people to get a referral since February, early February and now here we are almost mid April and I still can't get a referral to get my daughter some help and to get her into school. They are hindering my daughter's ability to get help and to get into the school, but they don't seem to care I don't know how hard it is to do a referral. I used to work in a medical office and it doesn't take that long but for some reason two months and counting and I still can't get a referral. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST !!!!

What keeps me coming back is that it's always clean, not too crowded, and the staff is always pleasant. However today when I called to gauge how busy they were and if they could accommodate a walk in, the gentleman that answered was extremely rude. I understand being booked up, but he was dismissive, talked over me when I was trying to explain the nature of my visit, and ultimately hung up in my face- but not before letting me know his name was Kenny Kong, the owner and operator. Mr. Kong's conduct directly contradicts the very positive qualities that have otherwise drawn and kept my family loyal to Zoe Pediatrics for so many years . I believe it is crucial for an owner to exemplify the highest level of patient care and respect and I would expect a higher level of professionalism from someone who is at the helm of a family-focused medical practice. I am really disappointed to know that's how he treats the families that support his practice.

I am still in shock over Dr. Chaundra's behavior that I witnessed yesterday. Seems like a bad…read moredream. My daughter had prepared some questions to ask the doctor regarding the new medications she had prescribed my grandson for ADHD and depression. After all, it was his appointment for "medicine review". My daughter had done some research and talked with other parents in similar situations with similar negative side effects and wanted to discuss possible other options with the doctor. When my daughter began to talk, the doctor was visibly agitated and became immediately confrontational. She verbally attacked my daughter with condescending remarks as if how dare she question these medications. She then said, "Oh so you are the doctor now and I have nothing to say". She just sat there and started typing her notes. I then asked her a question and she said "ask her, she's the doctor" and pointed at my daughter. I questioned her comment to me and she said "I'm not going to repeat myself". She stood up and said "good luck" and opened the door and walked out. We didn't know what had just happened. We were both in shock. We walked to the counter to check out and the girl said "I'm sorry it looks like Dr. Chaundra has released you as a patient". The girls behind the counter were very kind and sympathetic. The look in there eyes was obvious that we weren't the only ones to have ever experienced this behavior. So we left there with NO doctor, NO answers, NO plan for a precious 7 year old. How could a doctor prescribe narcotics to a child and then in a matter of minutes just leave this child hanging with no direction? Completely unprofessional and inhumane! Still in disbelief...
