If I could give a -5 I would my daughter was diagnosed with autism and I'm trying to get her into ABA therapy. I have been calling Zoe pediatrics (since that's where I got the Dx) and talking to people to get a referral since February, early February and now here we are almost mid April and I still can't get a referral to get my daughter some help and to get her into school. They are hindering my daughter's ability to get help and to get into the school, but they don't seem to care I don't know how hard it is to do a referral. I did a review a couple of weeks ago... my child did not receive the care I thought she should have received ... we have been going to that office for 5 years !!! I got a call from the office mgr he was nice but I still came away without the requested medication.. I let him know that I would not be back... they had prescribed the medicine previously but now Dr. Kong took issue with it and refused to prescribe it. Soooooo I got a letter today letting me know I cannot bring my child back due to my BELLIGERENT behavior..... ha ha......very funny... so dont fight for ur child .. dont complain about your concern for ur childs care or you will not be allowed back into the office !!!! my son is 12 years old. He was going to Zoës from the time he was three open till he was 11. There is a Stephanie Kong or Hwang. She is the owner of this place. All the years my kid had been going there I had never saw her, and when I did see her, she gave me some wrong information about my kid. She kept telling me my kids had eczema when they in fact did not, another doctor at Zoës, confirmed that my kid did not have eczema, which I knew. So when I took my kids back to the doctor and Stephanie walked in, I asked her if she wouldn't mind meeting another doctor . She got very upset and put me and my kids at the clinic. I would never go back there. I would never refer anyone to this place because of the owner. I had a horrible experience there and that was the place my kids were used to going for years and I had no problems until this Stephanie person. The owner came in with her nasty attitude and her false information about my kids. I would never take my kids back there now because I was put out because I can go back but because she's a horrible person and she didn't care about my kids situation at all. She is not nice, and I believe she's in the wrong profession because she don't care! read more

Bottom line: rude doctors, poor office amenities, inaccurate billing and bad customer service. The front office team was great and so was the nurse. But the "perky practitioner" was so rude, sour faced and barely spent 30 seconds with us (not exaggerated). They charged me a copay when I didn't owe one. We are military. I posted a review and never heard back. Go to Pediatric Acute Care. After the terrible experience here, I went to Ped Accute Care by the theater/Moe's. They were fast and so friendly. They also didn't charge me a copay because they checked my insurance and did things right. I'll never go to Zoe again. Update: I did eventually receive the refund made to the correct name and a nice note from a member of their leadership staff. Unfortunatel I am looking for a new pediatrician due to Dr. Brown leaving the area. I have tried to use Zoe Peds, but the customer service from the owner, Mr. Freddy Kong is deplorable. He showed me no respect and could care less about my concerns, so if he is in charge I can only imagine what his staff is like. read more

If I was able to give them NO stars I would. When I first started taking my son there in March of 2018 had no issues, but over a year later, their billing department STILL can't bill anything correctly. The CEO and his wife Dr. Kong, DO NOT return calls, and they do not understand that when your hindering someone's child to be seen over $50 that's not even the clients responsibility,but the ins companies and the client has told you multiple times as also the ins company has also. They do not call you back to apologise, they wanted that $50 from ins and from myself and since I refused knowing that ins was supposed to cover it, they have made it to where my son can no longer go there! Stephen is the only good nurse that they really have, he cares and is passionate about his paitents. He will be the only one my family misses. They not only lost one paitent, they was about to have another in Aug. Btw the receptionist was laughing at our situation and didn't want to help either. Go anywhere but here! read more

We have visited the after hours clinic 3 times (we go to another pediatrician) It is very convenient when you find out your little one has a food allergy over the weekend and needs to be seen. Much better than having to go to the ER with an 8 month old. The staff at Zoe's is so nice and they make sure you are taken care of as soon as you arrive. They were very sweet to our baby boy and got him the medicine he needed to help him feel all better. The wait time was not too long either. So glad this clinic is located close to us, would highly recommend to anyone with a little one! read more

My daughter 7 years came in with a problem that involved the lab techs to draw blood. It was probably the worst thing that could ever happen. I know how it feels to have a needle digging inside of you and she did a horrible job. The next night 9pm they called me and said that they did not have enough blood that she needed to come back. Scared me so bad that I though something was terribly wrong. I rushed her as soon as I could they next day. Same thing happened. Her iron was just low. I will never use them again read more

If I could give Zoe Pediatrics zero stars, I would. We learned of the practice 10 months ago when we moved here. They had come highly recommended, so I had high expectations. SHORT STORY: -They insist your baby get blood draws in the arm (an extremely traumatizing experience) instead of the normal finger prick to check for lead levels. -They insist on taking baby's temp rectally when under 2 mos of age, which is EXTREMELY unnecessary unless baby is running a very high fever or something comparable. -They will not accept your baby into the practice if you refused vitamin K or erythromycin at birth (Two very optional practices every hospital is okay with forgoing when requested by parent). -They are not respectful of your time. -They are ridiculously arrogant and egotistical. Never, ever would I recommend this practice. LONG STORY: ISSUE ONE: When I called, they said I couldn't make an appointment until I filled out the patient information. I had said, "so I can call later today after filling out the information to make the appointment?" The front desk receptionist said, "no, you have to wait 24 hours." I thought that was odd, but I abided. I called next day and that particular receptionist booked the appointment for me without even asking if I had known of the new patient documents! ISSUE TWO: We finally got our appointment with Dr. Virgil- apparently the only doctor there with any bedside manor. When we got there, my son had Dr. Kong... Who is apparently the owner. She is the most insensitive, arrogant physician I have ever met. She insisted on taking blood from my son's arm to test for lead (instead of the standard finger prick). When I refused, she said I should find a different practice. I had mentioned I thought it would be a lot of trauma for my son, especially considering he was having major abdominal surgery the following week. She retorted by saying, "If he was my grandson, he wouldn't be having this surgery". ISSUE THREE: When it came time for me to think of a pediatrician for our new baby, I called Zoe to see if there was anything I needed to do beforehand. The receptionist said, "no, just walk in the day or two after you have her" (We were having a home birth, so needed a 48 hr checkup). Though, after having the baby, we learned that we had to walk in only between 8-10am AND were supposed to set up a meeting before baby was born to discuss practice rules and regulations (apparently, a lot of people have problems with their mandatory stipulations). After 3 hours in the office, waiting for them to simply weigh and check our baby's temp, we decided we were going to find some place else, which we did that day. ISSUE FOUR: Just two days after our final experience with them, we received a "Dismissal from Practice" Letter. THEY rejected US. I'm appalled. There are many ways to acquire results like body temp and lead levels. To use such antiquated, traumatizing practices on babies is disgusting and unnecessary. DR KONG NEEDS TO GET OFF HER HIGH HORSE. read more

The doctors and staff at Zoe's were always very nice and professional with my children, so this is in no way a reflection on them. I have a dispute over a portion of charges on a bill. Some I agree with, some I do not. I was told to talk to Freddie Kong, who I found out today is the COO of the company, and he is one of the rudest people that I have spoken to in recent memory. He was loud, aggressive,and very disrespectful. He even told me that he only deals with facts and that me disagreeing with him was my opinion. I informed him that he was incorrect, and that it is a fact that I disagree with him. He refused payment for the portion of the bill that I agree is accurate and told me that my children will not be seen until the entire bill is paid. For transparency, the dispute is from 2016 and my children have been seen several times since 2016. They refused to see them because of this bill in January 2020. I will not be taking my children back to any Zoe's location as long as Freddie Kong is there. read more

We went for the first time to Zoe Pediatrics in Williams Road, and i am glad we did, because we just loved it. We went for our twins 2 years check up and vaccinations. The staff is so friendly, and even the doctor. They were hugging the kids to reassure them during the shots. The clinic is baby friendly, my twins already felt comfortable playing all around. Before we leave, the kids were allowed to choose 2 gifts each because of their shots. And, the plus, it's open on Sundays in case of any emergencies. I truly recommend it. read more

I took my kids for a well check up and after they were done providing services I went to the check out desk to ask how much I owed. The front desk clerk said nothing that my insurance covered the costs. Two weeks later they sent me a bill for services that I never asked for and I tried fighting with them over it, but they dismiss me. Be aware that if you go for a well check up be sure not to discuss anything else other than what you are going for or they will charge you for it like if they provided services. If I could rate this place I would give them 1/2 of star. read more

Talk about freaking out, then wanted to send us 3 hours away to a specialist THEY REFERRED, when Columbus Ga has the Best in the state right here. Went to see specialist here NOT 3 hours away and they said Zoe's EKG must be broke your Sonia fine. Went back to Zoe's for follow up and told them ekg wasn't working right - but they didn't fix it. Oh and waited and waited and waited when we had follow up appointment and no one was even being seen that day either. Do NOT take your children here. All of their offices are about getting as much money from you and your insurance company as possible! Every single time I brought my kids in for a Wellcheck, they would make double bill the insurance (and myself to get a copay) for a Wellcheck and a sick visit without even mentioning it during the office visit. For example, I would bring my child in for a Wellcheck and the doctor would chart and bill that the baby had a diaper rash so they could collect more money and essentially charge the insurance and twice for the visit without my child ever being prescribed any cream at all. I believe that this company practices "upcoding" which is a type of insurance fraud. I will be reporting them to the department of insurance. Expect there to be mistakes in billing, incompetent employees, and unethical practices. Save yourself the trouble, and go down the road to another pediatrician or pediatric after hours provider. read more

Worst Dr office in GA!!! I'd give them a ZERO if I could! Dr Linda Gordon, acted like she was high on something. Didnt help me at all. Sent me to the Health Dept. Without a script to do a biopsy of a boil and they said they need a script and they do not do that there anyway!!! It was so Ghetto! Dr Gordon was whispering instead of talking, very RUDE and arrogant. Didn't hv my paperwork with her when she came in! I had to tell her to go get it!! I was treated like garbage! Stay away from Zoe. Definitely long hold times. For example right now as I am writing this review, I have been on hold for 9 minutes already. I called a couple of days ago and requested my son be referred to a psychologist that accepts Wellcare. No call back. I do work in a call center and I cannot just wait around for a phone call so I advised the nurse that day that I was not on the phone that day and that I wanted a call back that day. Nothing. Which is why I am on hold now. Calling back. Requesting a record of the shot records is ridiculous. I was supposed to submit a shot record for an appointment for childcare ( which I was not advised of until the day before) so I assumed that they could just print one off for me. Definitely wrong. They have printed off shot records right after the appointment (shot appointment) in the past for me, so I did not understand why they could not do it for me that same day. Definitely not happy about that. I took that up with the managers there and I had to call the Thomaston office manager and I feel like they just brushed it off. Right now during my hold time, someone answered the phone and I advised them what I was calling about and the lady stated "So you need to be transferred to a nurse?" I told her that the first lady that answered the phone was supposed to be answering. Got transferred to Steven. He stated that they had no record of me even calling on Tuesday. So now I have to wait again for a callback, they have to leave me a voicemail and I have to call them back again. Because I am not allowed to answer my phone today. I told him this is ridiculous. The nurses that are in the rooms with the kids are nice to me. I have never had any complaints towards their attitudes towards me. Just the service is what is ridiculous. Don't, get me wrong. I understand there are turn around times for certain requests. I work in the Medical field as well. But when I had my last minute appointment that I was not aware of, I expected more. I missed the appointment and had to wait another month for another appointment because they didn't print off a shot record for me that day.
