I have been taking my children to Zoe Pediatrics for almost 10 years. Even with an appointment I tend to wait 2-3 hours to be seen by the doctor. What keeps me coming back is that it's always clean, not too crowded, and the staff is always pleasant. However today when I called to gauge how busy they were and if they could accommodate a walk in, the gentleman that answered was extremely rude. I understand being booked up, but he was dismissive, talked over me when I was trying to explain the nature of my visit, and ultimately hung up in my face- but not before letting me know his name was Kenny Kong, the owner and operator. Mr. Kong's conduct directly contradicts the very positive qualities that have otherwise drawn and kept my family loyal to Zoe Pediatrics for so many years . I believe it is crucial for an owner to exemplify the highest level of patient care and respect and I would expect a higher level of professionalism from someone who is at the helm of a family-focused medical practice. I am really disappointed to know that's how he treats the families that support his practice. read more

They refused care for my 1.5 year old daughter over a missed appointment in the past and claimed it was too much of an inconvenience for them. my childRen (3 of them) have been patients since the clinic opened in Columbus Ga. I was just informed on Wednesday when I called they were dismissed from the practice. I had no knowledge before then because my children have not been sick so we've had no reason to be there. However, my middle is having a serious mental health crisis and I was trying to get her seen. Apparently I missed too many visits in a six month period. I was able to file a petition to which the CEO Dr Stephanie Kong denied. 10 years ago, I moved my children to her practice, and she did not have near the name for her company or the patients! In fact, you've only had one other location open at that time in Barnesville Her success and a success of Zoe pediatrics was built off loyal customers. Last year, my uncle & aunt died, my best friend died (in my house), my fiancé went to prison. I lived through more trauma than ever & instead of being understanding she denied my appeal to keep my children there, while my daughter has been having thoughts of suicide so she can't be seen! Apparently I'm the problem. This doctors office is so incredibly rude. They have a 2 kid/adult policy. Because I live 1.5 hours away, I cleared it with the office to see all 3 of my kids in one appointment. I confirmed the appointments the day before. The day comes and I load my kids up and drive all the way there. When I walk in, I'm not greeted and they pretend I don't exist for about 2 minutes. When finally acknowledged, they refuse to see all 3 of my kids. The owner refuses to make an exception to the policy. I explain that I cleared all this when I made the appointment and reiterated my travel. I then repeatedly asked if I can just speak to the owner and I'm told over and over "she wouldn't want to speak to you" like I'm some kind of pariah. I'm not yelling or being disrespectful in any way, but apparently I'm not worthy of a conversation. When I ask why, same response. Then I'm told I basically have to choose which kid is less important to me because they'll only see two. But yeah...I'm the problem. read more

If I could I would give front office zero stars! The worst person in the world is sitting right in front with her angry and disgusted face. And another zero stars for billing office. Since we moved back to Columbus from another state, we didn't receive even one single bill and we noticed on their website we owed for months we were in different state. In April this year I paid what we owed for both daughters and specifically asked for billing statements to see what exactly I'm paying for! Until this day we didn't receive anything and when I took my daughter there because of long term belly ache (they didn't help her when we were there week and half ago), that mad lady from front office told me we owe another $160 from last September! She said it just came now from insurance. Really? Our old insurance was closed at the end of the year 2023. And she told me to pay $270 (blindly without any billing statement again - $160 new bill for last year plus $60 from last week and half ago visit plus new $50 copay) or she is canceling our appointment. And so she did!!!! What disgusting behavior kicking us out, it wasn't my fault they have mess in billing department!!! They are absolutely unorganized. Plus some nurses are absolutely terrible (my youngest has trauma from one nurse sticking TWO testing sticks deep inside of her nose, because she just wanted, even when I said NO, one enough!! If I could give them no stars I would. This place is very unprofessional. My son was a patient and one of the doctors told some untrue things about me. He basically a liar. I cannot remember his name, but he works for Zoe Pediatrics. I was referred out to another doctor's office and there were some issues. First of all, the x-ray was not sent to the referral, and I showed up for the appointment. The appointment had to be rescheduled. I had to actually go and take it over there. The doctor from Zoe Pediatrics contacted the receptionist at the referral. He never spoke to me and he later stated I cursed him out and he was dropping my son as patient. My kids have been going to Zoe for almost two years now and there are some pros and cons. Pros: -The front desk staff is​ ALWAYS nice and friendly... I can't remember a time where I checked in and was not greeted with a smile. -The Dr's office is very kid friendly! They have soooo many toys and books to keep the kids occupied​ until their called, and once the appointment is over they let the kids pick out a toy or two to take home. -Another great thing about Zoe Pediatrics is that they have an​ after hours office that's​ in the back of the building​ and it's open​ from 6-9. Now the Cons of Zoe. Cons: The wait time OMGGGGG... They are sooooooo slow. It doesn't​ even matter if you have an appointment set you are going to wait. So make sure you bring a magazine and some food. -Another thing that I really dislike is the fact that my kid sees​ multiple​ doctors. I feel like they don't​ really get to know my kids well because it's always someone​ new. ​ I would recommend Zoe, but only if you don't​ mind waiting a bit. read more

Wait time is horrible, even with appointments. I'm talking an hour plus each appointment to actually see a doctor. They force unnecessary procedures in order to make a profit. For example bloodwork for a sports physical. Lack of communication is a huge problem as well. When transferring to a new pediatrician, it is protocol to request records from the prior pediatrician. It took a year of going to zoe to chase down the records department to get my kids immunization records transferred over to Georgia. I went back in forth for 5 months doing their job for them. That's after they lost my kids immunization records that I physically gave them the first time we ever went there! It's a clown show unfortunately. Staff is friendly, just not very knowledgeable or competent in their roles. The convenience is not worth the headache. read more

went to this location for after hours for my child who had the flu and they told me to send her to school that Tuesday so okay I get a call about the labs they sent off and was told she had other stuff going and I was told to keep her home and she can go back to school that Thursday and I asked the doctor can she note that so I can pick up the excuse, get to the off to get the excuse and I was giving a hard time, told I couldn't get the excuse for the days she stayed home and when I asked why the owner started she didn't want to so I flipped and the police was called cause I wanted to why I could have an excuse for the days she told me to keep my child home. I have had so many issues with this office I don't know where to begin. I brought my 2 yr old in for a bee allergy panel and they called 10 days later with food allergy results. I asked about the bees and after being put on hold I was told "they have to test for food allergies when they test for any allergies and they ran out of blood for the bee test" like really? even if that was the case you wouldn't call me and tell me??? they lied and tried to cover it up. I had to bring her back to get pricked yet again. on another occasion they tried to give my child a vaccine they had already previously given them!!! most recent?!? I brought my daughter in for a sick visit in which they put it under a well child check. To make matters worse they put this in 3 months before she turned 4. What does this mean? Our insurance is through tricare. They only allow one well child check per year. Now that shes four (3 month later) she needs shots for school and daycare in which we can't get unless we pay out of pocket. Waiting until next year 3 months before she turns five is implausible considering she can't go to school and daycare without it. I called tricare and merged with Dr. Kong and he again was rude to not only me but the insurance gal. More than this he called me and my husband a liar saying she was not sick when she came in and she was! After he was off the line speaking with tricare since she was sick THIS WAS FRAUD!!! As soon as they send in the bill from June (they have 1 yr) I can file a report with the fraud division and believe me I am going to! Now I will pay out of pocket for now but best believe this doctor and his practice will be held responsible in the eyes of the law for their fraud And I won't stop until they do. Mamas if you bring your babies here be weary of this office. He knowingly put this through under false pretenses 3 months before her 4th birthday. This office is not about the wellness of your child but the funds they receive from the insurance companies. Why would I bring my sick child for a wellness check 3 months before she is due for her 4 year??? my children are seen regularly and the fact they waited until 3 months before is on them and now I will have to pay out of pocket until they are fully investigated . I witnessed first hand, Freddie Kong verbally assaulting an employee. There were parents and children in the waiting room when this happened. He was screaming and cussing so loudly that I could hear him on the other side of the office. Who cares if the physicians are good or not. A doctors office is supposed to be a SAFE PLACE where children feel safe and loved. I would NEVER advise anyone to take their children to this practice. Find another provider. FAST. read more

today my daughter had an appointment her throat hurts she could barely breathe and she's in a lot of pain. she's been sick before and they did a strep test on her several times and she's never had a strep throat so they wanted to do a test on her today I did not allow that to be done. So the lady Stephanie Kong she is the owner. She told me and my baby to leave. She has blocked my baby from being seen three weeks ago. She was supposed to send out a referral to the asthma and allergy clinic but she did not and she refused to do so. She has a horrible attitude she is very unethical as a doctor she don't care about people. She did not care about my five year old not being able to breathe or anything. my daughter has been going there her whole life and only in the last three months. This is my first review ever online but I feel so strongly that I want to post. We have been to Zoe On 3 occasions over the last 2 years. I have a healthy child that needed his annual exams twice and had a sore throat once. I have private insurance. The first annual visit they sent the lab work out of network and I had a whopping 450 dollar lab fee. The second year I said do not send lab out of network and yes again 400 dollar lab fee out of network. I did not request anything other than regular well visit with regular immunizations. The sore throat visit was 50 with a lab fee of 100 in which I never got a bill. The first time I got a bill was literally 6 months later from a collection agency. I absolutely will never recommend this office because of their billing practices. read more

They take self pay and offer discounts to those of us without insurance. Dr. Eleemari is amazing! The front staff is wonderful and so accommodating. My daughter loved it here. I strongly recommend Zoe's as a pediatric facility for your children. read more

Do NOT take your children here. All of their offices are about getting as much money from you and your insurance company as possible! Every single time I brought my kids in for a Wellcheck, they would make double bill the insurance (and myself to get a copay) for a Wellcheck and a sick visit without even mentioning it during the office visit. For example, I would bring my child in for a Wellcheck and the doctor would chart and bill that the baby had a diaper rash so they could collect more money and essentially charge the insurance and twice for the visit without my child ever being prescribed any cream at all. I believe that this company practices "upcoding" which is a type of insurance fraud. I will be reporting them to the department of insurance. Expect there to be mistakes in billing, incompetent employees, and unethical practices. Save yourself the trouble, and go down the road to another pediatrician or pediatric after hours provider. read more
