Got takeout at Noosa Beach Grill. While it looked delicious, unfortunately it did not hit for us. The fries tasted like it had been fried in old oil the day before and then reheated. The chicken sandwich was very juicy but surprisingly there was simply no flavor. We could not taste the hot honey or any flavor really. I needed to add a lot of ketchup to fully enjoy the sandwich. It might have been just this particular dish that was not satisfying at this location, which was unfortunate. read more

We ordered a burger and two orders of fishN'chips. For paying $60 for these three items we were very disappointed. The fish was soft and mushy, the fries were under cooked and it was easy to tell that the Cole slaw was old. The burger wasn't bad but wasn't great. Came here for an early dinner yesterday. Tuna tower app was awesome. I have had a bunch of these over the years at different places and Noosa Grill has a unique yet delicious take on it. For the base they use a cheesy risotto cake. For my entree I got the short ribs and fried Brussels sprouts. Both were well prepared, the ribs were fork tender with a sweet Korean BBQ sauce. As a local, we loved this place and visited with large parties regularly. Took family for dinner, made reservations a day ahead and got nook confirmed. Nook not available when we arrived and were seated in bar area. Waiter had to be asked twice for straws, would not cut salad and spent more time with ladies at bar. My huband ordered prime rib and it was not good, very stringy and tough. In the past, Waiter Stephen, at the nook and other side of the restaurant, was excellent and food was good. read more

FiRst time eating here. Great atmosphere and service. Not quite half full when we went for lunch. Great menu, something for everyone. Tried the ginger glazed salmon with sticky rice. Not really into seafood but this was exceptional. Maybe I will eat salmon more often! Also ordered a burger (I'm actually a bit of a burger snob). Both entrees came out perfect and in time. What could have been a great experience turned in to a very disappointing one. We came in with a big party around 430 and were the first dinner guests to arrive. Two of us ordered fish tacos which is their most popular dish. Surprisingly they were so fishy we couldn't eat them. Maybe they were having an off night, but it was bad. So bad both of us could barely get the first bite down. I don't usually send food back so I waited until the end of the meal and explained the fish was off. We weren't upset until what happened next. We didn't ask for the manager but she rudely came over and abrasively said "I mean, you ordered fish tacos, what did you expect?" as if I'm some kind of moron who doesn't know what a fish taco should taste like. Her defensive attitude and nasty tone of voice was inappropriate and uncalled for. She sent free dessert over to us and told the waitress to tell us because she bought us dessert the fish tacos stayed on the bill. We didn't ask for the dessert we only ate a few bites of, and I wish I could say it was a nice gesture but it was a crappy move disguised as a gesture of goodwill so she could justify not adjusting the two plates off our bill, despite the fact they weren't touched and she didn't seem concerned about our feedback about the fish. The waitress independently decided to take her 20% gratuity off the check to make up for the managers rudeness. It was apparent she was trying to make it right despite the circumstances. We tipped her anyway because it wasn't her fault, and we felt embarrassed for our server- kudos to Tatiana for acting with integrity. Perhaps the Manager should take a page out of her book. Mistakes happen, and how you right them says a lot about your business practices and values. In a community like OBX, there are a lot of great small businesses and restaurants to give your money too who value your patronage. This isn't one of them. We won't reccomend this to any guests who stay at our vacation rental. read more

We decided to visit Noosa while spending a week at OBX and we're glad we did. So glad they take reservations and we had about a 5 minute wait. We really liked the vibe and decor, it has better ambiance than most. It seemed like a blend of locals and tourists and it appeared relatively kid friendly. Beach casual but upscale food. We wife and I are foodies and we really enjoyed the food and the experience. I got the shrimp and grits, knowing that it was the most unusual presentation that I've ever seen, bummed I didn't take a picture. It had a slightly small portion of smooth, creamy, tasty grits surrounded by the shrimp, but in the center it had a seared pork pulled bbq with an over easy egg on top! Unusual but the blend of flavors and textures was great, and the perfect bite was getting some of all 4 on your fork. Booya, nice. Good vibe, great food and we arrived fairly early and had no wait. This is our new favorite place to visit when we are in town! read more

Such a great place. We descended on them at 12:30 on a Sunday in June , 10 of us, expected to have to wait. They got us all seated right away. The food was incredible especially the calamari appetizer, the fish and chips using Mahi was fantastic. We made a reservation for a large group of 15 and the staff was very accommodating. We arrived a little early and ordered drinks at the bar while waiting. Our bartender was amazing and all the drinks were so good (espresso martini, pina picante, shell of a day and cucumber down under). From the time we walked in to the time we left we had A+ service. Our waitress was great. All of our food was very good and no one had any complaints. Some of the highlights were calamari, salmon entree, scallops and Mediterranean tuna (doesn't seem the ingredients would go together but it was actually delicious). Almost everyone uses credit card these days so raise your menu prices 3% instead of faking your menu for most of your customers. Absolutely delicious lunch, I have to say that it was the best for each of us. I had the Noosa Burger, medium rare, cooked to perfection and I substituted the fries for a Noosa Salad, that was all delicious!! Best burger I've had in quite a while. My daughter had the Fish and Chips, delicious fresh fish, excellent French fries and coleslaw was amazing!! My son in law had the Ribeye Gyro, that also was delicious. We have dined in multiple times and been happy, but delivery was equally as delicious. Best French fries on the beach. Scallop appetizer amazing as always. Super appreciate the order was perfect with the "add this" "none of this" which places usually screw up. Come here often and will ALWAYS make this a place we eat!! This was a pleasant discovery for me and my wife when we were out shopping. We had Buffalo shrimp as an appetizer and we both got mahi-mahi dishes. My wife got the fish tacos. Both were very enjoyable. I will say the fish was slightly over cooked, but not so bad that I didn't enjoy my salad. She also loved her sour ale from a local brewer. This place wasn't here the last time we visited OBX so we decided to stop by for lunch and check it out. Found out theyve just recently opened so we were kinda hesitant. What a surprise!! The inside of the restaurant was awesome. Loved the surfing/ beach themes. Paintings on display by local artist were eye catching. The food were really good and our server, I think she said she was from Macedonia, was very friendly and upbeat. We enjoyed having her as our server. She made great recommendations.
