Noosa Beach Grill was an unexpected delight. The interior and exterior both gave a diner vibe but the options were far from standard beach fare. Service was great: friendly and prompt. When we said we would be splitting an appetizer, salad, and entree, the server brought us forks and small plates for each course making sharing easy. First we shared a beet and goat cheese salad. The house-made dressing was sweet and tangy bringing out the rich nutty flavor of the pecans. The crab cake served in a pineapple slaw was amazing. Undeniably the best crab cake I've ever eaten: all lump blue crab meat with no fillers. The pasta primavera was very good and the serving was late enough that there was enough to have for lunch the next day.

Made dinner reservations here on our way to Corolla. Casual atmosphere with conversations occurring everywhere, so expect noise. Wait staff friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to food preferences. My husband enjoyed a burger with hand cut fries. My oldest daughter ordered Caesar salad with grilled mahi mahi (wanted a grilled whitefish). Youngest daughter ordered kids popcorn shrimp meal (been craving since lunch). I ordered lobster mac and cheese. Food arrived hot, tasty and delicious. Portions were adequate and prices reasonable. Interior is beachy themed currently decked out in Christmas holiday vibe. Definitely will be back.

Noosa Beach Grill was a great find during our stay in Kill Devil Hills. They have gluten free options which worked perfectly for our family, and the fries were especially good. The kids loved their chicken tenders, which made it an easy win for dinner. Right next door is their ice cream shop, so it's convenient to grab dinner and dessert in one stop. The location is also a big plus since it's very close to the beach and super walkable from nearby hotels, including ours. A solid, family friendly choice with tasty food and a great setup.

Great food and breezy outdoor seating! We came for a Memorial Day weekend, so many restaurants had a 1-2 hour wait for our 8-person party. Luckily we found this place with a 20 minute wait, so we took photos against their cute backdrops and then enjoyed beers outside until they seated us. I was happy with my watermelon sour and my beet salad, which was light and flavorful with a fun sweetness from the candied nuts. Friends were happy with their fish tacos, which were sizable, and the fish n chips. Service was excellent and, when we mentioned we wanted to catch the sunset at Jockey's Ridge nearby, they considerately came back with the exact time of the sunset and made sure we got our food and check quickly so that we made the sunset with plenty of time!

This spot is super cute. The crab cakes are a absolutely amazing. They might be the best I've ever had. The seafood also good as well as the fish and chips but the real start of the carb cakes. The service was good and good came out in a timely matter. I would highly recommend checking it out.

This year we decided to try all new places instead of going back to our usual spots. This was our first stop and it'll be hard to top. The inside is well laid out with a decent amount of seating plus a rather large bar and outdoor options. The cocktail menu was pretty extensive and it was tough to pick just one drink to start with. Our server helped me pick between the two I narrowed it down to. I got the Tropical Depression and my husband had the Report to Schwartz. Both were dangerously smooth and perfect for drinking slowly through dinner. I ordered the scallop dinner and he got the crab cake dinner. Both were delicious. Like seriously, even the spinach was amazing in my dish. The dessert was also tasty. We can't recommend their cheesecakes enough. The service was excellent from start to finish. We were never left too long without someone checking in and the drinks and food all came out in a reasonable amount of time. This will officially be at the top of our list of places to visit each year going forward.

Looking for a place for dinner on a summer night in OBX for a group of 10 isn't easy! But they were able to accommodate us and our service was amazing! The food was delicious and made our first night in OBX perfect! Loved the strawberry basil cocktail!!!

Beet salad with fresh catch

We sat at the bar for lunch and we were served promptly and she went through the specials for the day. We started with the calamari appetizer and that was fantastic!! I don't usually care for it because it's flavorless and greasy at other places but this tasted fresh and light and yummy. I also ordered the beet salad with the fresh catch and homemade citrusy dressing. It was filling and delicious. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips.

It's off season so getting table at lunch was easy. Staff seated us and took our order quickly. They were super friendly and gave us the "pointers" on food( no lettuce or tomatoe here). Draft beer and cocktails available. Food was super delicious and not overly gigantic. Our burgers were grilled perfectly with just a minimum amount of condiments(.50) for shrooms, grilled onions and mayo(yup, mayo costs money). The tots are a seasonal thing so I got that. Delicious as tots are usually a staple in my diet. Sodas are free refills and our server even gave me a to-go cup. I live a refreshing fountain soda. The indoor dining area has lots of beach themed decor. There is a full bar at the front. I think on the weekends and summer season they also have outdoor music.

I guess the Rockfish tacos were a daily special, so I ordered the "World Famous" Mahi tacos while Ms T ordered a crabcake sandwich. I think we were both a little disappointed. Her sandwich was definitely for bun lovers. She tore off enough bread for another sandwich and still had plenty. Restaurants are often guilty of conflating a huge bun with good sandwich. She was not particularly impressed with the crab cake, saying it was overloaded with thyme. I ordered my Mahi "blackened" and it really was not. The seasonings were good although also heavy with thyme. The flour tortillas were of poor quality, very thin and leathery and not provided hot. Hence the tacos were room temperature when eaten. I liked the finely shredded cheese that was not served refrigerator cold. The white sauce they serve is just wrong for these tacos. It is too sweet, too tart, making it harsh. Instead, I used the sauce that came with her crab cake and that was much better. Finally the mahi was very dry. I guess that is kind of the way that mahi is, but this really needed plenty of sauce. Kudos to them for serving good jasmine rice. This was not as good as we remembered. It is OK, not great and could be improved with just a few changes. We should have tried the burgers.

We just can't handle a big lunch and wanted to avoid leftovers, so decided to split a pickle brined chicken sandwich with fries and an extra side of slaw. The sandwich was OK. To start with it needed more seasoning. How about breaking out the black pepper and garlic powder? The meat was uncharacteristically tough/chewy for chicken breast. I suggest they need to be pounding it to tenderize it and then brine it. It was actually hard for us to cut and eat. It really looked nice, but I think I am done with pickle brined chicken. It just never gets enough brine impact. They make good small caliber fries that were piping hot and the slaw was fine for me. Ms T did not care for it so I got it all. Our food was OK, not stellar. The service was excellent, but I still can't make this better than three stars. I hope to convince her to return for a burger during this trip.
