I had NM Signature Milk Tea and it's fairly inexpensive for an XL which is the same size as an XL from Gong Cha but better. A little bit too many toppings in the milk tea in my opinion so there wasn't as much tea which was already on the weaker side in terms of milk teas. I was super excited to try the bubble tea here after reading good reviews, but my personal experience was just ok. I got a small Coconut Milk Green Tea ($4.29) and added white pearls (agar pearls) for an extra $0.80. I got 30% sweet and less ice. My drink was the right level of sweetness and coldness, but I found the drink a bit gritty and it had a bitter aftertaste to me. I also felt they could have been more generous with the pearls. Excellent fruit based bubble tea as you can tell from the boxes of mangoes, pineapples and other fruit which line the walls as you go in. The space itself is fairly big, with two floors and some board games available for a great time hanging out with friends! The prices are affordable compared to other bubble tea shops, although the milk tea is powder based. The mango diamond slush was excellent with chunks of mango visible, and a very mango-y taste in every sip! Definitely fresh, and good value for large and x-tra large sizes (can replace a meal perhaps). They have 1 reg drink free every 8 drinks with vicinity, which is a bit faster than other shops too! I've always liked supporting small businesses and it's nice to see how far they've come too. Now with more than just 1 store. A new bubble tea place in KW area (though not too close from campus), this place brings new bubble tea ideas that does not exist here yet! Their most well known drink is probably their mango diamond. It's a mango slush with real mango fruit, which is amazing cause I am a huge fan of mango. They also got a unique selection of toppings e.g coffee jelly, aiyu jelly etc. Pricewise they are definitely a bit cheaper than its competitors (starting from only 3.25). Besides the large size upgrade (only 75 cents extra) they also offer the XL size (1.75 extra) which is definitely large enough to fulfull anyones bbt cravings. Besides the mango diamond, I have tried one of their milk teas but have had a not so great experience. Their malt milk tea tasted really weird, it was nothing how I imagined it would taste like (I get malt a lot in other places). Noon moment's malt tasted really burnt which was a bit unpleasant. They're my go-to spot near Laurier campus because they have mango jelly (Chatime doesn't). They also have a rotating menu with new options every once in a while. The only thing keeping them from a 5 star review is a lack of focus on customer service. I cannot come here for bubble tea. Come here instead for mango/coconut slushy. They use real fruits in general and their tapioca pearls are usually on point. My tip regarding the coconut slush is to get it regular since half sweet makes for less coconut flavour and chunks of coconut in it. One thing I also like is that they have the point system that's implemented many other bubble tea stores and shops. They also except tap & ApplePay which is useful. Fantastic bubble tea place that opened up when I was a freshman at UW (currently finishing up my second year now). Being the adventurous kid I was, I decided to check it out in the week of their opening and was pleasantly surprised. It's a small location, but the owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is clean and nice.
