Workouts are great, instructors are great, but the place smells awful!! I was excited to try the Rogers location out. I went for a month and thought everything about it was great - minus the smell and the overcrowded room. While this is a great concept and the 5:30am instructors are great, the fact that they lay all the mats down with zero space between mats, makes class so uncomfortable and unbearable. I've noticed that a lot of the students do not have social awareness and just put their butts in your face when doing certain moves and it's the worst. I do not want someone's butt in my face when I'm working out or trying to stretch. It's awful. Even if the mats are empty, they are left there the entire class. Some mats are reserved and are in the good spots and sometimes they still don't show up! It's a shame bc the 5:30am classes are a great time and the instructors/music is great but the mats are an issue. They should allow students to choose their own spots instead of laying mats down ahead of time. Only do that if you are going to leave enough space between mats so students can work out comfortably. built on empowering women...my experience has been the opposite when dealing with the owner. customer service is lacking heavily, very unhelpful when you ask questions or have trouble with THEIR WEBSITE. Luckily, I figured out I had to get on a desktop to cancel my subscription, wouldn't work from my phone.... had she even answered my email explaining my troubles maybe it could've been resolved before being charged...find that convenient. Casey will only say "you log on and cancel yourself" when I am explaining and sending screenshots of why I cannot, then she will ignore you. Online videos are not going to be updated on any kind of schedule, just when she feels like it. I loved this studio so honestly I hate that I have to write this but my experience left me feeling uneasy with this studio. read more

5 stars for the amazing individuals actually running this studio! 2 stars for the terrible leadership. 3.5 star overall average - 1 more star for cost. Loved the classes but there is room for improvement in the following areas: 1. Leadership is lacking: Business owner is seldom involved with this location--this puts a lot of strain on trainers to manage everything, including their classes. 2. Unethical practices: Business practices are unethical for numerous reasons--choreography is dangerous, billing process is not manageable within the app for customers (e.g., allows for unexpected charges/no flexibility/late availability notice for waitlists/no refunds/etc), you cant change payment types or cancel payments in the app at all nor without approval from the owner and are required to give 30 days notice of cancellation even if you've experienced an emergency/illness/can't attend classes for some unexpected reason, can't pause membership, trainers work hard for little return, classes are overpriced, etc. 3. Lack of hygiene: With little support, trainers cannot possibly manage the cleanliness of the facilities properly...and that's not on them. Pay more people to help with class transitions please! The trainers deserve so much more support and compensation. 4. Limited opportunities to expand into fitness goals: Great cardio! But little offering in terms of truly building strength. The highest weight you can reach in these classes is 10 lbs, but it's not safe to move in the way the choreography is designed with these weights. Not to mention cardio and heat may influence weight loss but it won't keep the lbs off if you aren't building muscle. There's a better and safer way to do this... 5. Business built on "Empowering women..."is that true?: If women are to be empowered through this business model, it should start top down. Leadership that isn't involved, doesn't implement ethical business practices, and doesn't even know their team can't create an environment where empowerment flourishes. read more

I just took my 3rd class at Nooma. Everyone is always SUPER friendly & everything is very clean! They have a variety of classes & times that are available. If you are looking to try any type of hot yoga class & I definitely recommend going to see the staff at Nooma. I debated in even posting a review of this place for fear of sounding bitter or even vengeful, but at the end of the day, someones character and the way they treat people should be heard. I'm a big believer in accountability and "walking the walk" and not just "talking the talk." I owned a fitness studio in town (sold it 2+ years ago) and when Nooma first opened, paid for classes and tried to show support to two women in my industry who were opening a small business. It was met with what I can only image was fear or competitiveness and I was asked by the owners not to come back.. My response was that a rising tide lifts all boats and that our tight-knit fitness community always ALWAYS lifts each other up and shows support for one another. Years later, I had hoped that the culture from the Owner had changed and tried to show my support for the SECOND time by purchasing a class pack and signing up for a class. Again, I was told under no uncertain terms that I was NOT WELCOME. Wow. For a studio who claims to be welcoming, uplifting, and inclusive, the owner appears mean-spirited and spiteful. There are so many other fitness studios in our area who don't just talk the talk, but actually walk the walk. FreeRide Studio, Yoga Story, Club Pilates just to name a few. There are so many other fitness studios in our community that are encouraging and lift up ALL women that deserve your business. This one unfortunately, does not. read more

Nooma is amazing-- it's a serious workout with a huge focus on pushing yourself mentally. All done in low lights, infrared heat and loud music. It's fun and I've recommended it to all my friends! read more
