We came here to check out what everyone was talking about. Upon walking in it smells tasty. Think pizza, pasta, cheese, and marinara in the air. You order at the desk infront there's no wait service here. We ordered two slices of meatlovers and the chicken parm. I also saw a couple get their lasagna brought out to them and it looked great. The pizza alone is worth coming back for. Crispy and a good amount if toppings. Next was the chicken parm. This is where a star is lost only because for me the sauce was a little underwhelming in the pasta. In some traditional Italian sauces theres a depth of flavor that was lacking. The pasta was al dente which was good and the chicken was tender and covered in cheese. Again, if the sauce had a bit more depth of flavor we have a 5 star dish. Overall a place we would come back to. Definitely worth trying. read more

Nonnos Pizza is one of those spots that quietly reminds you what really good pizza is supposed to taste like. Especially the Sicilian slice. The crust is dialed in--crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, with just enough chew to make every bite satisfying. The sauce actually has personality (not just "red paste"). What I liked most is that it doesn't try too hard. It's just solid, honest pizza done really well. Service was friendly and relaxed, and the whole place has that easy neighborhood feel where you can grab a slice or sit down and stay awhile. Bottom line: if you're thinking about it, just go. The whole experience was awful. Let's start with the entrance. My husband tripped on the wheelchair ramp due to being way too close to the entry. Granted that's not their doing but they should ask their landlord to fix it. It's just not functional placement. Once we're on the counter first impression is a guy and a female whom my husband believes where the owners where chatting it up. While a guy that was on register was maybe training? There was another cashier lady whom looked like she was training this guy. But never really acknowledging us. We stood there not really in a hurry but rather understood and we simply looked at the menu. My husband began to order and was told they where sold out of something. I didn't really hear. This is when I start to pay attention and start to feel very uncomfortable on how the order taker lady is handling our order meanwhile who we believe where owners or maybe even management kept talking and not really helping. I'm all for having fun at work but if you see your fellow employees are struggling jump in and help. I felt overwhelmed specially after the order taker tell us we can scan the QR code and I just felt like she wanted for us to move along so fast. Mind you no one is behind us. You also order at the counter where they have the menu displayed on tvs. We hurry up and order. I ordered chicken Alfredo, my husband orders another pasta dish, and 3 different slices of pizza. We sit down but I wanted to wash my hands I go to use the restroom and first off they have a door with a label of male/female following two other doors with no label. I try to open one door and is locked. I try to open the other and is locked. On my way out I almost tripped with another guest bc the area is so narrow. I asked them at the counter is the restroom is closed or if they're occupied. I didn't get an answer just a key with a hanging string. I got back again neither of these two doors have a label and I try to open one door no luck by this time I just want to give up but I just wanted to wash my hands. I try the next door and I finally get to open it. As I close the door I see a sign that says to not twist the lock. Idk something like that. That irritated me even more because they're aware of the door issue and possibly why it stays locked. Like why not change the door handle and put a sign instead of people wondering where to go. I am assuming the other room was a utility room but idk. I go back to the table and wait on our food. The pizza was first. It was 3 slices of their ready to eat pizzas. I only got to try the buffalo one and it was ok. A bit hard for myself but I ate it. I was hungry. Our pastas came the guy who we think it's the owner or manager brought it out and said the utensils where by the soda machine. Granted I know it's not a sit down waiter place but at least have the items a little more accessible and or don't ask for a tip. I agree with the previous comment of where is the sauce in my Alfredo pasta. The chicken looked old. My husband's pasta was way too hot like it had been reheated way too long. He's pasta was so hot it stuck together and the sauce was not an issue it had plenty but it tasted like it had been in the freezer for a while. Idk at this point I was wishing I could take back all my calories wasted on this and saved it for another meal. We left and didn't even finish our meals. We only ate the pizza bc we where hungry. We live in between Houston and Katy we opted for Katy to give smaller businesses business But not worth it!! Right as I was leaving I almost tripped on the wheelchair access if it wasn't bc I held on to the door I would have. This is probably my second ever review on yelp. I usually don't bc I don't have the time or patience but today I did. I did notice they have a lot of Togo orders and maybe ordering out is the way to go. My friend had heard about this place and wanted to try it out so we went for a Saturday dinner. There was some sort of videography/social media content going on the day we went, but nonetheless, we were able to order our food and sit towards the side of the small restaurant. Everything came out pretty quickly and tasted so good. My favorite for sure was the crispy calamari! We pretty much ate every last bite of every item we got. Wow first time eating pizza here - lots of different choices of pizza to choose from so I got the meat lovers and buffalo chicken pizza. They sell it by the slice. The crust was absolutely amazing and the flavor was tasty on both of them. I plan to go back and try other styles of Pizza, this will become one of my favorite spots. Upset I didn't find this place sooner. My kids love pizza and pasta, so we are always looking for a great spot that serves both. This will be at the top of that list. They sell pizza by the slice which was perfect so we could try different pizzas for our first visit. Everyone was so nice and helpful. There is usually a line, so go when you have time, and remember if there is a line it's usually a good sign the food is going to be great! read more

Cute, casual little Italian spot with a great selection of pizzas, appetizers, salads, pastas, and desserts. I love that they offer pizza by the slice so you can try different ones. Everything we had was delicious. Not pictured are the garlic knots with marinara, which were excellent. The owner was very friendly and it's a brand new local family-owned place. We actually visited on their second day open. It's a small space and fills up quickly, so dine-in can be a little tight (we were lucky to find a seat on a busy weekend day). It may be better for to-go and parking can be busy since it's a shared lot in a busy complex. Overall, great experience and we'll definitely be back! read more

We stopped for lunch on Saturday after their grand opening the day before. There were a few glitches as they work out their systems & settle in. Caesar salad was big! Sharing it was a great idea! The croutons are next level!! We had baked ziti & chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. The sauce for each dish was very traditional & fresh. The garlic knots were good, too. This was our first time at Nonno's Kitchen, and we will definitely be back! We were immediately greeted when we walked in, and even though it was a very busy evening, the entire staff was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the pasta trio with red sauce, Alfredo, and pesto, and everything was exceptional! My husband had the chicken Parmesan, which was amazing as well. We also tried a slice of the spicy pepperoni pizza--SO delicious--and the garlic knots were fabulous! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I saw a picture of their pasta bowl online and it looked good so we decided to try it. It's right by In and Out burger off I-10. Not a summer big place but seating up front, and along the side. They sell slices, rolls, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We got ended up getting lunch specials. $8 for a drink, 2 garlic rolls and a slice of cheese pizza. $10 for a Caesar salad, drink and pepperoni pizza. It was all really good. We want to go back with the kids and I want to try the pasta bread bowl. Service was also nice. They were really friendly and helpful. You order first and then sit down and they'll bring it out to you. They have a soda fountain so you get your own drinks. They also have cannolis to go and some other desserts that looks super good. Kept seeing this place on social media and decided to give it a shot. First off I'll say the pizza is good. I ordered a white pizza with pepperoni. Seeing the different dishes being delivered to the tables looked really good too. I placed an order for take out. Never again will I stop in on a weekend or any rush hour time. The space is small and seems to have a really poor layout and feels extremely cramped easily. I'll also say there has to be a better way of keeping track of orders if someone is waiting for their take out order. Obviously I knew it'd be a while since there was a big table that was still getting the rest of their food. After a while I see someone get his pizza that ordered well after me. Got up to ask and conveniently it had "just come out of the oven" (the pizza was warm as though it had been sitting there for a while). We had the chicken parmesan over spaghetti and the Baked Ziti with meatballs. The meatballs were good. The chicken was very tough and the sauce was very thin and way too watery and not sticking to the pasta. They need a new recipe for sauce. Can't say I've ever had sauce like it. What a treat... we were welcomed right away and told about the ordering process/options. We started with a pepperoni pinwheel and Italian side salad. The pinwheel was yummy. It had plenty of cheese and pepperonis and served with a side of marinara. The crust was one of my favorite parts... The seafood pasta was amazing and had plenty of shrimp, clams, and calamari!!! The pepperoni pie, which I added hot honey to half, was so good. The crust had a perfect crunch. I love that you can get pizza by the slice or order the whole pie. I have found a new favorite place. This is a pizzeria now a restaurant so manage your expectations. The pizza is fine. The issue is the kitchen part. Calamari had a brown cluster batter on it and weird after taste. The wings were just as bland and you can't order a side a fries unless you get a kids meal. The marinara sauce tasted like water. The Chicken parmigiana was raw inside, the marinara sauce was sliding off rigatoni. Absolutely no flavor. When I sent the food back they were confused why. First off let me agree with previous reviews that the handicap ramp is poorly positioned. Although it is well painted, bright blue, I did hit it both upon entering and again exiting. Unfortunately, this isn't the owners to move but agree they should complain to the building owner to see what can be done. We started with fried ravioli. Was very good and the marinara dipping sauce was exceptional. We did try the garlic bread knot and that was very good too. In fact my wife dipped it in the remaining marinara from the ravioli. My wife ordered the chicken Marsala. She did think it was a bit dry and overcooked. Plenty of mushrooms but would have liked a bit more sauce. I had the chicken piccata. Thought it was very good. Plenty of sauce, temp was good and chicken was cooked very well. We finished with the tiramisu (which we always do when available). Tiramisu was really good and we would definitely order again. I placed a TooGoodToGo order with the pickup time between 9:30 am and 10 pm only to be denied my food upon arrival at 11 am after a 30 minute drive. I was told that that I could not pick up my food until 9pm and that they put the wrong pick up time on the app. It was a mistake on their behalf, however, I received no accommodation and no apology leaving me frustrated and disappointed. We also noticed that other tables were treated kindly and attentively, while we did not receive the same treatment. The food was great, but the service was disappointing. We ordered our meals, but they were brought out at different times. My husband ended up receiving his food last, so he asked if his order had been placed because it was taking a long time. There was a guy with a snarky attitude and got away with it which made me think he might have been the owner or someone related to the owner. We tried this place for the first time today. We got garlic knots, fried zucchini, pizza slices(the pesto pepperoni was so yummy!) Caesar salad, AND a pesto pasta. Honestly, I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I got a to-go order yesterday and we were pretty shocked, should have just ordered Pizza Hut instead. The white pizza single slice we got was hard and dry, like it had been under a heat lamp all day. The big pizza we got was freshly made, but the bottom of the crust was burnt, kids would not eat it. I have never seen kids not eat pizza, but it was that bad. And it was expensive! Over $50 for this stuff that went in the trash! What a waste. read more
