My friend had heard about this place and wanted to try it out so we went for a Saturday dinner. There was some sort of videography/social media content going on the day we went, but nonetheless, we were able to order our food and sit towards the side of the small restaurant. Everything came out pretty quickly and tasted so good. My favorite for sure was the crispy calamari! We pretty much ate every last bite of every item we got. Highly recommend and I will be back to try more items.

Cute, casual little Italian spot with a great selection of pizzas, appetizers, salads, pastas, and desserts. I love that they offer pizza by the slice so you can try different ones. Everything we had was delicious. Not pictured are the garlic knots with marinara, which were excellent. The owner was very friendly and it's a brand new local family-owned place. We actually visited on their second day open. It's a small space and fills up quickly, so dine-in can be a little tight (we were lucky to find a seat on a busy weekend day). It may be better for to-go and parking can be busy since it's a shared lot in a busy complex. Overall, great experience and we'll definitely be back!

We stopped for lunch on Saturday after their grand opening the day before. There were a few glitches as they work out their systems & settle in. Caesar salad was big! Sharing it was a great idea! The croutons are next level!! We had baked ziti & chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. The sauce for each dish was very traditional & fresh. The garlic knots were good, too. Maybe next time we'll try the pizza.

I saw a picture of their pasta bowl online and it looked good so we decided to try it. It's right by In and Out burger off I-10. Not a summer big place but seating up front, and along the side. They sell slices, rolls, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We got ended up getting lunch specials. $8 for a drink, 2 garlic rolls and a slice of cheese pizza. $10 for a Caesar salad, drink and pepperoni pizza. It was all really good. We want to go back with the kids and I want to try the pasta bread bowl. Service was also nice. They were really friendly and helpful. You order first and then sit down and they'll bring it out to you. They have a soda fountain so you get your own drinks. They also have cannolis to go and some other desserts that looks super good. We were full this time so maybe next time!

What a treat... we were welcomed right away and told about the ordering process/options. We started with a pepperoni pinwheel and Italian side salad. The pinwheel was yummy. It had plenty of cheese and pepperonis and served with a side of marinara. The crust was one of my favorite parts... The seafood pasta was amazing and had plenty of shrimp, clams, and calamari!!! The pepperoni pie, which I added hot honey to half, was so good. The crust had a perfect crunch. I love that you can get pizza by the slice or order the whole pie. I have found a new favorite place. Something to note is there are tables but not many.

I love this place. Its one of my favorite spots in Katy now. The pizza is out of this world. I love watching them make my food in the open kitchen. The restaurant is super clean and everyone is so friendly. They really treat you like an old friend when youre there. Highly recommend.

First off let me agree with previous reviews that the handicap ramp is poorly positioned. Although it is well painted, bright blue, I did hit it both upon entering and again exiting. Unfortunately, this isn't the owners to move but agree they should complain to the building owner to see what can be done. We started with fried ravioli. Was very good and the marinara dipping sauce was exceptional. We did try the garlic bread knot and that was very good too. In fact my wife dipped it in the remaining marinara from the ravioli. My wife ordered the chicken Marsala. She did think it was a bit dry and overcooked. Plenty of mushrooms but would have liked a bit more sauce. I had the chicken piccata. Thought it was very good. Plenty of sauce, temp was good and chicken was cooked very well. We finished with the tiramisu (which we always do when available). Tiramisu was really good and we would definitely order again. Enjoyed the live keyboard player. We did think the volume was a hit loud for a small dining ar

I am a New Yorker and it's tough to find true NY pizza in Houston, and they knocked it out of the park. Yankee stadium of course.

First and last time here. Food was terrible. The place itself is pretty nice, but that doesn't matter when the food is not good.

I have made dinner every night for the last 30 years. If I am going to spend a week's worth of…read moregrocery capital on a single night's take out/dine in - the meal had best be worth it. I don't do fast food. I don't do frozen food. I'd rather spend my money on a new car or an epic vacation (because 30 years of fast food would = a new car or epic vacation . . . Or two). The last great pizza that I had was in the Chicago area over 3 decades ago. I don't pay for "brand" pizza with cardboard crust covered in processed sauces and toppings. Spouse suggested delivery from this place since we were busy watching the Olympics. I ordered a "build your own" pizza. It's deep dish dough topped with mushrooms, extra cheese and ham. I also requested (and received) 50% less sauce (because I like to taste all of the ingredients, not just the sauce). I will admit that I was delightfully surprised. First of all, it was made to my specifications. And I don't know what "Detroit" pizza is supposed to encompass . . .but mine was good. Crust was crispy on the bottom and sides but once I got through the crunch there was a chewy hot dough. The cheese was great, i.e., didn't taste processed. Spouse says "ditto" for his which was loaded. I will pay premium price for premium food. Luckily, with Sapore's, you receive premium food for a reasonable price. *I might add: dinging a pizza place 3 stars for its website updates vs. accurately reviewing its food isn't fair and those reviewers who have done this know it. You have to question their ulterior motives (offer of free food?)

We came to order certain items that were shown on the website and NONE of them were offered anymore. Management needs to get on that. Can ya say that's like false advertising to someone looking for those items and can't get them. We did order something else because we had made the trip out there already. The pizza was good and they should be given credit for that. The spaghetti and meatballs was a hard pass and the garlic bread was hard as a rock. I inquired about the HUGE change of menu and the advertising on the store window and was informed that they no longer are carrying all those things and the young man sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. I wish I was able to say more positive things but until the website is updated and the window advertising changes , I have to stick to this review. If it's pizza ya want, then give this place a try anything else, do your research.

Every course was enjoyable, and there was plenty of food for the table to share. We started with the Garlic Mozzarella Bread, Toasted Ravioli, Calamari Fritti, Lomonte's Famous House Salad, and a Greco Roman pizza for the table. The garlic mozzarella bread was a hit across the table. The toasted ravioli was solid, while the calamari was delicious and cooked well, though we felt the portion size was a little small for the price. The house salad was fresh, flavorful, and one of the better restaurant salads I've had recently. For my entrée, I ordered the Beef La Crema. It comes with a 6oz fillet, mushroom risotto, and brussel sprouts. The mushroom risotto was excellent. Risotto is usually salty at restaurants, but this one was perfectly balanced and cooked nicely. The Brussels sprouts were also well executed and paired nicely with the dish. My filet came out a little more done than the medium-rare I requested, but it was still tender and flavorful. I do wish it had been slightly larger, but at 6 ounces, some shrinkage during cooking is to be expected. Overall, this was an outstanding meal with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. It's easily one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, and I'd gladly return.

Some dishes I can't have because of the alcohol or pork. But they always let you know if you tell them about dietary restrictions. So if you are looking for good food a casual family friendly atmosphere and don't want to drive too far. Because let's be honest these guys could be fine dining, with the overly formal atmosphere etc but these guys have been here for a very long time, and the quality of food is fantastic and they are reasonably priced. Sorry I didn't get a picture of anything but the calamari but we had the scallops with risotto and the chicken rustica. I know I've had the risotto better previously but everything was still really good.
