I usually get a personal pie; they have good ones and bad ones, don't get me wrong, but they can make a good pizza! The cheese is usually pretty light, not too thick; the sauce has a nice taste to it, and the crust adds to a nice bite, just if they did the undercarriage just a slight bit more, and sometimes, but very few if is just way WAY too much cheese, and one time it looked like someone just slapped the cheese on there without even looking. I would give a 5 Stars/Great, but the service is usually fine, but there are sometimes where I have to wait way longer than they say the estimated time for; once, I went almost 2 hours without a pizza. Besides the crust sometimes and the cheese and the long delivery, the actual place is nice, good feel, nice case where you can see all the pies offered, nice soda/drink selection as well, but the parking lot is a bit tight, though. Ate there once, and my food was pretty quick and VERY fresh. Nice spot! I would recommend it if you are looking for a nice slice in the area and if you are visiting. Also, when I go down to the Bronx for Yankee games, we always stop and grab a slice or 2 for the road from Slice.

My wife had a spinach tagliatelle with a truffle cream sauce and I had the spicy rigatoni. If you like spice get that but beware because the Calabrian chiles aren't for the faint of heart. I ordered the mushroom tagliatelle. It is made with fresh pasta and several different types of mushrooms. The portion was huge, which was nice! Unfortunately, the pasta was pretty bland. I was really excited about it because of the fresh noodles and all the mushrooms, but the lack of flavor was sad. Everyone else in my party said their food was great, so maybe it was just my dish! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. I've used it on several occasions. Most business have various times you can pick food up. Calabria time is 30 minutes before the business closed. I went in five minutes earlier, showed my order to the man on register. He asked me to have a seat. He told the other person/worker in the store. I received a box of pizza. When I opened it, it looked like garbage, five slices of pizza they would discard. I have never went to a business, going through too good to waste, where I have felt like I had received garbage. That speaks for the character of a business. With pickup time 30 minutes before closing, there are many food that would fulfill the too good to waste category. For a reduced price, I was given old pizza slices that look like they were sitting around all day. I asked if he can warm it, and he said no. I told him that I have two orders, and he gave me basically the same thing he gave me the first time. Very, very disappointed. Again, this speaks to the character of a business, because thirty minutes before closing, they are many things that are too good to go or throw out. You do not give a customer something that you would throw out. Instead, you give a customer something that is too good to throw away.

The delivery guy was so nice and friendly! Like above and beyond what is standard these days.
