Nomo marketed to me as "the one my neighbor uses." I spoke to that neighbor about it and they said they had to ask them, "What are you doing, feeding the gophers?" They really let the pests spread far and wide with little concern for the damage to lawns they are paid to protect. If I could put zero stars, I would! Destin is so shady. Even though I had repeatedly told him I'd have to wait to finish a contract, because I did not want to sign my husband up for a 12 month agreement, that he'd be charged for if he didn't want it, he tried to have me charged anyways; after saying I can cancel before my first service, which was the 10th, and I told him I had to wait to give the okay till the 11th. Thankfully a supervisor I spoke with fixed the situation, found it to be true I was never serviced, and canceled the contract with no fees. Destin is not a very good person to be handling contracts. 0 stars - I just got a collection letter for Nomo. They said I owe 89.00. They haven't showed up for months. I tried to call Nomo and it's a continuous phone loop. Press 1, press 2, press 3. None of this works. Their website doesn't work either. I've never received a bill for the two times they have shown up. Now this! From what I understand, other customers have also had this problem. Wish I could put 0 stars. Must be spraying sugar water because we've never seen so many bugs than during the one year they serviced our property. Only kept them for a year (May2022-May2023) because they wouldn't let us cancel. We technically tried to cancel twice. First time was towards the end of summer 2022 when we noticed the large pest increase hadn't gotten any better. They sent out an extra service "on them" which made us feel great! When that didn't help and we ended up with more black widow issues (which they'd known about the whole time), someone on the phone told us the first year of treatment is to draw out the bugs... then consecutive years are used to get rid of them?? The next two visits I asked the technicians what they'd heard about that process and they looked at me like I wasn't speaking English. I called to try and cancel early in 2023 and they said they couldn't because of the year contract we signed (okay, I get that). She said she could offer half off for the second year but we would prefer a refund anyway so said no. May 2023 was the last service (again, surely just sugar water, but he did spray around the whole place) and our payment plan was set to continue for a few more months to pay off that service. The normal payments were taken out of our bank account, but we kept getting calls and emails for months about late fees and payment issues. I called today (August 2023) to ask about the payment issues and her response was "I don't understand what you're confused about. I just pulled your August payment" - which there shouldn't be at all - "and canceled the late fees since you called in." Dishonest & retaliatory - trying to tack on fees when we canceled. Stay away!! We have only had one spraying and the bugs are SO BAD! Much worse than before they came. Calling to get help was a bust. We left two voicemails and sent a text. It wasn't until we started sending them threats on texts accusing them of being a scam that we were contacted. It took two days to get a response. They said...the bugs getting worse is normal. There business model almost seems Nazi like. I was notified by a text message they would be coming Monday and if I'm Not home I should just leave my gate unlocked for them. Here are my issues: I don't want unknown persons in my yard. Second, I also expect to get my house sprayed too at the time of service. They charge enough and don't inform there customers when they raise the price. I signed up years ago and this is the final dealing I have with them. The so called manager, Lauren, would not respond to my text and when I was able to reach a "live" person, Lauren the Nazi Manager, she was cold wouldn't change my appointment and in fact, ignored my text so I called requesting "payment" info. She could edit answer the phone fast enough. You can't just stop there service with a call you have to give THEM a 30 day notice and they make sure you pay them one final payment with no services attached. Don't even start up with them find another pest service. Any other one will be for you. They do not consider your needs ad important only Lauren the Nazi Manager is important. We cancelled this company a year ago in February of 2023. We always paid by check and never gave them permission to ACH our bank account but they used our check information to ACH our account without our permission. When we found out this was happening without our permission, we cancelled service immediately. In March of 2023 they took money out of our account when no service was done. In December of 2023 they took money out of our account again without permission and with no service done. We wrote letters and called them and they refunded and put back the money from December. No it is February and they have done it again. These are thieves. They are not a reputable company to deal with. Do not use them or give them a check as they will steal money from your account hoping you don't notice. read more

Salesperson came to the door because they were "in the neighborhood " and had a great deal on pest control. He proceeded to flat out lie about getting into a contract. I was more than willing to give their service a try and if the results were good and the price was reasonable I'd continue but I refuse to be obligated to a contract. They never return your calls,....you have to keep calling multiple times to finally speak to someone. Next is the actual treatments...they are ineffective! They actually made our pest issues worse! We want to cancel however they want to charge us $170 cancellation fee. Why should I pay to cancel when the service has been terrible and ineffective treatements???? Very little improvement in my wasps with Nomo's pest control. You can do better with a wasp spray can. I am not saying that they didn't try. They will certainly do re-visits. Be careful with the "discount" for the first overpriced visit. You will have to pay it back if you try to cancel, even if Nomo doesn't perform as you expected. Service technicians were friendly, but they don't appear to have the tools or proper spray to treat for wasps. They came out one month later, knocked on the door and EVERYTHING I asked them to do couldn't be done because of "the honeybees". He said he would spray around outside where there weren't any flowers but that was it. I closed the door and not even 5 minutes later went out to talk to him and he was gone! He never sprayed anything on or under the deck, on the rock wall (which was invaded with biting ants!), in the house, in the garage, or actually anywhere I could see. This company is very dishonest. When I signed up the sales person told me it was $224. this was the discounted rate, I paid this. Then I get a bill saying I owe another $165. and when I questioned this I was then told the discounted rate was for $650. WHAT??? I would not go through this company. I have had to ask them each time to come out and spray, they never just offered. One of the times they said they sprayed but didn't do anything so I had to call and ask for them to come out again, this time I had my daughter watch them. Then you've got a contract that says you will have 12 payments and they charge you for 13th. The product is completely ineffective, pretty sure is mostly water. While they have been servicing my house, I have had more bugs, especially spiders, than I ever have before. If there was a ZERO star Nomo earned it. 1st they claim you sign a year contract when they knock on your door and ask if you would like them to spray for spiders. No one explained you were signing your life away. Just a one time spray for spiders said the lying sales man. 2nd the spray they used kills off grass and some of your shrubs. You call customer service they are rude and awful and and tell you it's $120 to cancel PLUS they supposedly send someone while you arent home for a follow up spray and charge you. VERY DISHONEST. Please do not use this company they take advantage of the elderly. They went to the house of my 85-year-old grandmother. Person told her they could spray for $99.00 she said OK and let them spray and paid him. She never signed anything only let them spray for that day. They came by a month later so she sent them away without spraying because it didn't help at all the first time. Three months later she gets a bill in the mail saying she owes them hundreds of dollars saying she agreed to a 1-year contract. I asked them to send a copy of the contract and when we received it we could tell it was NOT her signature. I called the company and talked to a girl named Sarah she was extremely rude and demanding. She told me they were sending my Grandmother to collections if she didn't pay. This has made my grandmother ill and she wasn't able to sleep for days. It was not her signature on the agreement. This company refuses to cancel our policy and has continued to come to our house despite repeated calls to tell them we no longer want their service. They repeatedly lie about scheduling (we asked them not to come unless they call us in advance) they lie about their own damn policies (they claim not to spray if pets are around but still came with our dog in the backyard) and despite 3 calls to cancel where the receptionist verified verbally our account was cancelled we still get emails that state they are coming to service our house. Finally the last time we called they told us they need written notice so we sent an email and they got scheduled the next week. This company is an absolute scam. The young man who came to my door said that the first service was free and if I wasn't satisfied we could cancel at no charge. After the first service we weren't terribly impressed and I was nervous because I could tell they had sprayed near my beehives where I had specifically told them not to spray. After I called the cancel, I was informed that I either had to pay the next four installments of $85 or a cancellation fee of $219. I do not appreciate being lied to, having my bees put in danger, and then been brushed off when I spoke to a customer service rep. If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would. I have called the office a few times now to get this resolved and I've been met with nothing but disinterest and disrespect. I understand that your employees on the line aren't the ones responsible for the billing or the policy or the representative that lied to me, but their lack of initiative to even discuss the situation just causes more frustration. Just bought a brand new house in Midway Utah. Nomo sales guy said that he could spray a 'pheromone dust' to prevent bugs from nesting. the next day after they sprayed a wasp nested next to my front door. Very dishonest company. I had a re-treatment since this initial treatment did absolutely nothing. It was done during the rain while we were not home. I have never seen more bugs. They offered to come do a re-treatment, and after that the bugs did seem to lessen. Then I got an email 3 days later saying my "scheduled service" will take place 7 days after the re-treatment. This service is $90 dollars. Upon emailing them to tell them I don't need the service, as my 1 year contract was up, they informed me that my contract auto renews due to the fine print on the initial application. When I first signed up they definitively said that it would be for a one year contract. That is it. Now, to get out of the contract, I have to pay $45 to get out of my contract I unknowingly signed up for. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They are con artists. The reps are very friendly, so one star for them. Problems: we never received copies of our contract We were never sent copies of our invoices We were told we would get emails a few days beforehand so that we would know when to expect service. Never happened. When I called to ask why we hadn't received emails before each visit, I was told that my email had been "lost." They had been calling my home phone, supposedly. Except that they HADN'T. We got a call and and email before the first return visit and NEVER again. They returned each time after only 8-10 weeks instead of quarterly like we had agreed to. So, over the course of the year, we paid for more services than expected. Service was renewed after our year of service without any warning. When I told the rep at the door that we no longer wanted service due to some health problems / reactions to chemicals, I was told there would be a cancellation charge of $45 (half of the service charge) because I hadn't provided WRITTEN CANCELLATION at least 30 DAYS before the visit! (Even though our contract was up and we had not authorized future visits). I asked if the cancellation charge could be waived and the office manager refused to waive it, saying the owner was adamant that they not be waived. It is really hard to cancel with a company that doesn't leave any information about how to do that, doesn't call or email, and shows up earlier than expected. read more
