This is place that you have to check frequently. 9 out of 10 times when I go in, I don't buy…read moreanything. But, boy, when that 1 out of 10 times hits, it's because I've found something really amazing at a fraction of the cost at the main store. For example, I paid thousands of dollars to the main store for furniture from the Tate Collection, and I found two more pieces to add to it at the outlet for around $200. This is high-quality, mid-century-modern furniture designed by this really awesome guy named Blake Tovin. The outlet's furniture might have minor wear and tear from being in a showroom or being returned by a customer. The sales staff ALWAYS points out any nicks or dings to me before I buy a piece. You can't return things to the outlet, so it's a demonstration of integrity that they want you to see what might be flawed, so that you aren't duped. Sometimes, however, there are absolutely no flaws, and you're buying something in perfect condition. I have been lucky in that regard. A bookshelf I bought had one scratch from where a sticker was stuck to it and had been scraped off. That scratch, still, would not have been discernible to me or someone walking by. Anyway, great sales staff and a great store for hunting for a bargain.

I'm not getting help and support on my order from the Knox Hendersen store, so maybe this Crate and…read moreBarrel location can assist me. I ordered a living room of furniture three months ago from Crate and Barrel (Ali was my designer). The furniture was picked up a month ago (mid April) by Fragilepak - the company that Crate and Barrel uses to deliver the furniture. Since then, it's been a complete lack of communication. It's been a month since the furniture was picked up by the logistics company. And after 4 calls to the logistics company, they told me to have Crate and Barrel reach out to them to address the many issues with my order (damaged merchandise, lack of communication from Crate and Barrel) along with it just sitting in a warehouse for the last month. I've contacted Crate and Barrel multiple times over the past month (both via email and via phone). They've basically taken a hands' off stance and told me to deal with FragilePak. I'm absolutely livid with the crappy service from Ali and the team at Crate and Barrel. There is still no resolution as of today and nobody at Crate and Barrel is lifting a finger to fix this shit show.

We are in the process of filling a brand new home with furnishings…read moreand decor and this is one of my go-to places for unique pieces that you really can't find just anywhere else. I came to know about this place from Facebook - I follow their page (District 635) on there and was really impressed with the color palettes that they use and the uniqueness of the items they show on there. The store itself is just as impressive. They go to other furniture/ decor places and get their closeouts and sell them here. While they advertise that their prices are significantly less for designer pieces, I do not see much financial savings, HOWEVER, I am willing to pay their prices because, as I said, mostly everything in here is extremely unique. I will say this - I saw a coffee table here made out of a Russian boat propeller with a glass top (super cool and different!) for $2300 and it was $4000 at Restoration Hardware ... so that's something, right? :) They constantly get new pieces in, so you have to check back frequently. They are only open Thursday-Sunday, so you really want to try to get there Thursday to see the best things that they have to offer for the week. For the most part, you buy right off the floor. Sometimes they will have a few duplicate items from the floor back in their warehouse, but this is one of those places where when you see something you like, you better buy it because it may not be there next time. *Note: They are connected to The Dump, however, the styles/ selection is nothing like the The Dump. Trust me, I don't like The Dump either.

I can also say that the furniture is very old and made of Teak wood imported from India.
