It's so great to have an artist that's creative, professional, and been in the industry for a decade as an owner and is still relevant! Also- even though we both chose a tender spot to have work done on- we were able to sit for the duration needed to complete the tattoo ( which is a sign of someone who knows what he's doing with a tattoo gun!) Don't let his cartoon-like portfolio fool u either- he has a huge creative range on what he can make happen !

They answered any and all questions I had and wanted to make sure that the idea I had for a tattoo was what I wanted to stick with for sure. They drew me a picture and sent me home to make sure that's what I wanted exactly and they saved me a spot in their books. I came back the next week and again they were very welcoming. They made sure I was super comfy in the chair and they had books to look at and when I needed a break it was no problem. I can honestly say I have never had a better experience even since then. Now it is the only place I want to go to get my work done and I feel that i have made new friends at the same time.

Stacy is my regular artist and he has basically covered my back and stomach. I've sent a few friends/family to him as well and they've always said he is professional, fair and talented. I love my tattoos and can't wait to keep covering my body! I have an absolutely bomb back-piece and stomach tattoo from Stacy - he does good work. I've also gone to Adam for some small tattoos and touch ups all around. I'm happy with those tattoos as well. Have yet to go to Kat, but I enjoy chatting with her about my tattoos, and we are planning on doing a pet piece soon. She loves Sphynx cats and I have an adorable Sphynx who I want to commemorate in as a tattoo - and my other pets too. Her style is very new traditional and is right up my alley so I can't wait to get started. I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be here getting tattoo'd. It's my regular place, you can always trust them to do great work! Prices are also always fair, you can tell they want to give the best possible work but aren't looking to bleed you dry. Awesome shop!

He was friendly and explained all I needed to know about getting a tattoo and the aftercare. He was also fast. I was in and out within the hour, it was a quick tattoo. The other staff there are friendly as well. Prices were reasonable for the tattoo I got - script on my upper arm. I wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but no issues there at all. I'm happy to pay the price for a good tattoo. Overall, it was a quick and efficient experience. I am very happy with my new tattoo. My only qualm is that there is barely any parking because the parking lot is very busy.

Studio was amazing. Two other friends got tattoos there and had no problem…read more I am a special needs parent and because of that making time for the appointment was tough. So I was very unhappy to show up early for my appointment and wait and an hour after my appointment time I was still waiting. I ended up having to leave. The reception girl was lovely and rebooked me for the next day. They booked me with the same artist and I got the rate I would have gotten the day before. Unfortunately the artist was awful. She was conceited and had no manners. She complained about not being able to use the computer and about the design. She complained about the "thin lines" despite there being no demand for thin lines. She ignored my requests. And she chose the font and then proceeded to complain the entire time about it. I got three small tattoos and each one has a problem. One on my wrist has two lines coming off of it instead of one where she had tried to go back over it and messed up. My forearm spacing is messed up (my fault for not bailing and getting it anyways) but she did messed up part of it so the lines aren't clean. When I suggested an edit she told me she didn't like it and wouldn't even humor it. I had to use the pen and draw what I meant. An "&" shouldn't be too complex of an idea. And the biggest problem I have is a colored one on my leg. I asked for it to be shaded and instead it is flat color. It was supposed to have a certain number of lines through it and she messed up and said "oh well". She was very heavy handed and did not hide that she was irritated with me. It is healing horribly. I'm not sure if I had a bad reaction to the colors or what. It bubbled up and when some of it finally flaked off what is left looks terrible. It will definitely need touching up. But there is no way I would consider letting the artist near me again. Can provide pictures of this horror show if needed. She also did not go through any care instructions with me. I had, luckily, been with friends the day before and heard theirs, as well as having had one before. But it seems like something the artist should go through every time. She was whiny and had a bad attitude. I suspect she was mad about having to give me the Wednesday rate (I was fine paying regular rate - I just wanted a quality artist) and her work certainly showed it. The studio itself was great. The other artists I talked to also were. The reception was great. Just the artist was awful. Absolutely awful.

I sent him a few photos of what I had in mind and it's like he crawled into my brain! I could not be happier! While it took longer than anticipated, it was well worth the wait! What I love most about Urge 2 is how it's like a big, loving, dysfunctional family! Just like my own! Every single artist here is different in their style, and they are not afraid to send you to a different artist if what you're looking for is not their style and more someone else's! They also offer tattoo removal if you're looking to have that old one zapped away to make room for something new and fabulous! I've heard it's quite painful! Now, this isn't your back alley shop, so know what you want and have the appropriate budget in mind! Tattoos are expensive and really a piece of art displayed on your body!
