They made me the battery packs for two of my security devices and also helped me find the exact replacement for two watch batteries that I needed. The service I received was excellent. These folks know their products and then some! Yesterday I had gone into their shop to see if they could replace my ancient iPhone 6S lithium internal battery! It would not keep a charge and I even turned off all the applications and monitoring to see if that would save battery usage. I think the battery inside needed replacement. When I entered the store I was immediately greeted by Chad who I have dealt with before. He remembered me and asked me what I needed. To make a long story short, it didn't take Chad long to replace and charge my iPhone with a new lithium battery! I was amazed at the really professional service and staff there. They resuscitated her phone (pun intended) and offered us a deal on an Iphone 16. They did all the annoying stuff to transfer service and cloud connection. Nothing when pressing power button, no charging light when plugged in, and battery swap did nothing. The realization of not backing up files more often hits hard! Dropped it off in a box, explained what happened, got a quote, they ordered parts and 10 days later I'm writing this review on it! Got a problem with your phone/laptop, try these guys out. The little shop had three customers ahead of me, so I waited. When I met with the technition, I described the phone's behavior and stated that if the repair were a lost cause, I was not interested in paying a $50 fee to confirm that the phone was in fact broken. He assured me that if he could not fix it, I would not be charged. There was a cue of laptops to repair ahead of mine, so he stated that it might take a while to get to mine- first come first serve. I left the phone with him. I couple hours later i got a call that the phone was fixed. I picked up the phone, and while paying for the repair I asked how this might have been avoided. He sold me an SD card, and guided my adjustment default saving to the card instead of the phone's hard drive. I thought this was excellent service and this is where i will return in the future.

Most places would take your money and not even tell you. When I got the laptop home I had a conflict with the type of Comcast internet I have at home and AER not only spent time troubleshooting with me over the phone but also included his world class IT department - both of whom tried for a good amount of time to help me connect to wi-fi at my home. In the end it was a problem with the type of tri band wi-fi conflicting with my dual-band wireless adapter. Which was indeed what AER and his amazing IT department found was the issue. I highly recommend you give Athens Electronics Repair a call for ALL your repair needs, you will be in good hands and will not be disappointed!! I was very discouraged and decided to come by uBrakiFix as a last resort hoping they could do something. My teenage daughter and I were incredibly impressed and grateful for the fantastic service we…read morereceived on 9/29/2020. My daughter had dropped her phone and it was barely functioning. She needed it for some school communications as well as work for an internship that week and was concerned something had been damaged that would require a lot of time and $$ to fix. We couldn't make it to iFix It until close enough to closing time that I figured there was no way we'd have an answer, much less a solution, that evening. But Caleb was there, and he went above and beyond to identify the problem (for the most part it just needed a screen replacement) and then go ahead and handle the repair while we waited, voluntarily and without even asking us about the urgency of the repair. He immediately showed that 1) he could see what the issue was, 2) knew how to fix it, and 3) he cared. It's all too easy these days to find, and then complain about, poor service, or even ok service for that matter. I was so impressed by Caleb's professionalism in fixing the problem with the iPhone, and his willingness to spend the time to go beyond what he may have been required to do. That he was kind and personable all while making the repair was delightful. By the way, this was not my first visit to iFix It at the West Town Mall, and obviously I had enough trust to return for this repair, and now I'll be even more of a loyal customer. Thank you, iFix It, and thank you Caleb for your kind, quick, and thoroughly professional service. You brought us great relief to a worrisome situation, and the phone has been working perfectly since the repair.

They had us take the Xbox to the store where their advanced repairs are handled and fixed it properly at no additional charge. They also assured me that they would be training staff better so as not to improperly blame customers for damages. Original review: About three months ago, they "repaired" my son's Xbox by replacing the HDMI port. Unfortunately, they failed to secure the port. The reason I know this is that when it failed again and we took it back for repair under their warranty, they claimed that the port was "ripped off the motherboard." After receiving the Xbox from them the first time, we exercised the UTMOST care with that port and didn't even move the console after plugging it in. The only way that port could have been ripped off the motherboard is if it hadn't been secured properly in the first place.
