I had chicken momos, and they were delicious! They also add a side salad with spinach and carrots, and the dressing is quite good.

What a wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant tucked inside a mall. I saw that they had decent…read morereviews on Yelp and a lunch special (12.99) which piqued my interest. I was warmly greeted and my food arrived quickly. Wow! I was shocked at the first bite. The curries were sooo flavorful and the chicken in the butter chicken curry was so tender. I ate my fill and still had some to take home. The gulab jamun was a nice kick of sweetness to finish off the meal. Absolutely will be coming back and highly recommend!!! So yummy!

We are super picky eaters and have usually felt underwhelmed going out to eat in this area, but the food here was excellent. We had the biryani and butter chicken with butter naan, it easily provided dinner for my husband and I last night & there was enough leftover to have it for lunch today and when I telllll you, there was not a grain of rice nor a drip of sauce left, I MEAN IT it was even better today. My only complaint is I wish naan was included in the meal; however, everything was so amazing I don't mind paying a la cart for these items. Special shout out to the chicken in the biryani & butter chicken, it was sooooo tender and juicy!! Even my favorite Indian spots back home don't have chicken this delicious. Beyond impressed with this place and can't wait to go back. 1000000/10

This is a long-overdue review for a place that is a part of the regular repertoire when I don't…read morefeel like cooking. Over the last few years, I've worked my way through nearly the entire menu and brought numerous guests here; every single one has left impressed. The interior is peaceful and welcoming, but it's the owners who truly make the experience. Their warmth and genuine hospitality--whether we are dining in or picking up takeout--make it a genuine pleasure to support this business. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. The curries are rich and deeply flavorful without ever being greasy. Here are the standouts I find myself ordering on repeat: Himalayan Goat Curry & Himalayan Lamb Curry: Both feature incredibly tender meat in aromatic, rich gravies. The goat curry, in particular, is a less dry version of Sukha Gosht--you can tell it's been slow-cooked for hours. Fish Coconut Curry: Perfectly cooked salmon in a decadent, and beautifully spiced coconut curry sauce. It ties with the goat curry as my absolute favorite. Aloo Bodi & Tama: This Nepalese dish was a new discovery for me. The contrast between the crunchy bamboo shoots and creamy potatoes/black-eyed peas is superb, and the spices never overwhelm the vegetables. The Classics (Dal, Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala): The Dal is pure comfort (exactly like my mother's!), and the Palak Paneer tastes like it came straight from an authentic Punjabi dhaba. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is a close second to the famous version at the iconic Chor Bazaarr restaurant in London--tangy, spicy, and delicious. A true local treasure!

For Half Moon Bay this is a solid Himalayan restaurant and could stand out even in the greater Bay…read moreArea. Dishes are well spiced and vegan options are properly marked on the menu. Because the food is good, the restaurant did get pretty crowded and seemed that the servers (likely owners) where a bit overwhelmed. Dropping one star because of that reason and also because the lady server/owner was visibly sick and although she ended up putting on a mask she clearly shouldn't have worked that day.

I can see why because their food is delicious. Fiancé and I got their momo platter (4 each of the veggie, pork and chicken momo), chicken kabob, and chicken thukpa (noodle soup). We have never had thukpa before and it was pretty good and warming. Perfect on a chilly night. Momos were juicy, and beautifully wrapped. The chicken kabob came out sizzling and was quite juicy. Their portion size is great. We even had some leftovers for next day. Service was fast and friendly. Was impressed there were just two people waiting tables/taking orders for a full house. Food came out quick and there were even a couple takeout orders while we were there so they definitely managed the flow quite well. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

That might not be a great thing though because the food just didn't have enough flavor for me. To be fair, maybe it's a difference between Indian and Himalayan food, I'm not really sure. I think it might work for people who would enjoy Indian cuisine if the flavors were more subtle. Service was friendly and everything was prepped well, it just wasn't for me. I wish I would have noticed the dumplings on the menu before ordering or that the staff would have pointed them out, because I would have liked to try them and I'm not sure if or when I'll be back.
