The slaw and potatoes were both really good. Wifey had a Stew Beef plate with fried okra and green beans. She said that all of them were really, really good. I tried them and must say that I fully concur. Pops had a plain hamburger. He said he likes to try plain hamburgers in order to really see how good they do. He REALLY liked the burger! Finally...the Strawberry Pudding...OMG! This is a banana pudding like creation, except that they use Strawberries in place of the bananas. It was the BEST pudding of this sort that I have EVER had! It was so good that we went back later in the day to get more!

They have a small variety of items that are in jars; I picked up mild salsa, but they have dill pickles, jams, pickled garlic, etc. In the cooler section, they have a few varieties of whole quiches, blocks of cheese, whole chicken, etc. The service was helpful and friendly. And the ambiance was what you would expect from a small farmer indoor produce store. Note: They no longer serve any prepared food like some of the information I found online indicated.

My wise wife thought about this meat store because it's where our daughter shops and gave them a call. The stew beef here was on special at 5.99 per. Lb. Still my upper limit price wise! I made the quick twenty mile trip and did a good look around before I made my purchase. Most meat items here were extremely expensive, even more so than in my hometown! Nevertheless, I got a butcher to package two one and a half pound packs of this very nice looking stew beef for me. Likely the nicest and most lean I've ever seen! I will most definitely return to this butcher shop the next time they have something on sale! Thanks! ..... Joe T.
