My first exposure to 3-D printing was when I was in Albuquerque New Mexico some years ago at a Yelp event; there was a 3-D printer and we made things. Now I am here in New Orleans and 3D printing is right at my fingertips. The instructor Sam was very patient and thorough. He explained everything on levels that anyone could even understand. And yes the class is necessary before you can operate the 3-D printer; makes total sense, whose gonna cut you loose with a $4000 piece of equipment all willy-nilly? That's right, $4K; I checked the prices. At any rate, I'm looking forward to using the 3-D printer. To be noted, there's a laser printing and some other printing devices as well. Unitech Training Academy has to be one of the WORST places to work or attend (don't send yourself or your child to that school). Why here's a few reasons, 1 they haven't had a Pharmacy tech teacher since April and students didn't have books for 3 weeks but they still charged them $15,895.00 for their program and dropped students(while still charging) for not showing up to a class that didn't have an instructor, mind you I was always told to never tell a prospect that the program didn't have an instructor but I definitely still had to fill the class. The EKG/Phlebotomy teacher wasn't even Certified and preyed on the younger students. Mind you that class also cost $15,895.00. I would often voice my concerns about this because it was my job to get the students to enroll and it was also my job to make $15,895.00 make sense (which it doesn't but I did a great job making it). When I voiced it they would gaslight me and add that my job is to enroll nothing else. Well since I felt bad about convincing these individuals to join a school with VERY outdated equipment (no hospital uses the machines they teach with), no teacher and very poor leadership (NO ONE knows who the director is because she stays locked in her office and she doesn't show any concern about them at all) I would only do the bare minimum. I was then written up and was told that I had to the 12th of September to set 30 appointments a week (mind you I don't even get 30 leads a week) or I would be terminated. I started mentally preparing myself to be fired because in 2 years I was the 4th admissions rep so I knew my time was coming. Well that time came today not only was I TERMINATED for not meeting the requirements by the 4th and not the 12th. They terminated me with no paperwork. When I asked the Director for the paperwork, as well as the paperwork from my 2 previous write ups that they never gave me no matter how many times I requested it, I was told she had to check and see if she could give me what I am asking for. I'm not upset at all that I was let go because I have been preparing myself to be removed because I was beginning to question character and integrity and God removed me from where I truly didn't want to be. But the manner in which they unprofessionally went about the matter is what led me to this post. Now that I can freely speak don't waste your time or money at that school! You will have to use Pell grant, subsidize and unsubsidized loans to pay for it and you will get NO REFUND check... save your coins and go to Delgado or Nunez or a free program

She cannot give any information about my daughter's school , so I went on and said does she have clinical tomorrow? She said yes I said well. I will meet you tomorrow after clinical for you to explain to me. Why is she doing clinical and not ever have took a class to know what to do as a CNA. A hour later she called my daughter and said that she cannot no longer take the class at their school and she will fully refund her. To my surprise she seemed very excited about the idea which made me excited to get her started. I was open to it except I had no idea where to begin. "Who do I call? Is she too old? Ugh, how much will this cost?" Personally, I have no prior experience with cheerleading, whatsoever. Heck, I don't even know any cheerleaders and I consider myself a damn good Saints fan. I can WHO-DAT and holler but to get up there and cheer, well, it just looks so easy anyone should be able to do it, right? Wrong! I was so wrong. LOL To know my daughter and her ambition level I knew not just any cheer team would do. You see, I have a confession. I was at a loss. My daughter is very much a beginner and where does one go at this stage of the game? I was stuck at the, "I don't-know-what-I'm-doing", stage of the game. It just seemed hopeless especially since I wasn't getting any return calls or emails. And then after reaching out to the few teams I did try to get a hold of (and it's not easy), I got an email from Fran inviting us to check out a class and reassuring me not to worry that my daughter would be fine and no matter what level she is she would manage at her own pace. Whew! Now that the pressure was off we went to the first class. That was just a few weeks ago. And I must take this opportunity to compliment her coaches (that's right more than one coach, there are more than enough instructors) they are so knowledgeable and patient and even complimentary. In the little time my girl has been training with Fran, she has progressed so fast. I knew we were in the right place when I saw Fran grab a large rubber band so that my daughter would keep her hands at the right distance when attempting a back bend (you have to focus on not dropping that rubber band wrapped around opposite thumbs). LOL It's those tips that I appreciate so much. Fran is always paying attention to each and every girl who is training there. She makes sure to critique in a constructive way. And let me mention, these girls are HAPPY to be there. Even the coaches. It's such a warm environment that I would recommend this program to any girl or boy who desires to learn cheer in a competitive nature or even train to try out at any school. I never thought cheer was so serious. (DYNASTY CRESCENT CITY CHEER is just that good that you seek them out to train you for your junior high or even high school cheer team try-outs. I am so impressed and happy with my decision. The best part of competition tuition includes a trip to the beach for the grand finale at the end of competition season. I wish I would have started my girl with Fran years ago! Just to paint a picture: Inside Kids Sports location, very clean and no sign of "stinky feet" smell. New Equipment and lots of conditioning involved. Clean restrooms and waiting area inside the "gym". Bring a light jacket with you as the AC is cranked up for the athletes and coaches.
