The prices are good and the stock is different than other places. The one downside is that the line in the fabric room can get long and it's first come first served, so when I just needed a roll of ribbon I had to stand behind 15 people who needed fabric cut. That was tedious. They don't have as many different throws as some of the other places, but this is a good place to come to fill in the gaps. Next year I'm going to really do up my Mardi Gras costume and I'm going to get some higher end fabric and this is where I'm coming!

The prices were the best I found anywhere, online or locally, for this kind of lace. She was quick to recommend ALL ABOUT SEWING. Things were just coming back after the months of COVID shutdowns, so I brought my beloved Singer Featherweight 221 (a legacy from dear departed mom, given to HER - as a wedding gift in 1946 (!) They said I'd have to wait a bit. It took awhile, but I must say the friendly service, the way I was kept informed of progress, and told what was needed (not much, it turned out) made it a pleasure. The skilled, savvy folks at ALL ABOUT SEWING, then were able to 'spiff up' my machine. It was well worth the wait. My machine looks good as new, and runs like silk. Huzzahs!
