Was suggested to come here from a friend of mine and no regrets for listening to them. What I love most is the ease of making an appointment and being able to have an appointment. Doing the whole walk in thing can be miserable. Instead I go right online and make that appointment for a precision cut. Come right in, wash the hands and phone off and also these days you must wear your mask! Still get the same great service as pre-COVID times despite the new "fashion" requirements. Kris and his team are friendly and just do an all-around great job with the service and the atmosphere. This is the shop! Kung-fu shows and old school R&B playing all while you lounge and get your hair done!

It was hard to part with Phases since I moved to California, but every time I come back to visit home---I get my hair did!!!!! Karen, the owner is one of the most high end curly haired stylist in the area. She personally trains all of her stylists to be the best---in customer service and skill. I have seen Natalie for over four years now, and still have separation anxiety when anyone else touches my hair for a tune up. With top end products and make up, it's definately hard to beat the price for the quality of service you receive here.

So disappointed in an express keratin treatment ($30 more expensive than other salons in the area)…read morethat lasted one wash until frizz returned. I'd had the express at other salons with good results. I called and spoke to the stylist who pretty snidely said I should try something else but said she'd check the bottle to be sure she used the right formula I never heard back from her so I emailed the salon to express my disappointment; heard nothing back. I previously had an outstanding experience at Scottfree Mequon but that stylist is no longer there. I dropped $200+ on a horrible result this time. Be advised before you do the same.

As for the girl who dyed my hair Kate - she took a sample snip at my cut to test bleach and when I came in and asked about it she laughed and said "opps we didnt process it!" With a big smile and some shy giggle - wait you snipped my hair to test it but didnt?? Hmmm Thats big Hell NO!! Asked to be lighter left with a green tint darker color?? Wouldnt go back to either them - thanks for the hair hell - mind you I had waist length hair when I came in and shoulder when I left Never never going back Plus the i side looks like a Pico Blvd salon!

All of their beauty services seem super reasonable including hair color, threading, waxing, or extensions...I was checking out the service and price list while waiting a minute for my appointment time in their cute white and pink seating area) I'm pretty picky about my hair and pixie cut. Andrea is by far my favorite stylist in a long while. She's super skilled and makes sure to ask questions while cutting and truly wants to ensure I'm cool with the outcome. She's smart, experienced, and super kind and easy to talk to while I'm in the chair. I got an eyebrow threading for the first time in foreverrrr too. I like my thick brows but I thought it could be nice to get them shaped. I am so glad I did. The technician (I wish I remembered her name!) respected that I wanted to keep them full, but the shaping she did made me feel so confident and pretty in the end. She even showed me how to use a little makeup to make them pop a bit. I also love that she didn't use any oils or products after threading. I stopped getting eyebrow services because I always seemed to break out from the "calming" oils that were applied post-shaping. I'm sure you can request it if you want, but I'm glad I got it without. I'm really picky about where I get my hair done, and I'm glad I stumbled upon Lovey Beauty Bar. Go schedule yourself an appointment! If you're picky and looking for a new salon to get your hair cut and/or colored try this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by, and wasn't expecting, how cute and trendy it was inside! I ended up there because my normal threading place closes so early since COVID - boo to them! Immediately I was greeted and felt welcomed and well taken care of! They did a spectacular job on my eyebrows and I feel I'm very picky about them. I'm definitely going back! I didn't realize they are a full salon and offer more services than threading. Although my first time here, I think I found my new threading spot! If they are consistently spectacular, I may even branch out to their other services!

Valdemar did my hair and taught me how to style it (which is a miracle because I'm very uncoordinated). He left after doing his time there and I had to move on and find someone else. Fast forward to a few months ago and I got tired of bad haircuts or hair stylists too busy to call you back to schedule. I did a search for Valdemar and found him at Beehive (thank you yelp reviews). Going back to Val after all these years was awesome! He makes you feel like a great friend and he is so talented at managing my hair! He also seems to be able to get me in pretty quickly! Beehive is nothing fancy, but frankly all I care about is looking good when I leave. They also don't push fancy products though they have a small boutique that you can spot for unique items! Overall, I'd suggest not waiting 15 years before you call and set up a hair appt with Val!
