Notably, they do not use complex medical terms because they take the time to explain/for you to understand. During the exam, they could tell what symptoms I was experiencing due to the misalignments I had (without me verbally stating them). After correcting my subluxations, my symptoms were relieved. I still have to go in for a weekly adjustment, but I always feel empowered after. I tend to forget that pain relief is a necessity for a good life, not a luxury, and going is always worth it.

Under the care of Dr. Morris, my neck pain improved tremendously. I was assigned daily homework and supplements to help with healing along with nutrition advice. He is personable and cares about his patients. He is also very attentive and listens to all my questions. He even teaches me about why something may be occurring and shows me skeletal models while doing so. Everyone in the office is nice, courteous and professional. I change into a hospital gown for each visit. There are pre and post scans of the spine to ensure all is well. The technique is very gentle, but very effective in relieving pain. My second baby was stuck in the exact same position that my first had been in, so I wanted to take action earlier than I had the first time around. Dr. Ho came highly recommended to help baby's positioning, and he did not disappoint. After ~5 appointments with a different prenatal chiropractor, Dr. Ho was able to encourage my baby to flip head down within 2 appointments. I continued seeing him for the rest of my pregnancy, and when I went in to be induced, my midwife noted that not only was my baby head down, but she was in the perfect position for birth. I was able to have a peaceful VBAC with no epidural, and I attribute much of that success to Dr. Ho. I sit at a computer all day, go rock climbing on the weekends and get up to some other physical shenanigans during my free time, so I always have my share of aches and pains for her to work on. She will release some areas on my neck and back, but also goes on to check my wrist and shoulders or whatever else I've tweaked. I sprained my ankle the year before, and Kimia was able to adjust it to make sure it was aligned and healing well. She never tells me to back off what I'm doing, but helps me recover and take care of myself so I can keep doing what I love. Kimia is also approachable, knowledgeable and generally fun to chat with. Not only is he knowledgable, but he takes the time to really understand how I injured the area and what he could do to help. What I wasn't expecting was the "adjusting hours". Your first visit - you'll need to make an appointment, which is about a 1/2 hr, so Dr. Potts can get to know you, understand your issue, and adjust you. From then on, you can just walk-in during "adjusting hours" to get adjusted within minutes (depending on how many people are waiting). I was even able to take my toddler, contained in their stroller, to my walk-in adjustment! I'll continue going back to Dr. Potts and BodyDoc as we work on healing my back issue.
