Normally I would give a 5 star, been going here for almost 5 years. The quality of haircut has gone down. Might as well go to Supercuts for the same cut and save money. Took almost 2 hours to get my haircut. They hair stylist there just want to chit chat with each other and are in no hurry. The hair stylist I got, cut my entire hair and beard with the clippers with attachments. Didn't even blend in my beard using a comb or use scissors on my hair. After 4 different times of coming in to try and get a haircut and refused service. I get the hint. This used to be a great alternative to the Barber Shop. I had gotten several good cuts here. But everytime I have tried lately I have been turned away or told there is an hour to hour and a half wait. Even though the salon is empty and they don't take appointments. They say there are appointments ahead of me. When I call in I am told it is first come first serve. Just wanted a haircut and not play silly games. Horrible service. No attention to detail. Literally only spent less than 5 min on my haircut. Bad attitude. Never coming back. I can get better service at Supercuts. I did not made an appointment before going in. When I got there they have no one waiting. Only one customer in a chair getting a hair cut. The lady that was free asked me if I called ahead. I said no and if you are busy I can come back tomorrow. I thought walk ins are ok since yelp said walk in welcomes. She told me to wait a few minutes and sat me down on the chair. She cuts my hair in under 5 minutes and finish my cutting my hair before the customer that was already there before me. This is the fastest hair cut I have ever gotten in my entire life. I was told there would be an hour and a half wait it was 2 hours and 55 minutes before my kid was in the chair. Then they let a regular go in front of us. It was not a great experience. Shelby is awesome! Usually when I get a cut, I go home and clip out all the extra hair the barber didn't get (you know...those long single strands most barbers miss)...but I didn't have to do that today! I went home and was able to go on with my day! The attention to detail was amazing and I was shocked at how quick she finished for how meticulous she was! I will definitely really going back for another cut (...and a free beer!) P.S. Very clean!! I used to go to a regular barbershop and you could not image the shock when i came into this place. They do ANYTHING you can think of make you look presentable as you can be. I have a difficult hair to work with and my cut style isn't a walk in the park either but they seem to have it handled no matter what stylist that's up to bat. Definitely recommend this place. P.S. New barber spot in Turlock. I have been going to supercuts all my life while I was in Turlock and wanted to try something different. I went to a place once besides supercuts and my hair got messed up. Glad to see something like this open up in the area because it's similar to places I went to when I lived in Seattle. It's in a good spot, pretty central and accessible. The place is really nice. The decor is nice and very cool. It has a great atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The prices are fantastic. You get a free complimentary drink with service. My stylist was quick, attentive, and friendly. I was a first time customer and so I got the whole noble service. Neck shave and the shampoo and towel. It was fantastic. The wait was not too long and the place was air conditioned and cool. I got a gift certificate for NobleMens from my wife and tried it out today. Everything the other reviewers have said is true! The place itself looks clean and classy,and they had the Senior Bowl on the big flat screen by the pedicure chair, so that was a plus! The staff is very friendly and they make you feel very relaxed and at home! Erin have me a great haircut and beard trim, washed my hair while I relaxed with a hit towel over my face (that was great), and tamed my wild Irish eyebrows! The highlight, for me, was the pedicure. My feet are not gnarly by any means, but it was nice to soak them for a while and have them massaged, nails trimmed, etc. They still feel good an hour later! Sarah was very personable and we had a nice chat while she worked her magic. The price is a but higher than you would pay at a Supercuts-type place, but the extras and the attention paid to me to make me feel at ease made it well worth It! I will definitely be back! UPDATE: I brought my son (12) to NobleMens today, and Alyssa gave him a great haircut! He doesn't usually like haircuts much, but he liked this one! Cool place... my first time there to see if someone could help me with my first beard. It had grown 3 months and needed taming and shaping. Sat down with Jenny and she took her time trimmed and shaped it, looks great!! She also gave me a good fade and haircut!! Me and my two sons went there for the first time today. Let me tell you that I love the Barbershop. My oldest is 9 and he really doesn't like getting his haircut but told me he loved his experience and asked me to take him there from now on. Allison S did an amazing job. My other son is 2 and got his first big boy haircut today and Jen did a wonderful job. Everyone made my boys feel super comfortable and even my lil one was so confident he sat there all by himself like a big boy.
