    Purple Yam Cream Cake
    Kim N.

I was in Troy for 1 night for a work conference, and wanted a casual takeout spot. This place was perfect because there's also an Asian market to walk around! There's a very small produce section, frozen section, snack aisle, noodles, seasonings...a good amount of variety for a small store! There's an Asian coffee/bakery stand, where I got a purple yam cream cake - it was very good but a little pricier than I expected (I think $6.50ish). From the Noble Fish stand, there's a few tables and an iPad to order takeout. I got the chirashi bowl, which is fairly priced at $18, the spicy tuna crunch roll, which had a great amount of tuna in it, and the yellowtail + onion roll. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area!

Fish was super fresh here. My only complaint was a tad bit too much rice. Also I overheard an angry customer griping that that they stopped taking orders 20 minutes before their posted closing time, which I thought was weird too. The dine-in seating is pretty limited to the bar and counter high top. It looks like most people pick up their orders and leave. While the fish was fresh yummy, I do wish they had a bit more variety. Parking is in the back, the lot looked full but I was lucky to find a spot or two open. Ambiance: you basically place your order at the kiosk. And they call your phone number when it's ready to pick up. Pretty simple. Connected to a grocery store you can pick up other side dishes or items from the store to accompany your meal.

I decided to treat myself to sushi at Noble village last Saturday and everything was fresh and delicious. It's actually better with their new kiosk where you may place your sushi order and add extras if you'd like. You should also check out their bakery area. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're in the mood for high quality sushi. There's also a dine in area in the store.

My go-to spot for quick, 5/5 sushi at a fair price. Service is fast, and the sushi is consistently fresh. I usually order the spicy salmon, spicy shrimp, and miso soup. Never disappoints! They've been under renovation for a few months but are still open. Seating is limited, though there's enough for a quick bite. There's also a cute little asian market inside. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Highly recommend! They're doing renovation right now (Noble is merging with White Wolf) but they are open! They have a great variety of foods and drinks for such a small store! They have a cute little cafe that you can get different drinks from and they made us a little design! The employees have always been very kind and fast with their service. If you like Asian foods and unique bakeries, I recommend!

Err..Which grocery store u been to has a tip jar and ask for tips on the checkout screen? Yea me neither. What kind of business practice is this. I guess they need money for renovations, because it looks nicer than before. Maybe they change owner, because Nobel fish sushi is supposed to be similar to One World market, but it is not. They did something to my rice bowl that I am very thirsty afterwards. Also no soy sauce packet in any of my orders.

We got takeout since the space is currently being renovated and seating is pretty limited. This was definitely the move! We also ordered ahead of time, something I would recommend doing since it made picking up our order really easy. The person at the register was very fast and efficient. The food was great and reasonably priced. The fish was fresh and high quality. The rice could use a touch more seasoning for me personally, but the rolls tasted great nonetheless. This will definitely be my go-to sushi place in Michigan. Also, I love the little cafe and market attached to the restaurant. It's great for those in need of Japanese essentials.

They've come a long way from being in the back of a grocery store to becoming one of if not, the number one Sushi destinations in Metro Detroit fantastic quality fish, expert preparation real Japanese feel inside and a whole market of stuff to shop for while you're waiting for your takeout or eat in order Noble is an absolute winner. Go there thank me later.

I've only ever heard things about this place from friends and they were right! With the current expansion there wasn't any seating anymore, but I'm so excited for it! We ordered the Smelt Roe Nigiri, Salmon Skin Roll, Spicy California Roll, Tropical roll, and Saba Barrera Sushi with eel sauce. The sushi was FILLED to the brim and they did not skip out on the ginger. The sushi was so yummy and my favorite was the Salmon Skin Roll which had a great crunch. The eel sauce added so much flavor as well. I personally did not like the Saba Barrera Sushi which was mackerel but my boyfriend did. I would definitely come again to try their other options.

Amazing sushi and their market is very convenient, with an assortment of Japanese beverages available. Service also great and interior atmosphere spacious with many seats. Will try their food next time and write an additional review - but the Michigan roll I got from their market was incredible. They also had Lemon-O sodas and Peach Calpico drinks as well.

Definitely wasn't impressed by the sushi here. Overall, the rolls lacked flavor, the vegetables weren't fresh and they tasted like they were premade and sitting for awhile. Too many good restaurants around for that. Sadly disappointed!

    Aminah K.

Noble Fish has the freshest sushi around. The rolls are simple, flavorful and such good value. My favorite is the spicy California roll. The newly renovated space includes Noble Fish, White Wolf Japanese Patisserie and a small Asian market. They have few counter seating inside and few tables outside. You can order online or on the ipads inside.

Been here many times and each time it's a hit. My kids love this place. We've gotten take out and dined in many, many times as it's our go to sushi place. The staff are friendly and food is prepared in an efficient manner that we don't have crying kids complaining they are hungry. We love the Michigan roll, and the tuna or salmon rolls with jalapeño. Miso soup is flavorful has seaweed in it and tofu, which the kids like. Another hit is the seaweed salad. I always like the spicy tuna hand roll, which has nice chunks of fish in it. Nothing has the chopped up fish, cream cheese, or imitation crab that proliferates other sushi restaurants. Here it's pure and simple with bright, fresh flavors. They take their craft seriously and it shows in the simplicity of their dishes. The kids like to pick out a special treat from the market attached as their dessert. We like the different drink choices and of course noshing on what the kids picked. Overall, it's a family friendly place if your kids like sushi and can't wait to see how they are updating the space for more seating.

Noble Village Clawson -Noble Fish & White Wolf Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Noble Village Clawson -Noble Fish & White Wolf

    Are there any vegan options?

    Yep. Plenty of vegan rolls.

Do they sell sushi grade fish for homemade sushi?

    Yes we do!

    What is your food cost?

    Depends on what you order.

I was in Clawson a few weeks ago and Noble Fish was all boarded up. Did they close? Repairs? What's up with Noble Fish? (posted 6-30-19)

Even if they are completely closed, you should wait outside until they re open. I'll join you.

Do they have the Dynamite appetizer all day?

Yes! The sushi bar closes for an hour or two every day except Sunday to reset for service (between lunch and dinner)

Is there a half off sushi day? If so, when is it? Thanks!

    No.

Planning on getting a large party tray from here. Do I need to let them know a few days in advance?

I would give them notification at least one day in advance, and do in person, to guarantee the order was understood properly. ??

The layout includes three bars: the main bar, the sushi bar, and the tiki bar. The crab rangoon cheese katsu sticks were as good as they sound. I was worried there wouldn't be much crab, but that wasn't the case. The lobster tail robata was easy to peel, and complemented well by its accompaniments. The pork belly robata was tender, while the tare added some sweetness. Of the two, I preferred the pork belly. I've had four of the six bao buns. The chicken had a char flavor, and the steak sauce added some welcome moisture. The filet was tender, with a bold but not overbearing garlic aioli. The pork belly was also tender, glazed with a sweet honey, and balanced by some savory pickles. The sausage had a nice snap, and the Fresno peppers gave it a bit of a kick. The filet and pork belly were my two favorites. The sushi is some of the best I've had locally. The shikotsu roll (wagyu and bone marrow) was incredibly rich and buttery. $36 may seem steep, but it's the most memorable sushi roll I've ever had. The toro (fatty tuna) to caviar was also very impressive, and had soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Here's how I rank the nigiri I've tried: 1. Tamago (omelette) 2. Madai (sea bream) 3. Aji (horse mackerel) 4. Shima Aji (striped jack) 5. Ikura (salmon roe) 6. Uni (sea urchin) Lastly, for dessert, I've had the key lime pie. It was remarkably fluffy and honestly one of the best slices I've had. Simply put, TigerLily blew me away. I can confidently say it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Metro Detroit area.
