Amazing new store with a great selection. Owner is very knowledgeable and makes great reccomendations. Lots of unusual liquor and honestly not that expensive! I was shocked by the quality and price to be honest but a great find!!!

Had the pleasure of shopping at this store several months ago and am only, just now, getting to write a review of what an awesome experience i had shopping at Noble Root. I needed some booze for my wedding and i stopped in and the owner, Kyle, gave me great recommendations for wines to pair with some of the food that would be served. Kyle clearly knows his stuff as all of my guests loved the wines that were recommended. I will definitely be returning in the future to expand my wine and liquor horizons!

I've only been here a few times since I work nearby but don't live nearby. Every time I've had a positive experience though. They have a good selection of unique wines at a variety of price points. Each time I've visited I've been greeted immediately and offered help, which I appreciate. I came back in today because they announced they're closing next month, and I picked up 2 bottles of Austrian wine and a NY Gerwurtz/Chardonnay blend. All are wines I haven't come across before so I'm excited to try them. Overall, this is a small store but with a large variety for its size. They still have quite a bit it of inventory left so if you have a chance to stop by before they close, I recommend it. read more

So happy to have a new shop downtown. I stopped in on opening day and picked up a bottle recommended by the owner - picpoul. It was a great recommendation and perfect for a warm summer evening. There is a section for local products - wine and spirits and a great selection of imports. I am looking forward to covid end times and fun tasting events at Noble Root. Especially because of the super turntable they have to provide tunes for the shop. They will let you bring a record to play while you shop...I asked:) read more

What's a new way one can celebrate TGIF? By stopping into this privately owned store to pick out something new to sip on. The owner was so nice and helped assist me in picking out a nice bottle of gin for my step dad for Christmas. I noticed several craft cocktails I have never seen before , of course I had to pick out a couple . This store isn't over crowded like some liquor stores I've visited in the past , but they still have a great selection and the prices are fair too . I try to shop local for as much of my things as I can , and now I'll stop here after work when I need to pick up an adult beverage! read more

I stopped here to celebrate their one year anniversary and it did not disappoint. I was immediately greeted by Kyle, the owner, and asked if I needed help with anything. He was extremely friendly and accommodating and knew his stuff. For the anniversary celebrating he had various companies giving wine and liquor samples, and food. It was a great time. I found some hard to find cocktails from Cardinal Spirits, a distillery in Indiana, and I was super excited about that. I found parking to be easy around the corner and because it was a Saturday, did not have to feed the meter. read more

I was looking for a nice bottle and Noble was the closest one. I am SO GLAD proximity brought us together. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was greater greeted immediately and not hounded when I decided to walk around just to look. I eavesdropped on someone else's rec and finally decided to ask for my own. I was happy to hear the staff tastes everything that enters the store and that they pride themselves on having small batch black and women owned bottles. The prices are reasonable and I'm sad I don't live in the area because I would be a regular. The store is super clean with great energy. If I'm ever in Buffalo again I will be sure to stop by! read more

Easily my new favorite liquor store. Called to ask a question and they couldn't answer but instead TEXTED ME BACK! How cool is that! We've been here a few times and each time the guy working (who is maybe the owner) is super friendly and ready to help with the questions I have. He was professional AND endearing. He was always engaged in what we thought of each stop, and his relationship with the people at the breweries/distilleries/wineries seemed genuine. And whether it was him or just the smaller size, It honestly felt like we were treated better, being a part of Rich's group, then being in a group of 50 coming off a tour bus. The stops were all great. I had some reservations about a few, but was honestly able to find something I loved at each location. Not to mention, the price is extremely competitive with all of the other tours I was researching. The van we were in was even fancy and brand new. We started out at VB Brewery, where we enjoyed our flight of awesome beer, and then had a tour of the brewing facility itself (where we got a secret extra tasting!). From there, we headed to Lost Borough, where the beer was equally amazing (and a few of us may have ordered from Sticky Lips right around the corner, which is totally encouraged!). The final stop of the day was over in Webster at Knucklehead Craft Brewing. This brewery had my favorite beer of the day, the Knockout Stout. This brewery also has a kitchen where they serve some awesome food as well! I would definitely recommend TourRoc to anybody who is interested in craft beer, or to anybody who is interested in learning more about it and the Rochester beer scene in general. Probably the best thing about TourRoc is you literally just have to show up and you're set. Your ticket price includes EVERYTHING - luxury transportation, a flight of beer at each brewery (or for those of you who are gluten free, wine, cider, or cocktails as available), snacks and water on the tour bus, and all tips for the driver and tour director. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages (alcoholic or not) on the tour bus as well! They have completely non-plastic to go cups which are unique looking and we loved the extra effort they put into sustainability. They have bags of their used coffee grounds for free if you need to add to your compost pile or whatever needs you might have. 10/10, will be back!
