Bought a Napoleon Prestige BBQ at this store August 16, 2023. We like to buy Canadian if we can…read moreand we know Napoleon is a good product. The store even put it together for us which was great. This BBQ works great, it is at our cottage, and it has not been used that much. When we went to change our propane tank in July 2025, we noticed the doors that open there are lined with a hard plastic. This plastic is all melting. None of our other BBQ's had plastic inside these doors. We did not notice it as we had not needed to change our propane tank. We reached out to the store and they said that since it is past a year, we need to contact Napoleon - which we did try to do. Spent over an hour on two tries to get through to customer service. Then tried on line with no response. My husband called the Aurora store and spoke with the BBQ person - they then submitted our claim. That was August 6 - no word back yet. Not very happy. We thought shopping at a local Canadian store and buying a Canadian BBQ would be the best. But not happy. I have some good pictures of the melting doors if anyone wants to see them. We would like metal doors for this BBQ. We have been looking at BBQ's now when we are out and they all have metal doors - just like our old BBQ's.

Store just off Leslie, but must drive in coming south on Leslie as there's a one way boulevard separator. I googled them for general info and noticed some really bad Google reviews which was very off putting, and at first deterred me from coming here. So I came here to browse as they had a great sale on Riobel products, which is hard to find since they only sell to bath boutique stores that have longevity presence. I've been here 3 times this week (january 2018 Snowmageddon) and this store despite the snow dump and freezing snow-rain has customers constantly coming in and out. They seem to have at least three sales staff that are always here, and they all acknowledge you and ask if you need help. Kal(Khaled) was the guy that helped me and was really nice without any pressure. He understood I needed some items today or fast and helped to call for expedited delivery. Then I returned a few days later to return a tap because my plumber needed another style set up, and he remembered me and offered to exchange to another item, as the refund policy is strict here. They have a house brand called Royal, which syle looks like another premier brand but for way less, and it feels really solid, full of metal not plastic parts like you get at a big box store. Lots of high end bathroom plumbing parts, free standing, bath tubs, toilets, bowl sinks and vanities on sale over the winter. My work colleague did warn me, she also bought from them at this sale, and a small piece was missing from her shower set in the sealed box. When she asked for them to help they referred her to the company(Grohe in this example) as they are the ones who packed the boxes and can send the replacement/missing pieces and not this store. I can see why this would upset customers, but Home Depot would do the same. So far so good, happy with my purchases on plumbing hardware.

Located on Dufferin, south of Steeles, it is unassuming until you walk in the door. Anything you need for your kitchen or bathroom reno can be found here at all price points. From high end (custom made in Italy) to ready to purchase from their warehouse. What stood out? The service. When we walked in we were the only customers and were greeted by an elderly gentleman. Typically we like to walk around unbothered and only ask for service if we had any questions or needed help so his attention was a bit concerning for us at first. This feeling only lasted a few minutes because he then walked us around the store explaining each product we were interested which included if the company was Canadian owned and where the product was made. He made reasonable recommendations both in price point and quality and offered amazing discounts where he could. We bought a shower system and then went back for a new tub and toilets on a second visit. And the elderly gentleman? He is the owner. So down to earth and approachable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is doing renovations and in need of fixtures or a new toilet or tub.

He immediately said that the promotion had expired (it hadn't - he just wasn't up to speed with the promotions) and that what is on the website is not their problem, and I was free to contact Stihl if I had an issue. He wouldn't even look at the website page that I had on my phone that clearly showed it was an active promotion. I walked out feeling quite ticked off. The following week I went to a different Stihl dealer (Alpine Lawn and Garden on Kennedy) and they were very helpful - bought the saw, got the promotion, walked out super happy. So my advice is that if you are looking to buy a Stihl product, give Imperial a miss, and try somewhere else like Alpine. Each Stihl dealer is an independent, and they are not all the same.
